This place is awesome! Dr. Brown is the best. The front desk staff are so kind and friendly. I have taken my Shiba Inu Mango here twice and they have gotten us in and out in a great amount of time. My dog doesn’t even seem to be bothered by coming here either. The place doesn’t have the typical vet «stink» that most offices do. Kudos to the cleaning staff as well. I recommend people here all the time. Thank you for all that you do!

The front desk staff is super friendly, and gets you checked in and out super quickly. The vets are no bull, very compassionate, and extremely good. If you’re looking for a new vet, just like a new doctor for yourself, it’s worth doing a consultation to meet the staff and read reviews.

My newly adopted rescue dog was treated with expertise, kindness and compassion by Dr. Matson at Hollywood Hill Animal Hospital. Just before he came to live with me, we discovered Baxter had his jaw fractured earlier in life. The doctor came up with a treatment plan to relieve his pain and restore his eating ease. When the time came to pick him up after surgery, Dr. Matson came out to discuss the procedure and his nurse spent time going over discharge information. I could tell that they really enjoyed healing pets and loved the fact that they called my doggy «Sir»!
Their respect and care for my new doggy is very much appreciated.

It is my first time with a greyhound dog and first time at this vet’s office. I was refer from my daughter since she has a greyhound as well and she said this office was good .well my daughter was right the staff is great and the doctor is great .this office is friendly to people and to the pets and I will be taking my greyhound forever. GREAT PLACE

I drive past several veterinary clinics to come here. Years ago Dr. Matson was my cat’s vet, Dr. Carolyn has been too, but over the past decade Dr. Kristen has been awesome! Staff is terrific (I love Kelsey’s sing song voice when she answers the phone) — Dr. Kristen Brown, knows my 3 cats by name and by sight, my mom’s companion «Joey», and my sister’s kitty «Slider». The staff and docs work as a team and I trust them all, they have always included me in any decisions, (cost vs benefit), played with the cats when they were boarded there — and 100% available to answer questions and provide unusual solutions — (one of my cats began urinating all over the house, when we were at our wits end, Dr. Kristen suggested «Prozac» — I wasn’t sure if it was for me or my animal — turns out the cat doesn’t mid the pill and has almost completely stopped peeing outside the box. LOVE this place!

Our dog loves going to «His Doctor». He knew exactly what I was talking about, before we took off to get his annual exam today. And… today was only the third time he was going there. This in it self speaks volumes of how well they care for him. Compassionate, friendly, patient and, every one of my questions are always thoroughly answered. Thank you for your great service again, Dr. Brown!

We have been brining our pet Shih Tzu (Bella) here since we first got her five years ago. They have always been very caring and helpful. Recently she was treated for a hot spot. When VPI (pet insurance) denied the claims (pre-​existing condition they said), Dr. Brown jumped in to review Bella’s records, and faxed them to VPI. She also spent considerable time on the phone with VPI to help resolve our issues. This was above and beyond for a veterinary doctor and was very much appreciated. We don’t have an answer yet from VPI but regardless of the outcome, Dr. Brown’s efforts were very much appreciated.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOUR DOG OR CATS LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. YOU ARE BETTER OFF LETTING YOUR ANIMAL DIE.
This place is so terrible. I took my do in for a procedure. The do not provide crucial information, and do give accurate estimates. My animal was violently ill for three days due to the crucial information that the staff and the doctor did NOT provide to me. I called them the day after because my animal was so sick and the doctor told me «take him to the vet». They caused my animal to be sick due to information that the staff dis not provide to me and wouldn’t even take any action to fix the situation in any way shape or form. The lack of respect and professionalism is beyond words.
Please do not take your animal here for the sake of your furry little friend.

A veterinarian’s job is to provide knowledge and care — not commentary. I brought my English Bulldog puppy here for first check up, shots, etc. Here I was, gleefully caring for my «Dream Dog» (you know, the one you’ve wanted your whole life?) and «Dr. B» I will call her, offers up an assortment of snide comments like «I don’t know why people like these dogs, they have so many problems». This style of commentary peppered the entire examination. If her goal was to make a customer feel horrible; it worked. I returned once more for the final series of shots since I did not want to interrupt my dog’s care.
Her snarky attitude was actually a GIFT because my search for a new vet (to continue my dog’s routine care) brought me to Dr. Terry Beatty at Animal Surgery & Care Center, Lynnwood. (see review)
Another gift: I didn’t have to continue to pay their upscale fees for basic services.

These people love your pet as much as you do. Really. I trust the doctors and the staff at Hollywood Hill to do the right thing every time. They have heart and they remember the names of my pets when I show up with them. The are also very reasonable in prices (it cost me $ 500 less to get my dog’s teeth cleaned than my friend JD at her vet and my dog is 65 lbs bigger than her dog). I now live about 45 minutes drive away from this vet but I still take my furry children there. They also offer boarding.
