Play It Again Sports

I was treated very insensitively at this store by the owner and two employees. The owner, Rick, laughed in my face and called me «ridiculous». The other workers, Alex and Travis both mocked me after my inquiries. The story is this: I was told by one worker, Mark, on a Friday that I could try out a jacket and return within 30 days. I tried it once, it didn’t fit well, I brought it back Sunday and then was laughed at by the owner and employees and told I must be a liar because Mark would never have told me that. The point of the story is not that they wouldn’t return the jacket, it is to show how awful I felt leaving this place, and how these men managed to put a 25 year old girl in tears not once, but twice. This is the first review I have ever written in my life and it is just to tell others that I felt the people who work here, particularly the owner, were disturbingly mean from what I experienced.

I went in to look for a used bike and the staff was only moderately helpful. They kind of answered questions about bikes and showed no interest in actually working with me. An assistant manager also lied about the place next door selling used bikes by saying they only sold new ones.

Stopped by for a foam roller (or 2).
They had a very limited selection: only 2. There was only one other person there and he was engaged in a long conversation with someone else.
So I left.
The one part of me was happy they even had any but I really wanted to see more of a selection.
I thought foam rollers are as essential as rubber bands, but perhaps my expectations are misplaced at this type of store.
In any case, it would have been nice to have had some one who was available.

Love the selection in this store as well as the staff. Everything you need for a sport would be in this store, and for a good price too! Definitely liked the option of used or new sporting equipment depending on the item. The man behind the desk was eager to help me out with whatever I needed and was genuine about it. This is the place to go for sporting goods!

I was under the impression this business sold just used sporting goods. That is not the case, and the vast majority if their merchandise is new.
I went in to look at bicycles and ended up making a purchase I’m very pleased with. The customer service here is excellent, and the staff is knowledgable and adds a lot of value to the shopping experience –I learned a lot by speaking with staff, and also they throw in extras like discounts on bicycle accessories and free tune ups and flat time support.
This place has great prices, a large product selection, and excellent customer service. Also, it should be noted that they don’t upsell you, and they work with your stated goals and budget in mind. Kudos to the two individuals who helped me on my bike purchase, they were both very friendly and helpful.

Have you noticed lately that customer service is disappearing in this country faster than a pack of smokes at an AA meeting?
I either get the «I don’t know» guy or the «that’s not my job guy”-perhaps you work with them? Thankfully they do not seem to work here. After getting nowhere. Trying to get a critical part for my new bike that was missing (but shouldn’t have been), they not only helped me out, when no one else could-​but the price was reasonable. They also put air in my tires and noticed and repaired an assembly error at no charge. I will definitely be coming back.

I rented a snowboard, bindings, and boots. $ 35 for the day (no charge for pick up day). The staff is suuuper friendly, funny, and helpful. I was in and out, super quick. Their price is a little cheaper than some other prices in the area. I’m glad I got my stuff from here. Looks like they gots tons of other things to rent for all kinds of sports. I might buy my gear here if I ever commit to snowboarding :)
