At Explore to Learn, parents and educators can enroll young children in an online course on Internet Safety. Children will learn about topics such as Cyberbullying and Identity Protection by watching cartoon characters make mistakes. This learning will then be assessed by a quiz and other activities that parents and educators can monitor to discuss the results with the student.

History

Established in 2012.

Explore to Learn was developed by an Educator. The courses began with the creation of cartoon videos that were piloted and proven effective to teach Internet Safety with elementary school students.

In 2013, the videos were integrated in an online environment with quizzes, puzzles and other activities to assess the student’s learning.

Anita has been working in the public and private sectors of education for over 20 years. Currently Anita holds a valid teaching license endorsed in Business Technology and Early Childhood Education for Pre-​Kindergarten to grade 3.
