Puppy Parade

Ahmet, the pet sitter, brought a girl to my apartment at night and had sex with her in my apartment while I was out of the country!!!
If I could give negative rating to Puppy Parade, I would. This is the worst pet sitting service I have seen and had had other pet sitters before moving to Rego Park, NY.
After reading the online reviews, looking at Puppy Parade website, discussing the service needed with Gary and Ahmet on the phone, requesting a certificate of bond and insurance info, and finally interviewing Ahmet in person, I hired Ahmet at Puppy Parade to take care of my cat for 2+ weeks while we are out of the country. We set up a security camera in the apartment just prior to leaving the country for security and I am so glad that we did.
The term of the service arrangement was for Ahmet to come to the apartment once a day to clean the litter box, feed the cat, occasionally water the plants and play with the cat for 30 minutes at 3pm everyday while we are away. 4^th day into the trip (5÷24÷2016), we received e-​mail notifications that he brought a girl into my apartment at 9:20pm even though he already came at 3pm that same afternoon and his business hours stated on the website is from 9am-​9pm. From the photos attached to the e-​mail alerts, he treated my apartment as a motel and had sex with that girl in various places in my apartment. I watched everything unfold in horror and called him and texted him numerous times requesting him to stop and leave my apartment. Finally, I had to call my friend to come to the apartment and kicked them out at 11:30pm.
After I returned home nearly two weeks later and checked the video of the night, I realized he knew we have camera monitoring and looked at it three times but still decided to have sex in my apartment. He even played with the lights in the apartment thinking we can’t see his disgusting actions in the dark. Worst yet, when they made a mess and had their body fluid all over my sofa, he told the girl «it’s okay», which left several huge stains on my sofa.
Since we were still out of the country when this happen, I could not possibly have Ahmet coming back to take care of my cat and needed someone else to take over. I contacted Gary, Ahmet’s partner at Puppy Parade and requested him to take over the job. His response was that he can only take care pets in Sunnyside, and Rego Park is too far for him, which left us hanging with no other choices but asking my friends to step in for nearly 2 weeks.
Puppy Parade is a very unreliable pet sitting company. I trusted them to hand over my keys and asked them to take care of my pet. Yet, Ahmet destroyed my trust and Gary did not step in to make up for his partner’s mistakes and left us figuring out where we can find another pet sitter while we are away. For anyone who is looking for a pet sitter, I would strongly advise you to find someone else. For those who are using Puppy Parade, I would recommend you to re-​examine what they are doing in your apartment while you are away. Good luck to all of you!

Much thanks to Gary, who took such perfect care of our car while we were away for an entire week. She is a shy cat, but Gary is a cat whisperer, so if she likes him (which she did) that’s endorsement enough! Love the videos and photos that let us know how she was doing.

I couldn’t be happier with Puppy Parade and Ahmet. From Day 1, he has been SO professional. We couldn’t be happier with the way this has been going. Our year old pup adores him.

Ahmet is awesome, been using him for close to 3 – 4 months. I have 2 big rotties and my male Apollo was starting to have issues (overprotectiveness of me). A trainer suggested a dog walker to release his pent up energy and he has shown a lot of progress since. Apollo seems more confident, more at peace and happy.
From the day Ahmet met the dogs, he took control, he was not overpowered by them and I could tell immediately that he loved dogs. They felt comfortable with him and that was a peace of mind for me. I would definitely recommend Ahmet if anybody needs a dog walker!!!

AHMET HAS BEEN AWESOME!, we got our french bulldog pup about 2 months ago an couldn’t find a dog walker in our area, we live in glendale and its very hard to find dog services that are reliable in the neighborhood, i found puppy parade online and rosie loves ahmet! he’s been very helpful and professional with our pup! always on time and always keeps us updated on her walks! i definitely recommend these guys!

Ahmet from Puppy Parade is great! We came across him via close friends that had used him and provided a great recommendation. Before we began using him, we did a meet and greet. We liked him, and our 3 month old lab LOVED him! We have been using him for 6 months now. He comes within the same 1 hour window whenever we schedule him. He is even available on short notice when need be. He also sends us a text letting us know how the walk went, and sometimes even sends picture. We are very lucky to have found such a great, reliable dog walker, and we highly recommend him!

Ahmet arrived to meet my dog, and it was like «The Dog Whisperer» had come to visit. We’d recently moved to our new neighborhood, and she’s a fairly high strung dog to begin (a rescue). But his presence was calming and their connection was instant. He genuinely cares for my dog, is fastidious and responsible. After spending time together, I felt he was bright, experienced, trustworthy and responsible. He has proven himself to be all that and more. He has even stayed on to ‘cuddle’ with my dog during times of stress. When I’m at work, I feel reassured that my dog is not just walked, but loved. And if there’s ever a time when he’s unavailable, Gary will «pinch poop» for him. Thanks, Ahmet and Puppy Parade!

Gary from Puppy Parade has been a great help watching our cat when we’re away. He provides daily photo and video updates, and at a fair price. Recommend.

I highly recommend this company. I am very happy with the service provided by Gary R. He is responsible as he following the instructions on what to do and am very comfortable with his interactions and care that he gives my dog. I am also very happy that Gary is able to work my crazy schedule and accommodates me when I need to go to appointments and other business in the city as I am only in a city for short periods of time and really need someone dependable who can work with me. He has been able to do this. Great job.

Amazing service! Constant updates with my dog Achilles when Gary and Ahmet walk him. Extremely loving and caring, attentive and treat Achilles as if he was their own. They are flexible with my schedule and have made extra effort to accommodate my needs. Highly recommend puppy parade.
