I feel bad for the workers losing their jobs, but this place was just dreadful. I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did.

I went by today to pay my respects by leaving a red solo cup outside the main entrance. After putting the cup on the ground, a person’s dog grabbed the cup and wouldn’t give it back. Was gonna try to wrestle it away from the dog, but I ain’t as good as I once was. Anyways, I’ll give the restaurant a yellow solo star rating because at least the dog’s owner was cute.

Should have taken the fact that @3pm on a Saturday. My family and I were the only ones in the joint. Food just bland, doesn’t taste or look fresh. Not worth the time or money. Ohhh forgot to mention WAYOVERPRICED

The first time we went at lunch and the service and food was terrible. OK, they had just opened up, but do we have to hear the manager yelling at his employees? The second time we went at lunch(giving them a second chance), it was not crowded at all. We walked out after waiting 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table. They were all chatting at the front of the restaurant. There won’t be a third time. That will make a total of maybe two restaurants I have walked out on in my life.

I was asked to leave this place because I was wearing a vest that said SEMPERFI, MARINERETIRED, IRAQVETERAN, AFGHANISTANVETERAN the ignorant security manager said it could be considered gang affiliated. I ask all military to boycott this place, we swear to support and defend the constitution, and this place tramples my 1st ammendment right, by denying me service for wearing a vest that shows I served my country.

Toby Keith is great. His music is awesome. The restaurant has issues. Sad. I wanted to like it. I tried, I really did. Both visits were long, labored service with few patrons even in the place. Food was so-so at best Cold, and lackluster, but yet very pricey. No wonder it’s nearly always empty. Family of four was nearly $ 100.00 tab with tip! Too much for a meal that was sub-par.

I love Toby Keith but will NEVER eat here again. My wife and I went and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. However, when I went to go to the bathroom my entire view of the place changed. There was urine all over the floor, the urinals were clogged with chucks of snuff and snuff cans blocking it up. To make it worse, I checked the toilets and many of them were clogged up with poop, one with vomit, and not one stall had toilet paper. Thoroughly disgusted, I went to wash my hands and leave but one big problem — no soap, and no paper towels. It made me wonder about the employee who had just left when I entered… I asked to speak to the manager. When I told him what I saw in the men’s room he seemed not to care, and explained they had a big event the night before… but it was 6pm when we were talking — the bathroom had been like that all Saturday! The manager made some claim about an order of soap for the bathrooms that had not come in yet, and I got angry and explained to him he could send an employee to the store to get some soap so that they could at least meet health codes. In hindsight I should have reported it to the health department…

If you are a guy you will have a better experience if you sat at home and flicked yourself on the nuts all night than you would if you went to this place. I suggest you go to this place having the lowest possible expectations for a bar/restaurant so you wont be disappointment. Make sure you eat before you go, have any conversation you plan on having before you go. Horrible food, horrible service, overpriced!

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I feel forced to give one star so I can write a review. We went in on a Saturday afternoon and it was absolutely dead. We sat for about 10 minutes before we saw our server and were able to order some drinks. Those came out and we ordered an appetizer of pretzel bites. These took a little over thirty minutes to arrive at our table. They had obviously been under a heat lamp for most of that time because the cheese that came with them had already turned solid. Gross. When the server came to take our appetizer plates we reminded her that we needed to order lunch. She seemed oddly surprised by this request. We ordered our food, a burger, an order of the chicken Mac n’ cheese and a kids meal of Mac n’ cheese with French fries. This came out about thirty minutes later again and the burger was missing half the toppings and the fries were not with the kids meal. We pointed this out to the server that brought the food out and she said she’d go get those items. Fifteen minutes later, with no fries, burger topping, or drinks for the last 45 minutes, we asked to speak to a manager. The manager was nice and said she would comp one of the meals. She also went and got the food we were still owed. We asked for drinks and she said she’d send a server over which never showed up. At this point we wanted nothing more than to leave but we went twenty minutes and never saw a server, let alone our server who had apparently stumbled into a worm hole never to be seen again, to ask for a check. So I walked to the bar and asked to see the manager again. She came out and apologized and said that she would handle the bill. This was nice, but I would have preferred to pay for a good meal than suffer through this pathetic attempt at food service. Bottom line, if you have two to three hours to kill for lunch and enjoy being frustrated by piss poor service, try this place sometime.

Dear Toby Keith– Your restaurant f’n sucks!!! It is the worst chain restaurant I’ve ever been to. I can’t explain the utter disappointment this experience has brought me. I’ll be telling everyone I know to stay away from this place. First, there was a dead bug in my margarita. Next, I waited an hour for my entrée for it to be cold. Then I got a lame excuse that the green beans were what the food was waiting on. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and can smell a lie a mile away. When my food was brought back it was like it was warmed up in the microwave and thrown back on the plate with some bbq sauce that wasn’t on my plate originally. l am basically livid. I should not have paid for my food. The bill for my boyfriend and I was $ 68!!! Crappy food and drinks for $ 68?!? Never ever again!!! DONOTGOHERE!!!

I hadn’t read reviews before going, but apparently they are pretty accurate… Food was just not impressive at all — well below average. Our waitress was nice and fairly attentive — she was the one bright spot in the evening! After eating, we ended up on the dance floor. I was the sober DD of the evening, and the bouncers no kidding would try to start fights between people. When my friends attempted to walk out of the place, the bouncers tried to prevent them from leaving and entice them to fight. Luckily, my friends aren’t that stupid. But really Toby Keiths?

Wow. Just wow. Oddly enough, my parents brought me here for my birthday last night. My first thought when I walked in, «it’s Sunday night, the Lions are playing the Cowboys, and this place is DEAD!» I already had preconceived notions of this place based on the 1.5 star Unilocal rating, but my dad being the country boy that he is, and it being the laid back kind of place that it is, I thought — what they heck… let’s give it a try. The scantily dressed hostess pulled two tables together, both wobbly. On a good note, our server was very very sweet, but perhaps maybe a bit flighty. We ordered a combo of teas and beers, once she delivered everything, we then traded mugs and cups to get the drinks to their proper owners. We ordered potato skins and fried zucchini as appetizers. These took about 20 minutes to arrive. The skins were dry and undercooked, they weren’t terrible, but they certainly were not the best I’ve had. The fried zucchini chips were fantastic. They were breaded and deep fried, served with Ranch. I can’t be sure if these are house made of frozen, but none the less, they were quite tasty and probably the highlight of our meal. We asked for appetizer plates from the food runner, they arrived 8 minutes later. Three out of the five of us ordered dinner salads… They arrived with our entrees. It took approximately 45 minutes after our appetizers for our entrees to come out. My sister’s salad, which she ordered with the dressing on the side, came dressed. Other than that, she seemed to enjoy it. My grandfather ordered chili, he ate it, but did complain that it was absurdly over salted. My stepmom ordered the ribs which were good, but her loaded baked potato did not include butter or sour cream. We asked — and 10 minutes later a ramekin of butter arrived. My dad ordered the country fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and corn on the cob. His plate did not contain the corn. He also called his dinner disgusting and ate only the corn and mac and cheese. I ordered the Whiskey New York strip, rare, a loaded tater and corn on the cob. The tater was bare like my stepmothers, there were 2 corn on the cobs, and a steak that contained zero pink. Ten minutes into dinner, my stepmother had to go to the bar and ask for a steak knife because I couldn’t get the butter knife through the meat. I assume one of the corn on the cobs belonged to my dad, so I passed it on over. We shared a cherry pie, apple pie and a fried Twinkie. When my grandfather asked for his cherry pie, al-a-mode, our server asked him if he meant«with ice cream». The desserts were good, clearly boxed pie, but still pretty tasty. Overall, this was a long, drug out and rather disappointing meal. I can’t stay that I am shocked, with a 1.5 star average, I understand why this place was totally empty. There are some highs,(fried zucchini) and some lows(dads country fried chicken) throughout this meal… my recommendation for this place is to get and expeditor in the kitchen to control and streamline what is going on back there. It seems like everything is everywhere. I never saw a manager on duty, perhaps there was one, but if so, it might be helpful if they were more engaged. I can’t imagine TK is too thrilled with the reputation this place has. It’s a huge venue, beautifully decorated and has the potential to do really well — but with the way things are going, I feel like it’s going to be closed soon.

Toby Keith’s Bar and Grill… I am so sorry to say this was horrible! Granted, I went there for a concert, not for dinner but they did not have their act together in terms of getting people in the door with their tickets, so by the time we got in there was only standing room available. Eating Nachos and drinking a beer while standing did not help the experience and the food was not worth the hassle — and how hard is it to screw up Nachos?! The fact that they are another venue in the DC area for country music is the only reason I might be back. The service once inside was at least very good, especially given that everyone was just standing around. Toby, I don’t love this bar and I know you can do better!

If I could give Toby’s zero stars. I WOULD. I am so disgusted and outraged by the experience my friends I had here. It started off with my boyfriend and I have a lovely time listening to the band in town, it ended with the two of us caught in the cross fire of a fight outside where we both god assaulted for being outside the front door. A fight broke out between a group of about 10 guys and girls and somehow just from being outside we were included. I got a cigarette thrown at my face-grabbed by my wrist and KICKED in my stomach, my boyfriend got suck punched from behind and this is all the while the security isn’t doing a damn thing. We weren’t even a part of anything and couldn’t move out of the way fast enough. Cops came and the group of instigators got arrested and my boyfriend and I left disappointed and assaulted. I’m truly disgusted and will never step foot in that awful, poorly run establishment again.

The food was really pretty good. $ 25 for 2 entrees, and an appetizer. The ribs were amazing. The birthday cake martini was delicious. But we went on a Friday night, and the live band was both LOUD and ANNOYING. The lead singer kept saying«check check check» for about 15 minutes. The band was so loud and annoying it made my wife jump in her seat several times, and we got out of there as fast as we could. We won’t be back for dinner anytime soon.

Ok, so my first review was based on only my first time coming. SO to be fair, I decided to give it another chance. As you read in my reviews, I believe in second chances. Also because a friend who just recently moved to the area BEGGED me to meet her here. Even after I told her how horrendous it was and to read all the reviews. Her response was«Well, there are some good reviews so maybe they improved and got better.» Um, no! This second time was worse! I don’t even want to go into detail what happened, but I swear this stuff only happens in a bad movie! Let’s just say, we ended up going to Firebirds(again). It’s funny how when we got to Firebirds, our server must have seen the look on our faces. He goes«Let me guess, you’re walking over from TK’s?» «How did you know?» «You are my third table that’s come from over there.» BTW, food and service was GREAT at Firebirds! Never again!

Wow this place has been excoriated since the day it’s opened… I can’t say I had the same contempt for the place, but I hope they improve soon. In the end, nothing was really wrong with the food. And that’s the best I can put it. There are quite a few small things that need to be fixed very soon. Like, I needed a place to throw away my gum, and went on a wild-goose chase looking for a trash can, none in the restrooms or restaurant that I could find. I finally asked a waitress and she had to pull one out from behind the bar. The power lunch portions are pretty small(which could be a positive, since nothing on the menu could be thought of as healthy). A weird issue at the end was the bill. In most restaurants the bill contained suggested tip amounts, based on different percentages of the bill. Here, everything was inflated. What they said was 15% of the balance was actually 19.5%, and what they said was 20% of the balance was actually 26%. Not cool at all…

I read the reviews for TK’s before going for a happy hour that turned into a night out with friends. I was pretty much dreading going there and definitely expecting the worst. Well I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. They have a pretty well stocked bar so that was never an issue. Foodwise, I had already eaten before getting there but nobody within my group seemed to have any complaints. Service was great. Sasha [Fierce] was our server. We were there a long while and we were a group of about 10, and she seemed to handle it with much ease. Was always timely with our order and made sure to always check in on us. Absolutely no problems at all. She had a great personality that made us all feel extremely welcome. There was a live band later on in the evening and the dance floor got packed. I even got my husband out there! The band was playing a lot of country songs, which I’m not very familiar with, but it made for a really fun atmosphere. I do believe that this place is a great night out spot, and it was packed by the time we left. I think for a night out with friends, it’s a fun time, but I can’t really review as a lunch/dinner spot, since that’s not what we went for. The only complaints I have are how packed it got towards the later hours, the fact the switch to plastic cups at a certain time(maybe that’s me being snooty), and also the HUGE police presence outside. Nothing was going on, they all just stood outside, almost in a barrier. I have absolutely nothing against cops, I just think it makes the place look like it’s a trouble spot, when I didn’t see anything of the sort. Just makes it look bad from the outside. All in all, we had a great time, with great service, and great entertainment!

I’ve never been«moved» to write a review, but I feel I have to say something about the new TK in Woodbridge. Look, I understand the place just opened, and there is a period while management«works out the kinks» — but this place is like the epitome of fail. There was a big hoopla around Woodbridge about the Toby Keith grand opening that was eternally advertised as «COMINGSOON!». Much excitement only to amount to one of the worst dining experiences in my life. Was very excited to come here and looked forward to the country roadhouse setting TK is known for. According to the Hooters-style uniformed hostesses waiting time was 30 minutes. So we waited 30 minutes. Lots of wasted space in this place, but I’ve read they have plans to have a stage and mechanical bull installed in the future — so ok. We finally got seated and I noticed there were several open tables. OK, so why did I have to wait so long to be served, not enough waiters/waitresses?!? So whatever — my wife and I looked over the menu and we decided on trying the fried mac & cheese wedges. Our drinks came with the appetizer and I found the wedges — meh. Only 8 of these little hush-puppy looking things for like $ 8. That’s a dollar each for a bite of breaded Mac&Cheese. Finally we decided to make our order and I wanted to try the signature item: Whiskey Steak. Waitress: «Sorry we are all out of steak.» Uhhh, ok how about the ribs then. «No, sorry we are all out of pork.» Seriously? Are you kidding me? I replied… Waitress said, «Yeah, the person who ordered our food screwed up. So yeah — that person’s obviously fired. Sorry, we only have the salmon or chicken.» Well, how about a burger? Waitress: «Sorry». And I thought to myself, «you tell me this AFTER I have already ordered drinks and appetizer? Thanks!» It seemed like something out of a bad comedy. Of the ten entrees written on the menu — only two could be ordered. I told the waitress that I wasn’t interested in much else they had to offer, so we were going to be leaving. No manager responded to my table, no attempt to offer any kind of discount on my bill, or anything. What a joke. I was able to corner a manager socializing with the Hooteresque girls at the front door. I explained to him that it would be very helpful if they have next to nothing offered on their menu — to at least have their«hostesses» inform customers of that fact prior to them waiting for 30 minutes, being seated and ordering drinks and appetizers. Very unprofessional on their part. Hopefully they will eventually get their act together — but as of right now, I would steer clear of this place.
