Dr. Eric Leser has been my optometrist for over 10 years. He is THE BEST!!! Always has a smile on his face, very friendly, always listens to your concerns and is willing to work hard to find a solution for you. My vision, both with contacts and glasses, has presented many challenges over the years for Dr. Leser. He takes it in stride and says that he likes the challenge and works relentlessly to find a solution to my needs and concerns. .. always with success, I might add.
I recently came down with severe conjunctivitis in both eyes. Went to my local Urgent Care, where they prescribed antibiotic eye drops. After using them for one day, my eyes were worse! (So bad that I couldn’t see well enough to drive!) I immediately called Dr. Leser’s office. He personally called me back! He listened to my symptoms, I told him what drops I was using and the reaction I was having. He determined that I was most likely having an allergic reaction. Dr. Leser prescribed a different, better antibiotic eye drop and within 6 hr. of using the new drops, my symptoms started to improve! Been on these new drops for about 30 hrs. now and the conjunctivitis is almost completely gone!
Dr. Leser and Dr. Leung are very professional, warm, & caring doctors. I would recommend them in a heart beat!

I woke up with great discomfort in my eye today, after an hour of home remedies and trying to get what ever was in my eye, I decided to check doctors in my network and found Dr. Leung. I called them and explained my emergency, and they took me right away. The staff and Dr. Leung were all very friendly and helpful. Even though it was my first time in, I noticed her professionalism. She is great!

I’ve been seeing Dr Leung for over 20 years now. She also takes good care of my daughter’s eyes as well.
Office moved from another location in Woodland Hills. It’s been so long, I don’t even remember where the old office was. The new office is modern and has great parking — plenty of spaces. The office also has a great selection of frames — from inexpensive to the designer brands.
Even though location is in the Valley — I’ve made the trek even in those years where I was on the Westside. Eye appointments are only once a year. It’s worth the haul for the 5 star service.
Never had any billing or insurance issues at this office — 5 stars just for that!

If you want someone who cares about you and your eyes, this is the place to go. It’s a family practice and you will get treated like family. Not only do your eyes get taken care of, the rest of you will as well. You will get all of your questions answered and not be hurried because the doctor is busy. You will find the best frames, highest quality, and latest fashion. You will get frames that fit and will be told if you pick out something that is not appropriate for your face or your prescription. If you have a budget, there are moderate priced frames to choose from.
Have you been told you can’t wear contacts but you want to wear contacts? Come here because if you can be fit, they will find the right lenses for you. Many people are told they can’t wear contacts only to find out the previous doctor just didn’t want to take the time.

I’ve only seen Dr. Leung, but she is a fantastic optometrist. She and her staff have always been understanding of my financial situation, and are always helpful in that regard. Whenever I get fitted for contacts I leave with more eyedrops than I could probably use in a year.
Vicki always greets me with a smile when I come in. She makes sure I know what my insurance covers and how much I’m paying for what contacts, since I prefer ones I can wear for long periods. Her exams are very thorough and she always follows up with her notes from my last visit.
Overall, an excellent team that I will always try to go to.

My husband and I just moved away from Woodland Hills and, sadly, won’t have Dr. Leung taking care of our eyes anymore. For more than ten years, she has been professional, friendly, and caring with us. We never had a bad experience with her in all those years. When I had a medical concern and called from out of town, she calmed my fears and patiently explained what was happening. When I had a medical concern in town on a day she wasn’t in the office, her husband saw me that same day and did the same. They are excellent doctors and really good people. My husband and I would recommend them without reservation.

Hands down THE WORST OPTOMETRIST I have ever been to. This tiny little office houses a husband and wife nightmare team. They are, by far, without a shadow of a doubt, the most condescending, upselling, rude and uncaring pieces of works I have ever had the unpleasure of dealing with.
I came here a while ago to get contact lenses. I was a new wearer at the time and didn’t want anything special, no frills, nothing. In fact, I even stated I just wanted to get a check up and a prescription. But Mrs. Leung just wasn’t having that. When I was done with my checkup and given a few samples of lenses so I could get used to them (mind you, the contact lenses were all expired) I was ready to walk out with my prescription in hand. I even mentioned how I couldn’t afford anything other than Costco and had made the mistake of thinking, being a new first time contact lens user and all, that Costco sold 2 90 day supply boxes for $ 45 but it was actually for one box. My bad. So I shared my mistake with Dr. Leung. And here’s how she responded: «Oh, no no NOO honey *enter condescending, childlike voice* If that’s how cheap they were, EVEN I would be buying my lenses from them». So she continued by writing out her prices, what my insurance would cover and looked up at me and I will never forget this remark, proceeded to say «Are you following?» in the most bitch tone I’ve ever heard as a customer. I wanted to punch her in her nose.
Another horror is that when I was being taught how to place the lenses in my eyes, 5 feet away from the reception area, about 3 people waiting there had front row view of watching this spectacle. I sure felt comfortable… NOT. But that’s not all…
My prescription was good for a year, and because I had already bought some lenses and don’t wear them every day, I went to Costco months later to use that said prescription. I wanted to save and buy a years’ supply through Costco’s bulk offerings but unfortunately their optician had to call Dr. Leung because there were several months left on my prescription’s expiration date, and so she just wanted to verify it would be alright to provide me with a years’ supply. And what do you think that stingy Dr. Leung responded with? NO! She effing said no… I would have to go back for another checkup for another prescription… Go Screw Yourself.

Dr. Eric Leser and Dr. Vicki Leung are not just office mates, they are family — husband and wife, that is! :)
From the moment you walk through their office doors, they make eye contact and acknowledge you, welcoming you. The office staff is always willing to work with you and find the best possible deal for your eyewear — contacts or glasses. I don’t know if there has been a time that I’ve walked out of the office without the doctors and their office staff spending a good 5 minutes looking at the plethora of rebate forms they have to see if my contact lens’ brand is in the stack.
I have VSP vision insurance, so everything is usually a breeze for me when it’s time to check out and leave. If you have the same, not to worry — they’ ll take good care of you.
Not sure about what pair of frames to get? Don’t worry… they’ll help you pick out the perfect pair (even if you can’t decide at that moment, they’ll make a note of everything you’ve tried on in your file… so you don’t have to rely on just your memory).
I’ve been coming into Dr. Leser and Dr. Leung’s office for about 12 years now… they truly LOVE what they do and show their passion for their job. They truly want what’s best for your eyes… and it shows.
