Business Owner

Originally from the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland, both Ruth and Bob were systems engineers in the aviation industry. They have traveled the world during their careers but are now ready to stay in one place and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire.

Ruth and Bob share their home with their dogs that provide greetings to guests and lavish kisses in return for any attention that comes their way. You will also see two beautiful horses grazing in the fields that are always happy for a carrot or two.

We just stayed one night for a friend’s wedding nearby, but it was a great stay! Ruth was super nice and made a very tasty breakfast for us. The house is very spacious, well kept, and has great views of the lake. A definite recommendation!

Bob and Ruth are the most hospitable bed and breakfast owners we have ever encountered. The B&B is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Wolfeboro, but it is totally worth the extra few minutes. Rooms are great, very spacious, and beds are very comfortable. When you wake up, you are treated to a cooked-to-order breakfast made with fresh ingredients from the neighboring farm. The views are incredible from this lovely home, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Bob and Ruth, we can’t wait to come back!

This Bed And Breakfast is awesome. Easily the best one in Wolfeboro. No minimum night stay. Ruth and Bob were great hosts and tended to our every need. Their gorgeous house is model after a Southern style mansion set on over 60+ acres of land. The views of Lake Wentworth and Winnipesaukee are breath taking. The breakfast was excellent. Even had fresh local scones from the secret bakery in Wolfeboro.
One thing should be mentioned. They have 6 dogs on the property. If you don’t like dogs or are allergic, this is not the place for you. But for me, it was great. I love dogs. There were well behaved and the whole property is invisible fenced, including the inside. You don’t have to worry about them going into your room.
All in all, this place is great. I would highly recommend Lake View Inn. It’s the perfect lake regions B & B.
