I never posted about the carpet installation which had been done over a year ago. Travis came out and measured and gave a competitive quote on our Dining, Family, Living room, hallway and stairwell. It was perfect except one tiny area next to the fireplace tile, where they’d returned (promptly) and corrected it. Very happy customers here!
They also installed new vinyl in our kitchen and pantry. They also had extra work to do because of the crawl space floor door located in the pantry. They placed vinyl over the old vinyl which they made lay completely flat and perfect. They have ways to seal down the old flooring before installing the new. Love their work!

Wow. I am so impressed with this company. We had a very difficult patch area that was made more difficult because out contractor cut our carpet away so he could install a new door. The cutout was large and uneven and we were doubtful that it could be made to look whole again! But Haight’s installers did it and it looks fantastic. We’ve used this company for several installs and its always top notch. They offer a price match guarantee as well. What else can I say?

They came out immediately to provide measurements (which are kept on file) and suggestions for carpet and kitchen flooring. Installation was done on time and everything was ready to move in when promised.
Also provided great recommendations for carpet and pad to use on a carpet replacement for a boat that I had just purchased.

I went in this morning only to pick up some tile for my company, never needed carpet or tile before personally. But if I need it these guys are the first ones I will think of, everyone is so friendly and helpful. The woman at the front (who was extremely friendly and helpful) didn’t know where the tiles were that I was picking up but went out of her way and did some digging to find out they were in the warehouse.
So I went to the back and usually when you go behind the scenes of places you think of grimy dirty place with rude workers that aren’t very social. But here was the opposite! It was so clean and well kept and ALL of their employees greeted me with smiles and acknowledged me. There was a younger blonde guy (his name has slipped me that noticed me that stopped what he was doing to help me and made me feel important. He showed me where my box of tile was and made sure everything was taken care of before I left. You guys obviously know what you’re doing and have a great system and staff!
I was very pleased with my visit!

I went into the store last Wednesday in a hurry to have carpet installed before my baby shower this Sunday. They had someone out to take measurements the same day, my carpet was just installed today, and it looks amazing. Ruth in the showroom was an absolute pleasure to work with. I explained what I was looking for and she helped me pick out the perfect carpet and expedited everything for my short time frame. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family and they will definitely be doing any flooring projects in our future.

Based on our previous excellent experience with Haight for installing carpet in our condo, we decided to go with them again on replacing the carpet with hardwood in our new townhouse. We have received several bids from several companies, but decided to stick with Haight even thought their bid is not the lowest. The ordering process was very smooth and the floors were delivered on time. The price per square foot was also competitive. However, that was where the good experience ended.
Here are the problems that we encountered with Haight:
1. After the installer surveyed our home, he told us that in order to properly install the floors and have the floor warrantied, they have to change the installation method, which resulted in a couple extra thousand dollars of expenses on materials.
2. They initially quoted 2 days of work to complete the installation. However, it took them 3.5 days to finish the job. They asked me if they could come start the job a day early to which I said yes, but they didn’t show up until after 2pm the first day on site. They didn’t even start removing the existing hardwood until well into the evening (I left at 10pm that night and the solo person is still cutting out the old hardwood. Let’s say time management is not their strong point.
3. When they finally finished the job at 10pm on the 4^th day, our house was left in such a mess. ALL THREE FLOORS of our town house were covered in saw dust from them cutting out the old hardwood floors in the landing. They have made ZERO effort to try to contain their mess. It took me and my wife another 3 – 4 days to clean up after their mess. There were glue residue on the new floor. Some of the base boards were cracked and simply painted over. The door jamb of our master bedroom had a chunk missing.
4. While I understand they have to start installation in a certain area to make sure everything lines up, they did not cover the newly installed floors and kept walking on them resulting in shoe marks that were very difficult to clean.
5. I was told by the owner Kristina Haight that I would have to hire people to repair and reseal the baseboards because there would be new nail holes in them, plus the top would have to be resealed. But, what I was not told is that the installers were so careless that cracked some of base boards, and chipped one of our door jambs when they removed the old floor. For this, we have to pay extra to hire someone to fix that because we were getting close to move in time.
6. This is probably the least of my concern, but they did leave tool marks on our walls.
Dealing with Haight after the fact for all these problems were like pulling teeth. We asked for a discount on the final bill and was given ¼ of what we requested. Their argument was they gave us a low price on the flooring at the beginning so that justified the end result of our agony. I mean, really? Is that how you reason? If they insist on charging us that amount, we will be advising all our friends and family to stay far and away from Haight because they take no ownership on the quality of the work that they perform and absolutely do not care on the state of your home they leave it in at the conclusion of the project. To get them own up to their mistakes was impossible.

Worst experience in my life. These guys are crooks!
I spent roughly $ 1000 on some wood flooring for a dining room remodel but never received a thing after the product was ordered. When I called Haight to arrange to pick up the merchandise, they said they couldn’t find the flooring in their warehouse. I then asked them to refund me the purchase price, and they said they would only reimburse me $ 250 of the $ 1000 I paid. How ludicrous is that?
Avoid at all costs!

Recently picked out engineered hardwood for my living room. Ruth was very helpful and friendly. The installer did a great job. He said it had a Pottery Barn look and he was right, I love it. Pam in Snohomish

Haight carpet right now in Woodinville was supposed to install commercial carpet in our office. Mark Haight himself stood in our space and promised that the carpet would be in in time for us to move. At this point we finally are having someone else install the carpet that Haight was scheduled to install because of so many installation scheduling issues. My office (a dozen staff members) had to set up across the hall from the new space while we get the carpet put in hopefully over the weekend. Haight it blaming our landlord, our landlord is blaming Haight. Last I saw was that Haight was coming in Monday afternoon — they didn’t come in. It seems like that was the straw that set everything else in motion. If you do work with them, be extremely careful about making sure you have the scheduling exactly the way you want it and that there are no delays with other vendors or you could end up in trouble. Their carpet is probably fine. Scheduling and promised date of laying the carpet? This snafu cost us customers of our own.

I could not be happier! The entire experience went off without a hitch. Great price, quick turnaround for install, experienced installer, and carpet that I love!
I have 3 bedrooms in desperate need. I already know where I will be going. Thanks Travis and everyone else at Haight. A+ customer service! Donuts for everyone!

I believe in second chances so I stopped by yesterday seeking their suggestions on some Shaw and tufftex carpet for our home. Upon arrival I was greeted by a receptionist who asked a salesperson if he could help. The salesperson «was too busy» and didn’t even have the courtesy to attempt help or to ask if I could wait… Then I was passed off to two young men who could not explain the difference between multiple samples…
Shame on me for giving them a second chance! Awful service again, I will not be back.
I will also leave feedback on Angie’s list. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere like Andy’s five star flooring or Flynn’s…

We worked with Travis through Costco and we are very happy with our experience with both Travis and Haight. We went with a Shaw premium (at over 1000 square feet of carpet…) and it is awesome. It is so soft and just amazing. The install went smoothly, if a little longer than expected and you can’t even see the seams. Our installer was very professional and an incredibly hard worker. I would definitely recommend Haight and Travis to anyone looking for carpet!

I recently used Haight to install new hardwood flooring throughout my home. We initially visited the showroom, and took some samples home. Once we made a decision, Travis came out to our home, measured, and provided us with a bid. He was able to talk knowledgeably about all the products, and was friendly and genuinely interested in our overall idea (even the parts that Haight wouldn’t profit from). We settled on an install date, they ordered the wood and delivered it as expected and on-​time to let it acclimate over the weekend.
The following Monday, their installer, Chip, showed up. He was on-​time, friendly, and also interested in understanding the entire project. The flooring we were having installed was a natural hickory with varied colors of wood throughout the mix. I asked Chip how he accounted for that variation when laying out the pattern on the floor, and he promptly showed me a picture on his cell phone of a hickory floor with even more variation in color that he’d done the month prior. It was stunning, and at that point I told him he had my complete faith, and I left him to it.
The entire install took a week for demo, install and pattern design (as he went), installing the baseboards, and caulking the edges. Chip managed to work around my appliances, so we were never without our kitchen or downstairs powder room. It was very thoughtful, and I was impressed that he was able to do it. His work was neat, clean, and he even added a detail that I hadn’t thought of, that really made the baseboard work around a pillar near our stairs. The floors are gorgeous, and I couldn’t be happier with the results and experience. When we replace our upstairs carpeting, I won’t even bid it out next time — I will head straight to see Travis at Haight. Highly recommended.

Haight carpets provides good service, on time, and their prices can’t be beat.
The seniors who live in our apartment buidling are murder on floors. When someone moves on, Haight Carpet has been great about everything, from the product to scheduling. Their workers are just exactly what’s needed, getting the work done well, done efficiently, and when they say.
Save yourself the aggrivation, and go with these guys.

After a super lousy experience with Great Floors in Bellevue I was hesitant to get more guys in my home to replace carpet. Haight Carpet was AWESOME.
I made an appointment over e-​mail. The guy showed up at the agreed time on the dot, was courteous and helpful, finished the measure in no time flat, and we booked an install date. Install went smoothly and quickly and there were no issues at all.
Oh, and the quote was $ 1000 less than what Great Floors quoted me. And they didn’t even break my appliances or randomly show up at inconvenient times :)
Definitely recommended.
