After I was hit in the rear my another driver, I was instructed by Nationwide to take my vehicle to K and W Auto for an estimate. I decided to use A and W to complete the work and a what a fantatic job they did. I was impressed with their customer service and the quick turnaround on the repair. Now here is what sets K and W auto above all its competitors, my vehicle was fully detailed. I was impressed that they went above and beyond the repair of the external damage, they even made by 12 year old interior looking like it belonged in the showroom on a used car lot. Thats a compliment. I have never used Unilocal before and this is the 1^st time, so that should tell you how pleased I am with their work.

My wife and i have a 2012 Chevy Cruz Lt and we were involved in a hit and run (the dumb ass flipped his truck a block away) the repairs took over a month and Justin kept in contact with us every week to keep us updated in the repair process. The work and detail and care they put into repairing our car is utterly amazing. They even put my wife’s steelers license plate bracket back on our car. Anyone who takes their car anywhere else is stupid as hell.

I really lucked out with this place. Finding a trustworthy mechanic in the DMV area is like hunting & finding a treasure chest & once you found it, you don’t want to give it up ever. I’ve been bringing my cars to K&W Auto for years now & Refered countless Family members & friends to them & they’ve all had a positive experience. So far, after almost a decade of bringing my cars here, they haven’t disappointed. What makes this place so great is the level of professionalism & friendliness expressed by all their employees. I’ve been dealing with Andrew Merino all these years & he’s always been upfront & honest with me about pricing & all, which is rare in their line of work. If he quotes you $ 100, you pay $ 100 more or less & not $ 200 when you pick up your vehicle like other dishonest mechanic shops. The owner (Mr Kim) is also very friendly & down to earth, he’ll even give you a ride in his van for free to a destination of your choice (nearby) in lieu of waiting at the shop for hours. Please keep up the great work K&W Auto & you’ll have me as a costumer for life!

First and foremost if you are looking for shop that has good communication, does a great job, works with the insurance companies directly, is family owned, that is willing to pick you up from your house, fix other scratches not related to the accident, and detail your car go to these guys. All others stop reading now.
I dealt with Justin and he handled the whole relationship from estimate to keeping me apprised of the car with update calls. They are simply great. I’ve dealt with a lot of shops and these guys are the best I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’m sure there will be more accidents or damage to cars (wife) and I will bring it to K&W.

Technically, i was not able to get work done as the car was declared a total loss… BUT everything before that was great. I was hit by a taxi, so the insurance company was shady as hell. Justin actually gave me more valuable information than the insurance company did. I’m sure the work would have been great but unfortunately it did not get to that point. Either way, due to the great customer service, I will keep them in mind if this ever happens again.

Well, as luck would have it I got rear ended in stop and go traffic by some idiot who was on his phone. Back to K & W I went because I knew they would do work. As expected when I came to pick up my car I really couldn’t tell where I was hit. I spent a decent amount of time staring at where the damage was and I really can’t tell. These guys clearly know what they’re doing.
I will say that the first time I came here I noticed the quality of the work. This time around what I really noticed was the awesome service. When you walk in there everyone who walks through the waiting room asks you if you’ve been helped yet. Customer service here is grade A.

ive always had bad experiences with body shops but after looking through Unilocal 5 star shops. i chose kw bc while comparing apples to apples based on reviews, kw was only $ 20 cheaper than the competition but it was cheaper at any rate. i worked with jason but the entire staff was super friendly, surprisingly! i believe, jaime and rodgrigo worked on my 2014 cts v, a $ 70k vehicle, they are fully capable of working on high end cars. they went above and beyond, doing more work than promised and even cleaned and vaccumed the interior/​exterior. as a small business owner myself i realize the importance of superior customer service, quality craftsmanship and value. in most cases you get what you pay for but every once in a while you find a business that is not completely greedy and not without scrupples. i highly recommend this company, id never use any other ever again… all the reviews about kw are spot on and jason is a capable and valued asset. i believe the owner realizes he has an extonishing staff. our business models are very similar and i have the upmost respect for this owner, with whom ive not had the honor of meeting, he has cultivated a company with impeccable service! cant say enough about these guys! dont gamble, go to kw!

6 months later and another moron hit me, this time I was at a stop sign. Luckily the damage wasn’t too bad. Yet again, K&W completed a flawless, beautiful fix to my car. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the professional and skilled people working there. A+!

This place is wonderful. I can’t say enough about the great service I received! After a minor fender bender, my car was only supposed to take 2 days, after they found more damage and due to the holiday, the car was with them for almost 2 weeks. Justin made sure I knew what was going on the whole time, even contacted Enterprise for me. When I picked it up it looked like a new car! So impressed. Even more impressive is the call I received from the manager and the thank you card I received in the mail. I hope I don’t have to use them again, but living in this area you never know! :-) Thank you K&W Auto Body.

I had a small fender bender (ouch) and my poor car was so busted up! Luckily, the other person’s insurance paid for everything. I picked this body shop based on the location and reviews from Unilocal.I am so glad that I made that choice! From the beginning K&W reassured me that they would take care of my car; they went above and beyond! Andy was my main point of contact and he was great! He kept me up to date on the status of my car and also offered to buff my other headlight for free. I had no worries or concerns while my car was being worked on, I knew it was in good hands. When I came to pick up my Car, my baby looked brand new! They washed and vac’d the interior and it looked stunning! This place knows how to do it right! To put the cherry on the top, the owner called me and left me a voice mail thanking me for my services and asking if everything was excellent. Yes indeed A++

Ok, I have have have to write a review for this place. I literally just got a phone call from the owner personally to check to see if I was happy with the work done on my vehicle I picked up yesterday! Seriously, where can you get that type of service in Northern Virginia? At K&W Auto Body, that’s where.
This place was great, through and through. I had my bumper run into and they gave me a fair estimate and had my car fixed in three days after I dropped it off. They were polite and courteous the whole time, and gave me an estimate that ended up being the exact price I paid. I asked about getting an estimate to fix some scratches on my door, but they buffed those out for FREE. Not only that, but they also cleaned the inside of my car. Not only did they vacuum, but they also cleaned my cup holders (which had gotten some weird gunk in them, grosssss… I was not expecting them to clean my car lol)! My car came back looking almost brand new! And my brakes were super squeaky before I brought the car in. I’ve gotten it back, and they’re no longer squeaky. My husband thinks this is all in my head, but I’m wondering if they actually did something to make my brakes stop squeaking. I seriously feel like I’m driving a brand new car again. It’s great. The next time I need work done (and this is a when, not an if, since I live in NOVA, the land of car accidents and fender benders) I’ll be coming here, for sure.
This place is AWESOME!!! Don’t waste your time with other auto body shops. Go here and you’ll get small town, quality service at a good price.

This place is a class act. Not only did they do great work on my 2013 Nissan murano after it was rear ended, but their customer service is top notch. I was greeted by the owner when walking through the door. This is a rarity nowadays but here it appears that it is the norm. After speaking with Justin he arranged enterprise to come pick me up and kept me in the loop while doing the repairs.
A few days later I had my car back looking like new. I applaud k&w for their excellent work and customer service.

Can you give 6 Stars??? These guys are awesome, to say the least. «Professional» definitely describes these folks. They repaired my 1993 Honda Del Sol Si that got T-​boned in a parking lot. Being a 93, there was a lot of fading already. They took the car in, conducted the repairs and even buffed out the rest of the car and the plastic moldings! They did an excellent job. Justin kept me updated the whole time and, this is unheard of in today’s world… the OWNER called afterwards to follow up and make sure I was happy with the work! In what other business does the owner actually call to follow up? This shows me that they really care about what they do. They are more than a business. They are a part of the community and take pride in supporting their community.
If I ever need any further body work for any of my cars, I will definitely come back to K & W. I will also highly recommend them to anyone that needs or wants work done to their car.

I unfortunately had my car hit by someone. Needless to say it wasn’t fun but K & W made the experience bearable! They really are amazing! I found them through good reviews online and I have to say thank God people reviews places like this one. I can not be more happy with how my car turned out. It does look new again! Can’t say anything on price since the other persons insurance paid for it but they really paid attention to detail. They put new emblems on my car which I didn’t even think they looked bad after it got hit but now it’s like my car has a new name tag. Thank you so much K & W! Hopefully I’ll never need another repair but if I do at least I know I can turn to you guys.

So, rumor has it that you’re not supposed to slam your brand new 2014 Acura into the back of another car on 395 snarling traffic for an hour and a half… but I wanted to test the theory.
After destroying the front end of my once beautiful ILX, I took the vehicle, now sporting an automotive-​like «Joker» smile, to the Nationwide insurance adjuster… God, I hope they’re still on my side, I thought.
I asked him — with all the god fearing honesty I could muster — «Bro, where should I take this whip to make sure my shizz gets redid, ya feel me homie?» He pointed at the giant K&W sign behind him.
He explained that he wouldn’t let 90% of the Northern VA auto body shops work on his kitchen blender let alone his car. (I dunno… maybe kitchen blenders are prized family heirlooms?). Still skeptical, I threw him the keys and awaited my chariot’s arrival (Enterprise Rent-​A-​Car picked me up in a Dodge Fart… er, I mean, Dart.)
2 weeks later and Justin (the guy whose voice sounds like it belongs hosting a radio show and not at the service counter of a vehicle repair facility) calls and lets me know my whip is ready.
Holy shmokes! I swear, as they pulled the (detailed, washed and waxed) vehicle from the garage, I could hear faint sounds of angelic voices in the background. I’m not sure if they had the last «Touch by an Angel» soundtrack playing over the loud speakers, but it worked.
The car is great. I had a few issues with some of the alignment (hey, I’m picky yo), but they had NO issue fixing everything I nitpicked.
While I hope I never have to use K&W again (unless you all just LOVE sitting in the traffic jams I cause… In which case…), I’d highly recommend them to anyone who thought giving their car a face lift using another car was a good idea.
I think they said there’s a lifetime warranty on the work (and judging by the way science is headed, I plan to live to 200), so that’s awesome. Shout out to Jim, the owner, and Justin, the voice over guy who moonlights as a service repair tech dude, and to all the gentlemen who did such an awesome job on the whip!

K&w did some work on our car recently, painting a new trunk and then repairs when the car slipped on ice. The quality of the work is perfect and they don’t price gouge the heck out of you! The staff is friendly too. Highly recommended!

My 2013 Avalon Hybrid looks BETTER than it did when I purchased it! These guys go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. They even polished my car for me when the dealership basically told me no.
I will not buy another vehicle from that Toyota dealership on Rt1, but I will definitely use K&W for any work that I may need in the future!
