History

Established in 1985.

In 1985, founder Tim Conn started his first cleaning company, Tidy Tim’s Cleaning Service to earn some «extra» money as a teenager. By the end of high school, he had built a small company that had 3 employees and several clients including AT&T. Walking door to door washing windows, picking up trash in retail parking lots, and cleaning up other people’s messes wasn’t quite what Tim had in mind as he was growing up, but as time progressed, it was clear that there was a need for a quality cleaning service in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Tim got his first «break» when he joined a networking group. The group had a member that was a sales person from an AT&T phone store. Within 24 months, Tim’s company was serving 7 of the 9 Chicago area locations for AT&T. Tim continued to operate his business throughout his college years, growing the business at a modest pace. Today, the company now called Image One provides service to nearly 300 buildings with 50 cleaning crews.
