Been with John for 11 years and have had a great experience with him. He always patiently answers all of my questions via email, provides competitive rates, and outstanding customer service. I always feel like I’m having a personalized experience when dealing with him. Great company to work with!

I am currently a Totem Lake Insurance client who recently returned as a client. And boy am I glad to be back as his client. I really missed his service. (I briefly left to help an old college friend was building his business with a competitor).

What’s more! My recent claim was resolved in one day from submission of the paperwork. I was shocked at how efficient and supportive Safeco (with John’s help) was at resolving my issue.
Like I said, I’m so glad to be back with Totem Lake Insurance. I agree with Beauty J. John really does deserve six stars.

If you need a conscientious insurance agent with years of experience, you need to talk to John. He’s been our agent since the early 90’s and has handled 100% of our insurance needs for many autos and properties, The guy answers his own phone, for Pete’s sake. Example: I was in accident in the rain in rush hour 1500 miles away from home on the afternoon of my mother’s death. I was a mess. It was John’s calm voice on the phone when I called from the side of the road that got me through it. You need to call this guy.

I have used John Prentice for about 20 years and he has seen me and my family through many changes in circumstances, including teen drivers, multiple home purchases, autos and recently insuring rental properties. He has consistently worked hard to provide us with the best possible coverage at the most affordable rate. He is also very easy to talk to and usually pretty responsive to any call/​emails.
