Howard county’s premeir pet boarding kennel. We are all inclusive. No hidden charges. All dogs are walked 3−4x per day at no extra cost. We at Circle Kennels believe that fresh air and walks should not cost extra. Since 1997 we at Circle Kennels have been family. Many customers have been coming since the inception. Our staff of pet lovers become family to the pets and stay with us many years.

Established in 1997.

Circle kennels started out as a run down farm in 1995 and after extensive renovations opened for business in 1997.

I feel for the person that gave Circle Kennels one star, as I had a similar experience at another kennel and will never go back there. However, we’ve used Circle Kennels on five occasions now for our two Golden Retrievers, and we’ve never had anything but good experiences. Circle is our backup plan for when the Ft. Meade kennel is full, just based on price, but the price isn’t terrible, and our dogs are clean and happy when we pick them back up.

I boarded my 14 yr old dog there for a week. He is house broken and was clean when I dropped him off for a week stay. When I picked him up, the receipt had this written on it «Very scared. Poor old dog seems a little senile. Won’t let us handle him. Bites us when trying to put on leash. Must be able to handle to get bath and nails. «
He was fine when I left him. The girl had no trouble with him putting on a leash and taking him in the back. He was clean.
I arrived to pick him up. The boy went in the back and my dog came out with him but went to the opposite side of the room and peed. I had to coax him to me to put on his seat belt harness. He was filthy. He looked and smelled like he laid in pee and poop. He is getting old and had some problems with his back legs. I believe he is loosing some hearing. He was very stiff like he had not been walked at all. If I put my had over his head he became scared.
I brought him home and now he is peeing and pooping in the house. I have to find somewhere to take him for a bath. He is eating a lot of food, so I wonder if he was fed properly. He is not scared now when I approach him above his head, but I wonder if someone hit him.
Pick up and drop off is 7 – 9 am and 5 – 7 pm. No one answers the phone. You must leave a message and hope they call you back.
If you love your pet, take them somewhere else.

I have used circle kennels for 3 years in a row. I can just send them an email with my reservation info and send the check in the mail. Friendly staff when dropping off my two little dogs. They walk the dogs outside every time they let them out, which is what sold me on this kennel. I appreciate them getting my dogs out to stretch their legs.
My dogs are 9 and 10 years old. When we picked them up after 1 week of vacation, they were in great condition. I am very happy with this kennel service and will continue to use them in the future for our summer vacations.
