Just an old fashioned barber shop. Bob started cutting my hair years ago when they were across the street next to Lautrec, or Piacere, or whatever they’re called now, La Villa Restaurant. He’s always ready for me whenever I arrive for my appointment, which is often the same day or the next. His cuts are always excellent. I won’t go anywhere else.

I’ve been going to Steve for a year and have forced myself to just cool my jets because he is easy going and seems to get my style, but he has made me wait a minimum of 15 mins and as long as 30 mins, despite making an appointment every single time when I show up promptly. Obviously I am pretty patient since I’ve been in this routine for a year now and never once made any stink about it and still bother to be punctual. Today he took someone before me when I told him I had an appointment with him. I reminded him so but he stuttered and pretended like it was no big deal and took them anyway. I waited 25mins trying to Unilocal as I waited for an alternate barber before just leaving. What a joke and a horrible way to run business. Another instance: I tried to be loyal to him when another person in the same salon tried to book me for herself and I thought she was booking me with Steve– she called me at the time of the aptmt to tell me she was stuck at LAX and I realized what had happened and called to meet him instead. Ummm… THANKS! Don’t bother with this place.

I have been coming here for about 6 months now. I absolutely love this place! I have been searching for years for the perfect, close to home, reasonably priced, highest quality barber shop that I can feel comfortable and welcomed in. Bonni is a total joy and is the best I have ever found, however all the professionals at this establishment will not disappoint. When you enter, the warm and welcoming barbers make this feel like a throwback to the more old-fashioned barber shops. They value you, remember your name, and your past conversations. Definitely recommend.

Bonni is great! She take her time, she will wash your hair for free and give you a straight razor shave all for a reasonable price. Did I mention she cuts everything with scissors not a bowl and a shaver! Also, great conversationalist and personality!

I’ve been going to Lou for decades. He’s the best barber you’ll find in the city, hands down. He does a great job with hair, knows how to follow your tastes and directions, and has a great attention to detail. And, he can talk about pretty much any topic, with a fair bit of knowledge. All that, and he’s fairly inexpensive. What’s not to like? A good barber is hard to find, and Lou’s a good barber. Try him out, and I promise you won’t regret it.

Very nice energy as soon as you walk in. Everyone is friendly and Bonni paid attention to every detail… She didn’t rush the job at all. I would definitely coming back more often.

Ask for Lou. Tell him Frank’s wife sent you. Frank is Lou’s client for 30 years plus. He’s like family without the drama. A little off the back(there is no top)

I love this place. The guys are all very friendly, skilled, and charge a fair price. It’s a convenient location, and I’ve never been less than happy with my haircut afterward. I’ve been getting my hair cut here for 28 years and I’ll probably be going for another 28.
