Two different recruiters have called me from this agency. They were both incredibly difficult to even understand. The first one tried to call me about a sales position. I told him thanks but I was not interested in a sales position. He told me that it wasn’t cold calling sales but instead maintaining the clients already in existence. I told him I was still all set and he sounded offended that I was politely turning down his offer. The follow up email that was sent outlined the job description which included cold calling and gaining business. So he lied to me on the phone.
The second person to call me from that company said he was calling in regards to a technical recruiter role. Realizing it was the same company I said I was not interested. He said, in an offended tone, «ooook?» And there was a long silence and I just said «thanks anyway, bye.» I could hear him saying something else as I hung up. The follow up email that I got was the same email from the first time which was for a sales role. So this guy lied to me too.
Both of the emails were the exact same so they use a script and the emails start with «Hey!!!». Which doesn’t strike me as an appropriate way to send a professional email.

A recruiter at Xperttech contacted me a handful of times to submit my resume to a position. The job sounded good so I said that I was interested and to move forward which is common practice with all the recruiters who contact me. They find my resume, send me a job description and the request permission to submit me for job. After I gave permission they kept calling and requesting my personal information like address, phone number, birth date, and last four of social. This was very strange and I said that there is o way I will be giving this information especially to a recruiter as no other recruiters requested this from me. The foreign woman who called me then said she would email it to me and have me print and sign it and send it back and I said not a chance. I then got more emails requesting the same info as well as a form that was for me to sign for a right to represent. Which means any job I get xperttech represents me Hahaha! They must be crazy. No one looking for an IT job in Boston would do that. Their practices and techniques are very suspicious.
