If your a meet eater don’t go to any Ethiopian restaurants. They said my food had meet but instead it was all paste. This food is good for people with no teeth or vegetarians. So that’s about it.

So happy to have found this place! I am originally from Arlington and miss all of the close cultural restaurants, now Woodbridge is finally catching up… and this place was AWESOME! Great service and delicious food! Cant wait to go back! Sambusa, Abeba Goman, Lega Tibs, Kay Wat, Fasolia, Tikil Gomen, Kik Alicha and Tomato Salad is everything me, my husband and my sister and law tried and everything just hit the spot! LOVE the green sauce that comes with the Sambusa… I’d put that s*** on anything!!!

Soooo good! I’m so glad they opened. It’s hard to get Ethiopian food since I live so far south. We ordered two vegetarian platters to go and I ate it all. The interior is very nicely decorated, too!

The best Ethiopian food and exceptional service! I used to drive to Alexandria to look for good Ethiopian food. Now, Tabor is here and the food is authentic and no need to drive a long way. Try the Kikil! It is awesome!

This cute little place is perfect for a date night, girls/guys night out whatever the occasion! The restaurant décor is really cute… Dim lighting, music that’s not too loud and the over all décor of the place is modernized. I stumbled across this hidden gem last night as I was craving my ethi fix from the worlds greatest Shagga Café! But my mom lives in Woodbridge and Shagga is in Md so I Unilocaled«Ethiopian restaurants» and this was the closest to me :) The waiter was so nice and patient with me! She went over the menu with me and even though they didn’t have my favorite dish which is the«fish awaze tibs» she offered me a fish that they did have and it was really good! After waiting for about 15 minutes for my food, the waiter brought over to me 2 free lentil sombusas and tea. She said she had dropped my piece of fish and they were going to have to remake it for me but for my inconvenience she gave me that while I waited… how awesome was that!!! The sombusas were amazing! & the green sauce that it was served with was spicy but still flavorful and delicious. She even came and sat with me and reviewed Shagga café’s menu with me because I told her that they have the BESTETHIOPIANFOOD!!! And the consistency of it!!! I always know what I’m going to get there and it’s exactly what I want!!!:) :) :) Anyhoo! So I ended up ordering the veggie sampler and adding fish to it… my veggies were flavorful and the fish was seasoned perfectly as well… just wish it wasn’t fried…(you know a girl is trying to keep her shape!!) lol I will definitely be bringing my hunnie here for a date night! He’s always down for a good eat! & he can see that his Ethiopian teachings when it comes to food is definitely sticking with me because I’ve found yet again a great Ethiopian spot! :) :) :) I’m going to bring my girlfriends too! Enjoy!

Friendly and original environment. Food was DELICIOUS! Vegan friendly and so much more. We had the vegetarian combo #2 and it could have fed 4 – 5 people. The Kikil was flavorful and light. Great addition to our meal.

Very excited to have an Ethiopian restaurant right down the street. I went with my husband and 6yr old daughter. The food was delicious. We all dug right in and ate it all. No take home bag for us. And to top it off the service was great. We will definitely be back.

Came here because a friend recommended and I must say«The food is great» From the moment I walked in, I could feel I was going to have an amazing experience. I told the waitress right from the start I didn’t know what to order because it was my first time trying Ethiopian food and she said no worries, I got you. Well, she did not disappoint, everything was good. I had spicy beef, vegetables and collard greens. Yeah, the collards were off the chain, so good. So, if you are looking for a great food adventure, look no further. As a matter of fact, just add this restaurant to your favorites places to eat because you can’t go wrong. Will definitely come back again and again.

I am happy that we have a nice Ethiopian spot in Woodbridge now! The interior is modern and very clean. I had a to go order for lunch and the cashier was prompt and very sweet. I ordered the vegetarian combo with 5 choices. A little pricy to me at 12.99 but it was good and it’s close, so I’ll suck it up. I also had a slice of baklava which was satisfying. I will be returning for lunch and dinner soon. Two thumbs up from me!

Small establishment but big taste!!! Was in the area selling clothes back to a consignment shop and had some time to kill. So why not eat. Searched for Ethiopian cuisine and lo and behold this cute little place popped up. They’re located in a shopping center, not too big inside and have great customer service. I would definitely come back!

Shocked to find this awesome Ethiopian resteraunt in our back yard! Food was delicious and the portions were great, which is rare. Don’t let the Plaza or the front of this place fool you the inside is really nice and clean, my wife had to go back outside and go inside the resteraunt a few times, just straighten her mind out. I will be sneaking in meals here, unbeknownst to the greater family!

My fiancé and I went here last night! It was delicious! We had the appetizers(both vegan!), which were delicious. We also had the vegetarian combo entrée, also delicious and vegan! The waitress was great, very attentive and friendly. She also helped us, because we’ve never eaten Ethiopian food before. The restaurant had a great ambience and was very clean. The prices were also fantastic. They did just open and are going to be adding things to the menu as well as alcohol eventually. Can’t wait to go back!

I am so excited Tabor opened in Woodbridge, Va! There are literarily no Ethiopian restaurants in Woodbridge and I had to drive all the way to Alexandria or Springfield whenever I craved some Ethiopian food. The restaurant is clean and family friendly. The service was excellent. The waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu and making recommendations. I had tibs and kitfo and it was really delicious. Food came quick and it was amazing! Truly authentic cuisine! I can’t wait to go back and try their vegetarian and vegan dishes.
