Porky’s Baseball Cards & Autographs is a sports collectibles store located in Woodland Hills CA in the San Fernando Valley just outside of Los Angeles CA. Porky’s sells vintage sports collectibles, baseball cards, autographed memorabilia, and authenticated sports items.

History

Established in 1989.

TJ Schwartz got back into collecting in the mid 1980’s. After a few years trying the show circuit, TJ opened Porky’s Baseball Cards & Stuff in 1989 in North Hollywood, CA. In 2005, He moved the store to Woodland Hills, CA in the Warner Plaza and in January, 2011, Schwartz moved again across the street to what TJ calls, «The Big Boys Toy Store»!

Porky’s specializes in Graded, Vintage sports cards and 100% authentic, quality autographs. While we do carry a full line of newer cards, packs, & boxes and autographs like Kobe, LBJ, Pujols & Aaron Rogers, you’ll usually see more Mickey Mantle cards and autographs than the new flavor of the month athlete. TJ is always looking for the one of a kind collectible and we’re always buying!

In 1991, TJ used his previous 20 years experience in TV writing, sales and marketing to create and launch, ‘On Your Side” in Tuff Stuff Magazine. It soon became the most popular column in the well respected Hobby Publication. Schwartz saved collectors countless thousands of dollars by helping them get their monies back after they had been ripped off by unscrupulous companies. TJ would intervene on the collectors’ behalfs with small and even Public entities to resolve matters, all at absolutely No Charge!
