I just want to say the biggest thank you to this office for making everything so easy and transparent when it comes to dental work. This topic alone can be intimidating but they make it so comfortable and a great experience every single time. I have never not felt welcomed. I also want to say how extremely wonderful Leslie (their front desk gal who handles the finances) is because I have never experienced help like this before. You may be shocked when you hear this too because of just how rare it is. So I had gotten my wisdom teeth taken out here in January and paid everything I needed to pay up front, day of. Come the following month I received a bill for a couple hundred dollars for this procedure which made absolutely no sense since I had paid everything off already for it. I called (with little hope) to see if someone could help me understand what was going on and Leslie graciously answered the phone to create some clarity. But not only did she do that, she fought the battle with my insurance company and stood by me the whole time for FOUR MONTHS to get this straightened out. She would call me and leave voicemails with updates, provide contact information on who I should reach out to next and how to go about the conversation, and always was beyond friendly and provided the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. After all of the hard work she did, she somehow got it figured out completely and the entire bill was erased. I’m forever grateful to her and all of her efforts because little did she know this all came at a time where I had been so financially stressed with getting my own apartment and bills flooding in and also it was my birthday weekend so timing was everything. Thank you Leslie and Gentle Dental. You guys are great and I will continue to be a loyal customer who truly feels valued.

I had a bad experience at a dentist as a child and had been anxious about going back to another dentist, but after the pain from two broken and infected teeth got too bad to handle I had to go, and was recommended dr. Zantua by a coworker. I have only seen her once so far but she was thorough, professional and explained everything very well before referring me to the surgeon for a procedure. I had extractions done by the surgeon Dr. Amini; he and his team were awesome. his assistant, I believe his name was Paul, talked with me before I was sedated and took my mind off everything and made me much less anxious and it really helped. Dr Amini did great work he is a very skilled surgeon. The drs and surgical team is great and I am very thankful for their work and making my experience a good one.

Unfortunately for me I have been at this location at least 10 times over the last 2 to 3 months. I have had a crown done, a bridge done, a wisdom tooth removed and the cleaning and I give them 5 stars for all of those services. I can only recommend my dentist and I can’t remember her name but her last name starts with Z. They are really easy to work with and laid out a plan that worked around my insurance and everything was very straightforward and economical. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a dentist in the area.

If I could give them negative stars, I certainly would. How I wish I paid attention to all of the online reviews of Gentle Dental. These people will act nice and smiley, but in the end, they will steal from you. I can’t believe the amount of billing «errors» I’ve had to put up with. Their office staff are completely incompetent. My advice, DO NOT GO HERE, or any Gentle Dental location. Unless you want to be scammed with a smile. There are plenty of dentists out there, do your research and find one that won’t steal from you. I’m taking my business (and that of my family of 5) elsewhere!

Great staff but no wifi

I finally got my refund check after writing this review and filing a complaint to the Insurance Commissioner and AG. Of course, my address was wrong, whatever. The lady at front desk did take partial blame. She did start communicating with me and was very helpful. She has to do it all and hopefully the company will change their billing practices and give her time to follow up on accounts. In this day and age there are apps that can flag accounts. It’s amazing how quickly a check can get cut and sent to you after complaining. My suggestion is if you get services done, find out your insurance plan, chech your Explaination of Benefit statement and only pay the co– pay and the difference which mine is 20% of the agreed amount. If they are a preferred provider they know there is an agreed amount and they are suppose to write off the differences I feel they are collecting the interest on all the credits. My co– worker had a credit also and never even thought about it until she read this review. That was the Everett Gentle Dental. Once again I do like the staff they are friendly and did do great work. I am afraid to get a crown after reading horror stories on reviews. I’m going to have to find a different dentist which saddens because I like the staff. I just read another review same thing on billing, wow.

So I was never one of those people who were afraid of the dentist. Do I particularly like them, no but I wasn’t hiding under the desk when an appointment rolled around. Most probably because I am fortunate to have good teeth. I very skeptical about dental places because I feel they are trying to find something wrong in your mouth so they can get money. So this is the first place I’ve been to since moving to Seattle for dentistry. I thought everyone was very nice and polite. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. They are willing to work with you and your needs and aren’t going to sell you anything if you tell them you aren’t interested. No salesmen here! I thought they did a wonderful job! Plus you get a goodie bag when you leave! who doesn’t like that! (Okay its not the most exciting goodie bag — toothbrush, floss, and travel sized toothpaste, but at least they give you something!) I will definitely become a regular here. Ohh plus they do email appointment reminders if you want. I love paperless offices! Means they are good!
