Bariatric surgery is a big deal. After doing serious research on the gastric band, I was referred to Blue Point, by the manufacturer of the gastric band, because of the amount of surgeries performed.
Dr. Halmi and staff have been in the business for a while, and the process is very comprehensive — from support groups to bedside manner, to insurance paperwork, Blue Point is on top of things. I cannot recommend Dr. Halmi and his NP Renato enough.
I was very nervous on the day of my surgery, and Renato held my hand as the anesthesia set in – something I never expected, and brought me much comfort.
Once you have done your research, to find out if bariatric surgery is for you, I highly recommend Blue Point Surgical.
