Established in 1974.

Our firm started over 35 years ago as James R. Delamater & Associates. In 2000, DS&B Financial Services, LLC was formed when James Delamater & Associates partnered with DS&B, LTD — a Twin Cities-​based Certified Public Accounting, consultant, and advisory firm established in 1950.

This new relationship provides the right blend of integrated financial consulting, insurance planning and Certified Public Accounting services. Our passion for helping clients prosper is a deep-​seated commitment initiated by our founding partners and adhered to by all DS&B employees. That’s the DS&B difference.

James Delamater, President, CLU, ChFC, has a solid reputation for helping clients target and achieve their financial goals. For more than 35 years, he has worked with business owners and professionals to select and implement a financial plan that is appropriate for them, their business and family. Jim’s areas of specialization include business exit strategy planning, life insurance planning and implementation, estate and retirement planning, investment strategies and wealth management.
