Big Bones Construction

I recently used Big Bones Construction to do a complete tear-​down and rebuild of my balcony and patio deck. They needed replacement due to dry-​rot. Scott Taylor and his workmen took from 1 ½ to 2 weeks to complete this work. The decking was replaced with Azek and pressure-​treated wood materials were used for the joists. What I liked was that they cleaned up each day, worked until 5 p.m. most days and did what they could to make sure I was pleased.
I have had construction jobs done in previous homes where workmen argued, yelled at each other, played loud music and were unsatisfactory. There was none of that here. The workmen were respectful and called me, «ma’am.» Their music was kept to a low volume and they only took a break for lunch.
I would recommend Scott Taylor and Big Bones construction. The only reason I didn’t give him 5 stars was that he didn’t return e-​mails or calls as soon as I would have liked; however, to his credit, once the job started, he was quicker to return calls and could be easily reached by cell phone.
Scott has an easy-​going personality (my observation) and definitely knew his business. They did not skimp on their work.
