My husband and I stopped by the Brass Buckle after a long day on the road. They have some of the best burgers anywhere (and we travel quite extensively)! The Sidewinder potato wedges are their ‘specialty’ and were a nice accompaniment to the burgers along with a draft beer. If you find yourself near the tiny town of Wolcott, IN, you have to stop in. A nice bar and grill with great service.

The food here is wonderful. I have eaten here several times. The portions are big. We have had the wings, burgers, cheese curds, salads and soups. Not one disappointment. Will eat there again.

I was so excited to see a new, modern restaurant open after how sad the economy has left many small towns. The new owners have taken pains to renovate and make the interior trendy. The entrance is a bit awkward, and the bathroom is definitely in the wrong place, but I think they didn’t have a choice. All that aside, it’s a nice ambiance. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. She really listened to our suggestions on how to improve the food. We loved what we ordered — a hamburger and pork tenderloin sandwich, but the fries weren’t quit right. They were freshly cut and fried, but maybe it was the too thin cut with too much grease. The prices are higher than the surrounding diners but the food is worth the price. A great date place!
