Puddle Duck Day School has been serving Woburn, Reading and other area communities since 1989. Puddle Duck was founded by Colleen Maloney-​Benedix in order to provide a quality, nurturing, learning environment for her own son. Now, Puddle Duck has grown into a place for all children within our care to become confident, creative, responsible, and caring learners too.

Puddle Duck was founded by Colleen Maloney-​Benedix in order to provide a quality, nurturing, learning environment for her own son. For over 25 years, Puddle Duck Day School has offered high quality childcare by providing appropriate Early Childhood developmental experiences that challenge cognitive growth and enhance the development of each child. We pride ourselves on being the «best of both worlds» when it comes to care and learning. Our size allows for us to have a family oriented atmosphere, where our caring staff is able to get to know and understand each individual in order to assist them in their personal growth. A theme based curriculum is incorporated in each classroom by following the Mass. Preschool Guidelines so that the children will be prepared to enter the public school. Beginning in the baby room the children learn through a through a variety of experiences, about positive self image, self-​help and critical thinking skills.
