LA Furniture Store – Woodland Hills

This place was great, Nayri the interior designer was particularly helpful in getting us the dining chairs that we needed. She went out of her way to help us. we look forward to shopping here again in the very near future!

Usually when you start looking to buy something at least for me its a process. You have a set budget and you have a certain taste you’re trying to satisfy. There is a young lady who works for LA Furniture. Her name is Nayri Attarian. Nayri is by far the most seasoned sell Associate I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She is aproachable she is attentive she knows her Companies product line and she has an infectious personality. I went into her store in Woodland Hills to replace the Family Sectional. I am very thrifty when it comes to purchases, especially in todays economy. I left her store with an entire living room sofa combonation, a Dining room set, Patio sitting area combo and a entire Family room Sectional with a matching Chair. What was really unique was Nayri’s knowledge off the companies product line including the SKU’s. She knew what I was looking for, and what would match just from me describing our color combonations and what designs we were looking for. Needless to say my wife was floored by everything we put together. It converted our house and gave it a new personality. It was so noticeable that when the neigbors came to investigate as they usually do their reaction to the facelift was like they had just won something, keep in mind this is not their house we are talking about. It just looked that good. So in closing I would like to let LA Furniture Know they have a true Treasure in Nayri. She is Awsome. Oh by the way that was a budget I didn’t mind going over. It was well worth it. Nayri from me and my Wife thank you.

I love this store! So many beautiful modern and glamorous pieces for every room in your home including the back yard! Every item makes you stop and say «wow.» And the staff could not be nicer. Customer service is their #1 priority.

Nima was really patient and unlike other sales people. However the sofa quality is horrible for the synthetic leather sofas, be warned. I wish I was warned against buying it. It became permanently dirty almost immediately.

This was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture company. I went into the store to buy something I saw online and the computers weren’t working the Internet was down. So I sat there for 30 mins waiting but I told myself Itll be ok just wait. So I left before the Internet came on and just her my card info. I bought a table with chairs 2 weeks before New Years. The sales lady Nayri reassured me that my table + chairs will be at my house before New Years. They were supposed to bring my table on Tuesday the 22^nd which they did but they brought me a broken table that they couldn’t fixed so they said they’ll come back the next day on the 23^rd and fix it. They came back and told me they won’t be able to fix it and that I would have to call the company and complain. Which I did. So I was stuck with this broken table thru Christmas until Monday which was the 28. Let me just add in here I didn’t go to work Tuesday and Wednesday already because I had to stay at home and wait for them to come. And the rest of the week was Christmas Eve and so on so no work again. So Monday they told me they would be at my house after 4 so i would be able to go to work then come home and wait for them. Well that wasn’t the case. They called me at 1 saying we’re at your house open the door and I told them I’m at work you’re suppose to come after 4. The driver yelled at me and hung up. Then I called the customer service which sucks!!! And I spoke to jasper (manager) and told him what happened and he apologized and said he’ll send someone else tomorrow. So today is «tomorrow» they told me they would be here from 1 – 4 so I stayed home from work again and STILL NO SHOW. I called again they said oh I’m sorry they’ll be there from 6 – 9. Ok so basically I missed work for no reason again. Thank you very much. I’m so furious I don’t even want this table anymore. Please do yourself a favor and don’t buy furniture from here because either they won’t bring it or it’ll be broken. Me and my husband already called customer service 20 times. No one wants to help you– scratch that — THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO HELP YOU OR THEY JUST LIE TO YOU.
Oh new update guys. Now I’m not getting my table at all. Jasper lied to me «the manager of the business» told me they were coming yesterday on the 29 but now they can’t come until Saturday.

This company has only one goal mind which is to sell you something then forget about you no matter how much you spend. To start with, when they delivered my piece in a LA Furniture delivery truck and paid $ 100 for delivery, the driver asked for a tip before he got the furniture into the house. Once there, I found a crack inside one of the doors so I called Nema at the WH store and he said to send him a picture which I did immediately. I never heard from him again and it’s been a month I finally decided to call Nema again two weeks ago and he said he would check with whoever was to make the repair and I never heard from him again. In the meantime, Jasper from the main office sent me an email and said in the email to call him if I was not satisfied with my purchase which I did. I left Jasper a message to call me and he never called me back so it seems that their management problems are endemic. I sent an email to Jasper again and he responded by asking what I wanted. I told him I called him as he requested and to simply return my call so we can discuss my dissatisfaction. That was 2 weeks ago and I never heard from Jasper. I will never purchase anything from this store again. It’s hard to believe how anyone can run a company like this and treat customers (who spend a lot of money because their furniture is not cheap) like this and try to get away with it. I’ll keep trying to get my piece repaired but the whole thing is pretty disgusting so beware!

I bought a sofa set and coffee table for over 3K from this store on July 3^rd. The sofa set was floor model and coffee table is one we selected off the catalog. When we bought the sofa, my husband specifically asked about leather condition and were told by sales rep «it won’t crack or chip» since it is «Real leather» and that is guaranteed, but when we received the set, the love set has leather CRACKS on the side! Too bad it was discovered right after I signed the shipping document from them, then I immediately pointed it out to their shipping crew on the spot, they told me to call sales rep for resolution. On top of that, they told me the coffee table was not in stock (it was stock item when I purchased tho) so they will deliver in some other time!
My husband then contacted their sales and claim department for the leather issue, after 2 weeks and dozen email back and forth, basically the answer we got is since it was floor model, it was OUR responsibility to make sure the commodity is good when we received it, and they offered 50 $ discount for that. On top of it, we still haven’t received our coffee table at that point. They told us it is not available and asked if we want an exchange or refund. At that point we were fed up with this company and demanded refund. GUESS WHAT? WE HAVEN“T RECEIVED OUR REFUND and $ 50 AS OF TODAY ⁰⁹⁄₀₅ ! IT HAS BEEN 2 MONTHS! Those guys are so good at not responding to emails, and making up stories saying we were contacted by sales rep (actually no at all). My husband have been trying to communicate with their claim manager Mike all these time but only reply he got is «I will look into it with my accounting department».
Such a shady company should not be in business period! If you want to buy crapy defective product and not being able to get your refund for SOMETHING THEY DO NOT DELIVER, then it is your place. IF not, look elsewhere, any furniture store should be better than this!
I probably need a lawyer now

I had a super quick response from LA Furniture store after posting this review on Unilocal.I strongly recommend you guys to spend same amount of time to respond your work emails and voicemails as well. And Just for your information, WE STILL HAVEN’T NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND ON OUR PAYMENT CREDIT CARD, please specify what method you «refunded» us and I would love to update the review when I actually see it.
Anyhow, I don’t believe it should take 2 months to issue a refund for something that you out of stock. our The coffee table was promised to be delivered the next week of purchase, but it wasn’t and it took another 10 days for you guys to tell us what happened. Really?!
Here comes my explanation. We were not aware of the scratch on the side of the love seat. I do not want to get into any more «he said she said» arguments, all I want now is get my refund and get over with you.

I had a very enjoyable shopping experience with L.A. Furniture form start to finish. Their selection is great and their prices are competitive. Nima was wonderful.
The installers were efficient and gave me a 3 hour delivery window, checking in along the way. Everyone with whom I dealt in this company was courteous, helpful and professional. Would definitely buy here again.

I have been trying for 3 months to order a replacement part for my $ 2,000 dollar bed. I have sent over 20 emails and called countless times. No one owns up to their responsibilities and will not respond to emails or calls. I am trying to order the glass shelf for my bedframe. Very poor service

GREAT!!! Affordable luxurious pieces and wonderful customer service. Rina was very helpful. I will definitely be back for more. A rare find amidst the generic ‘everybody has that couch’ market. I recommend it to anyone who’s searched high and low for something NOBODY has.

LA Furniture did come thru.
But it wasn’t easy. After assembling the bed they found out they were missing a part for the integrated nightstand. So we scheduled another session and everything is good.
In retrospect I think the dispatch department needs to be more accessible. I would call back the toll free number at the ext. provided and I’d go into an endless loop. Email would have been a preferred method of confirmation as I repeatedly pressed for AM delivery times which somehow would be changed to PM on the telephone confirmation the day before.

Drove up from West LA on a Saturday to see a specific sofa advertised on the website. Arrived at 632pm and went in as the door was open. The «gentleman» behind the counter informed us that he was closed. I mentioned that the website showed a 7pm closing time, however he reiterated that they closed at 630 on Saturday, and that he was about to leave. We wanted to ask a few questions about a $ 4000 sofa that we intended to purchase, however, he angrily told us to get out or he would call security. We will not be going back. Btw, relatively few items are actually on display — many are viewable in a catalog, which we were not allowed to review.

Dear Mr. Daniel —
Please check the camera above the entrance door. You will clearly see him coming at me with his fists clearly ready to punch but later backs down. I understand you need to protect your store «manager». When I select an item I want from a showroom, I do not ask for an item number thus, I can not review my invoice. Anyways, I am over this store and wont purchase anything again. Perhaps instead of writing me a paragraph of «what happen» you can discuss with your employees to not call customers asking why I purchased with Nima and not with him (Tony) and how Nima is stealing his «customers»… I have better things to do than to hear your store employees problems.

The salesperson Nima was very helpful and friendly. If you like modern, you are sure to find something you will love!

I went to the woodland hills showroom not knowing what to get at all, I went with my two little nieces and they are not the best to shop with. Nima, the store manager at the showroom was very helpful and patient. He helped me decorate my bedroom and now thanks to Nima and his taste and vision, I have the bedroom of my dreams. Can not wait to decorate the rest of the house with Nima!

After the not so pleasant experience with LA Furniture, NIMA (manager) took the time to call me and ask for what he and the company could have done better to serve me (customer).
I get calls from time to time asking for feedback on customer service from various differnt companies.
NIMA’s call was different. I would say that I’m a good judge of character when companies call just to get their rating up or hit some type of quota. NIMA was very sincere in his apology. Normally I would not give 4 stars after giving negative stars to a company, but NIMA (manager) went way out of his way to make things up for my bad experience.

Since I have bought from this location as well, The only star I can give to this place is because of Nima’s politeness and response with costumer. Also, he is the only one who tells you the accurate information about what you buy and when you can have them.
All other services including delivery, costumer service, information, Art’s behavior with costumes’ needs are not accurate and impolite.
You won’t get the service and behavior you deserve where you spend your money.
They just have beautiful furniture. Don’t be fool by that, you can experience a real nightmare with their costumer service !! And get what you have ordered months away from what a sales person told you !

Sales people are nice, but worst delivery service ever. Purchased a sectional couch and a floor model table. Said they would deliver on Saturday. Took entire day off from work nobody ever called or showed up. When we called to find out what happened the «delivery people» said they called us and left message. We never received any call. We received no explanation and no offer to deliver for free or any compensation. So they offer to redeliver Wednesday. Meanwhile, I go in to the store during the week and my floor model table is still in the show room. Not wrapped and ready for delivery. Clearly an indication that Nobody was ever delivering that on Saturday and we were lied to. So we take Wednesday off to wait again. It’s now been 5 days with no couch in the living room. Takes them all day to finally arrive and 1 hour over the promised time. It’s nice furniture and decent prices, but if you feel like risking several days off work and constantly having to call yourself to follow up on your order status I would avoid. Other stores may be a little more expensive, but trust me ordering from here ain’t worth the headache. Nobody offered even $ 1 off anything for the trouble.

I purchased a modern leather couch from the companies website. I called the next day because there was a mix up in the credit card information. The lady on the phone realized I lived in Woodland Hills near one of their store locations. She recommended I come into the store and I would get an additional $ 130 off the purchase price. I felt this was exceptional customer service. The store employee was very nice and helpful. In addition my couch arrived 3 – 4 days later, much sooner than the estimated delivery date. I would highly recommend this company in the future.

The best sales person is definitely Nima!
So helpful and so polite.
