Color By Miledy is by far the BEST hair stylist I’ve ever had and that is saying a lot! I am blonde and I don’t let a lot of people touch my hair after many bad experiences! In fact, I used to drive 8 hours for someone to do my hair. Being relatively new to the California area, I did my research and had to kiss a couple frogs until I found the one! My hair has never looked so good! Not only does she give me exactly what I ask for, but she is full of information and I’ve learned so much from her in regards to the care of my hair! I highly recommend her! SHE IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

Mileydy has been doing my hair for a while now and I won’t go to anyone else! She’s amazing. She loves what she does and she’s good at it! I had her do my Balayage and it turned out perfect. She’s the Balayage expert!

I have been going to Mileydy for yeasr now. No one else is allowed to touch my hair. She does amazing color, taking me from blonde, to brunette, to auburn! She has done my updo’s for events, cut my hair into a more manageable state for when I entered my masters program and wouldn’t have the time for upkeep. She knows how to make me look fabulous but keep a low maintenance style. Her braids are also phenomenal. My whole family goes to Mileydy and will continue to do so.
I always look forward to getting my hair done, just because she is such a great stylist and conversationalist. Alisha, who has become a great acquaintance also, makes the salon such a treat! The combo os these two stylists always leaves me laughing. Alisha always keeps the salon stocked with everything you may want, wine, soda, sparkling water, juice, snacks. Not to mention the TV hooked up to Netflix to allow you to enjoy a RomCom, or binge watch on a TV show. Going to this salon is equatable to going to the spa! Whenever I need anything done, whether it be hair or makeup, Mileydy is my go to!

I love this lady! I have been looking for someone who understands fine, blonde hair and how to color so it looks natural and dimensional… and then I found Mileyde. Search = Over.

Mileydy is an amazing hair stylist! She has been in charge of my hair for quite a while and I am very happy with the results. When she first started working with my blondish hair it was in a pretty bad shape… She can work miracles with blending colors and restoring your bleached damaged hair into something beautiful and healthy. I did get a super trendy long bob haircut from her as well and I love it! She also has great recommendations on products to use and overall just how to choose a fresh new hairstyle. The salon has a great vibe and is always fun to visit too. My hair is now healthy beautiful and the color looks all natural. I am so lucky to have found her.

Mileydy has been doing my color and cut for two years. She is incredible!!! She is a color expert and great at doing Balayage. She has totally transformed my hair. It is healthy and the color is gorgeous! Not only is she highly skilled, but she is one of the sweetest and fun people to spend time with!!!

I had gone to Butterfly Loft Salon for a balayage and they ended up giving me a very harsh looking bleached hair. I came in to see Mileydy and she has started me on the road to color correction. It’s my first time coming in and I already love what she has done to my hair.

Mileydy is an amazing colorist! Have been going to her for the past couple times for balayage and I love my hair every time. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for natural, beautiful highlights!

Mileydy is fabulous! I have been seeing her for over a year now and my hair has never looked better or been healthier. She really cares about her clients and seeks what is best for them!

Mileydy is amazing! She really knows how to work with my hair (Asian thick and a little frizzy). She really cares about keeping your hair healthy but still being able to attain the color of hair you want. I went from black hair, to nice chocolate brown balayage with a hint of blonde highlights. Even after a 3 hour process, my hair was even healthier than when I came in! I would definitely recommend her! And for you Asians who have a hard time getting lighter colors to stick, she’s the girl for you!
UPDATE: I came in for a second color a few weeks later because I wanted to go lighter for my birthday, and she did just that! (I don’t have an updated photo, but it was a beautiful golden brown) mileydy really cares about the health of your hair and the quality of the products she puts in it. I’m coming back for a third time soon! I definitely want to keep going lighter :)

I know I’m just repeating what everyone else is saying, but I have to when it’s the truth — MILEYDY IS AMAZING!
I first found her via Instagram when she was at a previous salon. Finding a great, affordable hair stylist in LA is not easy — all of you LA girls can attest to this. The photos of her work on her Instagram drew me in and I was able to get my hair done and still afford to eat — win!
On my first visit (again, at her previous salon), I had called on a Sunday morning to get an appointment for a haircut and re-​do on my ombré/​balayage. The person I spoke with booked me an appointment for the next day, which was more than OK, but I got a call back about 30 minutes later saying that Mileydy was willing to come in that same day and take care of me — score! She walked me through all the products she was using and everything she did and I left the salon with an AMAZING balayage fix to a previous ombré gone wrong.
A few months later, Mileydy moved to Alisha Bertone Salon. Mileydy and Alisha rent out a small, 2-​chair room, from a larger salon building. I love being in a smaller, more secluded space — makes the atmosphere more casual and friendly. Again, Mileydy worked her wonders on my hair for a balayage touch-​up, and added some blonde in, just in all the right places. My natural hair is dark brown, but Mileydy knows exactly what color to use and where to place it to blend best with my natural color — she won’t steer you wrong. On top of that, she cares about the health of your hair and suggests products (Olaplex, yes!) to keep your hair from breaking as a result of the lightening. I have since moved out of the LA area, but still am back frequently for work and continue to see Mileydy for my color — I’m scared to let anyone else touch my hair; that should say something!

Mileydy is phenomenal. I absolutely love her. Just a heads up, she’s great with color if you’re looking to change up your look a bit. she is a balayage expert everyone!!! There are not enough stars to give Mileydy. I have been having Mileydy dye my hair for about a year now and I have never been happier. I’ve struggled to find a hairstylist/​colorist who truly new what they were doing and had a passion for it. Ever since going to Mileydy, my hair has never been healthier and my color is super vibrant for months on end (for reference, I get my hair dyed red). In addition, I get the Keratin smoothing treatment every few months and its restored my hair.
Bottom line: Go to Mileydy! You won’t regret it. She’s extremely knowledgable and skilled. What more could you ask for it?

Mileydy listened, gave me my options (I had an unfortunate experience with a new colorist) and I walked away feeling amazing! Mileydy specializes in color from all the new color techniques, color correction to basic hair color and gray coverage (I had a little bit of it all). Mileydy is amazing! I’ve been coming to her for a year and a half and I will never stray! Her attention to detail and overall work is absolutely beautiful. I found Mileydy on Instagram @colorbymileydy. She’s a color specialist/​balayage expert and is VERY knowledgable. She was very detailed and thorough throughout my appointment, and was able to listen to what I wanted, while also offering her professional opinion of what she thought would look best. If you have dark hair and want to lighten it without becoming brassy or orange you will love her! She gave me beautiful golden ashy highlights

I have black Asian hair and wanted to go lighter — she did a fabulous job, it looks very natural and the colours blend into each other very smoothly. She gave me a bomb haircut too! I just wish I lived in LA so that I could keep coming to her!

I absolutely love this place. I called in early yesterday morning after finding this place on Unilocal.I had searched for Asian frizzy hair and mileydy came up as the go to person. She managed to fit me in to her busy schedule. This place is located in a busy plaza under the name of regency studios. They are suite number 1– as they should be! Mileydy was extremely sweet the whole time and so patient! She asked about usual hairstyles and my workplace environment so she could keep it practical and appropriate for me. She then spent a good amount of time as she worked just explaining proper hair care and specific products that would benefit my type of hair– which is really bad frizzy thick Asian hair. And she was also mindful of cost as she suggested products that would benefit me– which is a plus!
All the previous stylists I had that would blow dry my hair gave up as soon as they saw how frizzy it would get but she spent an hour taming my mane– and gave suggestions for drying it and how to avoid frizz even without a blow dryer.
Mileydy was so helpful and my hair has never felt healthier or looked better. She is definitely my go to now.
If you have bad frizzy and thick Asian hair and are close to giving up like I was– Definitely go to mileydy she knows what to do!!!

I just went today once again and left super satisfied once more! She is so friendly and sweet. When she’s cutting your hair you feel like a friend is cutting your hair (one that’s really good at what she does). If she moves locations I would follow– I already drive half an hour to go see her and I would drive an hour. So worth it!

So glad to have found Mileydy! She also has reviews on Alisha Bertone Salon Unilocal page but she has her own chair there and I feel like she deserves her own Unilocal page.
Initially, I was just looking for someone for my daughter. I was «comfortable» where I was currently getting my hair done. I’m also really picky. When I say I’m picky with my hair, I AM PICKY! I don’t just let anyone touch my hair. I have been to very popular, sought after stylists in salons in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Some of the stylists I’ve been to have huge wait lists and some no longer even accept new clients. I’ve been there, done that. It’s NOT the end of the world if u can’t get an appointment w them. Trust me. Actually, see it as a blessing bc now u can book w Mileydy!
I booked my daughter for a haircut. Mileydy was very helpful and informative. She educated my daughter on the cut she was giving her, maintenance, styling, and products. She was great and my daughter was at ease and really enjoyed her haircut.
As luck would have it, Mileydy and I started talking about my hair. I wasn’t thrilled with my grown out cut or my old faded color. She was honest, upfront, and very realistic with my hair goals. I’m a huge fan of ashy tones and hate any orange/​warm tones. She knew exactly what I was talking about, talked to me about the process and showed me examples of her work on her IG page. I was SOLD! Her work was amazing and I couldn’t wait to get in her chair!
I was able to get an appointment the next day. She took her time and gave me the best haircut. She will cut what u want her to cut. She will listen to your wishes and deliver 100%! She loves what she does and it shows in her work.
She also toned my old faded dull hair color to the exact color that I wanted. I honestly couldn’t be happier and I’m so excited to have found her!
She’s accessible, down to earth, and has great customer service. She will never make u feel like you’re just a number. She will spend the time needed to ensure you leave 100% satisfied.
I’m looking forward to all my future appointments with her! She’s a gem :)
