I was more than a little disappointed by the service my daughter and I received at this store. My daughter just started track and needed a pair of track shoes. The man who worked there (long hair and beard) was very curt with my daughter and basically belittled her for not knowing the proper techniques for tightening/​tying her shoes and evaluating the fit of the shoes. My daughter was obviously uncomfortable and he was totally unaware of the impact his behavior, or maybe he did not care. My daughter never wants to go back there and we won’t.
There are people in this world who want to share their knowledge and those who feel the need to prove it. He was obviously one of the latter. He reminded me of some of the cycling elitist that I run into on group rides.

It’s a nice smaller store set back on a side street. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by someone who ended up assisting me the entire time. It wasn’t too busy and there were plenty of staff to help customers. And they were so helpful. It was my first time here and my first time buying real running shoes in a while, and I was very indecisive. The gentleman who helped me was knowledgeable and patient as I tried on multiple shoes, looked at different shoes, and decided. I ended up with two great pairs of shoes and will definitely return when I need more.

Another review for the Brookfield store. Both my boys run and now buy their shoes here almost exclusively even though we know exactly what they need. They either have the shoes in stock or will have them in a couple days. The staff has always let my boys take a test run in the parking lot to verify size before we leave and we’ve always been happy. Yeah, they don’t always measure, but the first time we went in, Jack picked out the right size just by knowing so much. Sure, you might be able to find a better price online, but the chance to support a local business that supports running programs in the area is worth it. Add in the great service we’ve always experienced and unless we’re out of town and desperate, the Brookfield store is where we shop.

I have been a customer of Woodbridge running co since I moved here and started running. I have always gotten prompt and friendly service, very knowledgable staff. I had my gait assessed and found the perfect pair of running shoes. They have a really nice selection of different brands in different colors, anything to suit your running needs. They also have a decent selection of clothing for both men and women, as well as accessories for short and long distance runs. One of my favorite things about this place is that you can put both shoes on and take a little jog out in the parking lot. I love that you can try before you buy!!! I have been here more times than I can count. I have never been disappointed. The first time I came I almost missed the building but the big flag that is out now points you in the right direction. Parking in the back is plentiful. The staff is so helpful and patient, the last time I was here I was trying to decide if I should switch brands but after talking with the owner he said I should stick with what I know, to just rotate my shoes since my mileage has increased. They have an email list and events like running clinics which are helpful. Check this place out, new runner or experienced, you won’t be disappointed!

This review is for the Brookfield store and is based on my first experience there.
The staff was very approachable. I wanted to get better fitted for shoes. Jack the manager recommended four models and suggested than I test run each pair outside the store in the parking lot. Based on that I selected a pair (which worked out great). Jack also offered to take the shoes back within 2 – 3 weeks if there are problems. Nice offer but not necessary, because the shoes I bought were based on a lengthy discussion of needs and aches, a foot measurement, and a gait analysis before purchase.
The price was around list price. This is fair considering the service, «test drives», and return policy. I need to make it a point to buy shoes here in the future rather than online.
I think if you visit the store while it’s not mobbed with other customers, you’ll get the same great advice and service.

The folks here were very friendly. I have to say that I had expected a little more in the way of service. No foot measuring, or testing out the sneakers. The guy basically just gave us the running shoes and went to help other people. Don’t you go to a place like this for a little more in the way of service? Better than Kohl’s, but not like Hawley Lane shoes.
That being said, the prices are competitive and it’s fun to look at all the jerseys from local high schools and many different colleges.

This is a great place for those of us who love to run. The location is right between routes 63 and 69, next to the Woodbridge Hardware Store. I am fairly new to running (about a year now) and I have found myself asking them lots of questions about running and apparel. The staff members all run (or at least the ones I have spoken to) which is important to me when making purchases. I needed new running shoes and they fit me for a perfect pair. This is a no-​frills running store and that’s okay with me.

A cool store! You can tell all the employees love to run, and the store is decorated with highschool running jerseys. The staff member that helped us pick out new shoes was knowledgeable, and the store had a nice collection of running shoes (as well as other accessories) to choose from. My husband and I will definitely be back for any running apparel wants or needs.
Also: They recycle old running shoes! Bring all your extra pairs when you go!

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. We talked about all different kinds of running shoes and found just the right fit. Good selection of men’s & women’s exercise clothes and accessories.
