Ross Dress for Less

It was really nice to walk into a Ross that was organized the staff was knowledgeable and nice! Pleasant surprise!

I absolutely love this Ross! It’s super clean which most Ross stores aren’t and it’s well organized. The people who work here are really friendly too. They always say hi when you walk in.

This store and company treat their customers like criminals — there’s a guy in black with «SECURITY» on his vest as you walk in, the carts have a tall pole so you can’t wheel your purchases out to the car, and the best part is when you go to the dressing room they make you hang your item on their post so they can go through it to make sure you’re not stealing something. I know the cost may be low for some of their items, but the value is not worth being treated this way. Ross won’t be getting any more of my money.

So upset with my last visit.
I’ve been here countless times and had fairly good finds. Often times I don’t find anything, sometimes I find something great. It’s a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ when I walk in the door.
I usually Unilocal when I’ve had a really bad experience so here I am again. The customer service SUCKS! The cashiers annoyingly yell across the store when you walk in the door. And when they are checking you out they are the most socially awkward and quiet cashiers I’ve ever experienced. Not to mention I don’t understand why they can just hand you your reciept???
And THE LINES ARE THE WORST. They take into no consideration who has been waiting for how long as they choose what line they ring people up from. 3 people from the returns line were rung up before my mom and I finally stepped up– and oh wait. This brunette on the heavier side sent us back because when we walked across and put our items down on the table– because, oh she called someone from the other line. again. Like you HAD to go out of your way to send us back to line when we’d been waiting there literally 15 minutes watching everyone else get checked out.
Then some really pretty blonde customer spoke up asking why they send us back and I was like apparently it’s not our turn still and she was yelling to the cashiers about how the lines were all messed up cause the signs were pointing all different directions and she’d unknowingly been waiting in the wrong line as well.
God this Ross sucks. I’ve been to many more that are WAY better and the employees are awesome and actually know how to start a conversation– as well as the finds. I hope the cashier trying to make it seem like WE were rude in front of everyone just cause we were trying to get rung up and not wait around all day was the highlight of that …‘s life.
I always forget… There’s a reason these people work at Ross.

It was one of the worst customer service i had in recent times. I went to the store to buy something and I had to wait for almost 20 minutes in the line with just 1 person ahead of me.
The attendant on job was downright rude. I had a coupon from an earlier return and when i tried to offer it for a purchase and tried to explain more, she simply said that she «knows her job and does not need anyone to tell her how to do it».
I was not even arguing and her voice just kept raising.
With such an attitude, this store would lose customers pretty soon.

Customer service is horrible and the store is crazy disorganized! I stopped going there when they had the security wanna-​be guy standing by the front door eyeballing everyone like they were a guilty shoplifter! What is up with the stupid carts that have the ridiculous ten foot bar on the side so people can’t take the carts out… they don’t sell gold bars… they sell junky merchandise… they need to stop taking themselves so serious!!!

Same complaints as previous review, but let’s tack on that one of the cashiers was apparently hypnotized by the tattoo on my chest a little while ago. Her eyes never broke contact with it throughout our entire (nearly silent) interaction. She was talking to IT, not me. Hello, my face is actually up here. Pretty sure it was a religion thing, since it’s a pentagram and she wore 1 – 2 crucifixes. Super uncomfortable and unprofessional, but on par with what I’ve come to expect.
That, and they *REALLY* need to make the returns and checkouts lines waaaay more defined, because I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s been told to swap lines multiple times. Recently though, I think they’ve either given up on the whole thing or made them both checkout/​return hybrids. Literally no way to tell.
Their ‘now hiring’ sign has been out for well over a year now. I’m at a complete loss as to why.

Large selection of clothes and household goods. Store is well organized. Best prices in town. I can always find something in my size.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Ross. Just not this one. It’s super picked through, as if they never feel the need to restock the racks. On top of that, they have different sizes scattered all over the place where they don’t belong. Not cool, Ross, not cool.

This Ross store is huge, but merchandise is sparse. Not much of a selection, well, I guess they have a lot of clothes. I’ve been to other Ross stores that have lots of housewares, which is what I came for today. This one, not so much.
So, if you need clothes, great. If you want other things, better luck somewhere else.

I never really find anything good to buy for myself, however, my mom and sister almost always manage to find something worth purchasing.
Kudos for always keeping the store very clean and organized.

If this Ross is the best Ross on the Eastside, I’d hate to see what the others look like. This one is almost bare. While it’s fairly clean and well-​organized, most of the shelves have very little on them and I rarely find much to buy (whereas at other Ross stores, I can usually spend at least $ 50 a visit). When checking out the employees aren’t usually very friendly either.
I should add that I LOVE ROSS in general. Discovered them 7 – 8 years ago in South Carolina and have been a fan ever since, but the ones here in Washington and this one in particular aren’t nearly as great as the Ross stores I knew in the South.

Still not impressed. The attitudes of the employees, particularly the management suck and they don’t seemed concerned about making sales. Asked for 10% off an item because the box was super damaged and the manager didn’t even pause before shaking her head no at the employee. Because of her attitude, I opted to not buy the item. Still spent $ 80 on that purchase, so 10% off would’ve been like $ 2 off of a $ 100 purchase. Alas, it may be the last $ 80 I spend at this Ross.

My daughter bought a bra (along with about $ 200 in other merchandise) with a gift card she got for Christmas.
They yelled at her when she attempted to try it on at the store.
The tags were attached to the actual clasps, making it impossible to put on without removing the tags.
The underwire *snapped* at center cup (not the typical armpit slide out) the first time she wore it and literally gouged her teenage boob. A girl’s first breast-​related trauma should NOT be at 15 and caused by a BRA.
Because the tag was removed, they refused to return, exchange or give any credit at all. The receipt has policy on the back, extraordinarily misleading, as the tag rule is listed under the fine jewelry paragraph only.
The were rude when she was shopping there, rude when she returned with their shoddy merchandise.
Nothing offered here is also even remotely worth that.

Men — Dont even bother. The clothes selection is worse than nil you are better off shopping at Macy’s and hitting the discount racks. Actually I think the Value VIllage in Redmond has a better selection of clothing and its cheaper… what can I say besides eating and golfing I have a hobby farm, so farm clothes need to be cheap.

I made a first time visit to the Woodinville Store. I selected a package of socks to purchase and proceeded to the cash register. There were no cashiers around, and no one to ask about rounding one up. After a few minutes, I heard an announcement over the PA asking for a cashier. By this time, there were several people behind me in line. It was a full five minutes before a cashier showed up. He smiled at the SECOND person in line and offered to ring her up. HELLO??? When I stepped up and said I had been first in line, he gave me a dirty look, but grudgingly rang me up. HUH??? First of all, why were there no cashiers, and why did it take so long to get one. Secondly, what is up with asking the SECOND person in line to step up? I won’t be back. I’ll go to TJ Maxx next time.

BEST ROSS ON THE EASTSIDE — HANDS DOWN. PERIOD.
I don’t come here to buy clothes. I come here for home décor, kitchen stuff and sometimes accessories. I never leave this place empty handed.
One time I SCORED and got this AWESOME painting, framed and saw it a couple weeks later hanging in Bed Bath and Beyond. There was nothing wrong with it and it looks awesome in my apartment, always lots of compliments.
I have also found Le Crueset and Caphlon brand pots and pans that are in perfect condition!
Last night I got this awesome ‘Satchel’ that is leather, tan, cross-​body style and then converts into a backpack! PERFECT for my Hawaii trip. These cross body pages were going for over $ 200 (depending on the brand) in the department stores.

New = clean. I hope it stays that way, unlike its other trashy counterparts. When I browse around Ross it’s difficult to find a true treasure. Typical stores are filled with so many unwanted items. This store has the obligatory loss prevention guy standing in front; he seems friendly in a non-​creepy way, greeting people as they enter and exit. The store is huge, but has little selection. Time will tell if their stock will turnover quickly, adding newer current styles (perhaps the reason why the lack of selection aforementioned) or if merchandise will sit on the shelves accumulating forgotten fashions from seasons past.

although the store was clean the customer service was awful. talked down to us like we were children. didnt give us our change. instead of helping us having personal conversations with coworkers. i wont go back

I’ve been to 10 million Ross stores and this one is pretty nice… it doesn’t have that ghetto feel that many Ross’ have.
This is probably one of the largest of their stores that I’ve been in, it was pretty spacious. They are out of a lot of merchandise, the shelves were kinda barren, but I assume that is because they’ve been totally mobbed.
I tried to take a sweater back the other day but the line was like 30 people deep and no separate return line so I left. I am sure it will die down in a few weeks after the initial excitement wears off.
The employees were nice enough for retail, and didn’t seem to hate their job which is usually the attitude you get when at Ross. So I guess, so far so good.

Ross is finally open. Store is nice and clean. I hope it stay this way for a while.
