Citibank

I’ve been both a personal & business customer here for over a year now, and it’s extremely impressive that most of their staff knows me by name! I’ve probably been a customer of every bank out there at some point in time, but there’s no question that doing business with this Citi branch has been the best experience, time & time again! I hope that upper management sees this honest feedback, and gives these hard working people here a raise… Especially since I heard they cut back on employees recently. Thanks again for your continued amazing service here, I will definitely stay a client and recommend my friends in the future as well! :)

Clean interior with friendly staff. Love that it’s across from my other bank (Chase) and that it’s around a convienant shopping area.

Not my favorite location, I wasn’t greeted when I walked in and there was no one at the Citibusiness window so I had to stand in the other line just to make a withdrawal from my business account. Other than that, the teller was nice and they took care of my needs. Maybe it’s just me, but when I see people walking around behind the windows when there are 10 people in line, I get a little annoyed — either don’t walk around looking like you are doing nothing in front of customers — or help the customers.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
So pissed off about the cold call phone call that I just received from this office offering to assist in refinancing my home mortgage. Since I’m underwater, and have been calling Citimortgage for 6 months trying to negotiate a refinance, I thought to myself…“finally! they are going to do the right thing for a loyal, responsible homeowner and customer.“
Wrong.
After I agreed to hear them out, they basically then proceeded to tell me that they can’t help me, but if I write them a check for $X-​six-​figures, they can lower my interest rate which will save me $ 900 per month. When I challenged her on the financial logic behind doing this, she told me that it’s a great investment on my money since I’ll be making back $ 900 per month. Really? So I pay YOU let’s say $ 100,000 now, so I can «save» $ 900 per month on the other revenue that I’m already creating for you? And then potentially never get that $ 100,000 «investment» (as you liked to call it) back? Me thinks not. Go f*ck yourself and your stupid math.
You are in mortgage sales. I get that, and that’s fine by me. It’s your job to sell me and make a commission. but let’s be real. You don’t care about homeowners and you obviously suck at financial planning and math. you just came off as the most sleazy salesperson… living right up the stereotype of all banks in this country. The second I get the chance to drop Citibank, it’s on.
