My wife and I ate upstairs in the bar as that’s were the entertainment was. They had two female singers called«Girls Night Out» and they were great. It was my wife’s type of music and she was really impressed. For our meal, we split the lasagna with a side of meatballs and it was all fantastic. Later we had some pizza and it too was great! All and all a very fun night! My wife’s waiting to see when the singers are there again and we will go back!

Overall mediocre Italian food — nice cozy local feel. The bread and oil is delicious. The pizza is also fantastic. We come often but I think we will stick with the pizza from now on!

I went there for Regina’s Pizza. Overall, I did not have good experience and food was MEH… I will break it down goods and beds into the list: Good: — We did not have to wait long to get seats. — Food came out kinda in time. Bad: — The waitress was not that attentive. — It took about 20 minutes before I could pay the bill and get out. — I thought it was Regina’s Pizza, but I have had much better in other places around Boston. Pizzeria Regina, this is NOT. — The waitress seems to deliberately forget to bring things to the table such as bread. It was kinda funny that she brought out the oil and we had to wait another 10 minutes before bread came out. Overall, I am not going there again. This is purely based on my experience and my experience was NOT a good one in this place.

WORST experience ever!!! We made reservations and still waited at least 20 mins. During that wait we were watching little kids have surgery on the tv displayed EVERYWHERE!!! Finally we got seated. Service was SOOOOSLOW! Two people out of five got napkins and silverware and only one got a plate. Then the bread came out still no plates or silverware. Drinks come out fine. Food comes out finally… Tastes alright. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and chicken added. There was so much sauce I thought it was going to spill out the plate! My friend got the shrimp scampi tasted alright too. We both got home and got sooooo sick! She threw up all night and I was stuck in the bathroom the rest of the night. Average tasting food with a bigger price to pay at the end. STAYAWAY. it’s not worth your money or time.

Tonight marks the second night I have tried Polcari’s, the second time they have messed up my order, and the last time I ever try this restaurant. Tonight I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, and asked if it was possible to have them make a small section of the pizza just cheese to which they told me they would«try.» After waiting over an hour for ONE pizza, they brought out a large cheese, with two slices of pepperoni on the side. Fifteen minutes later, they brought out a large cheese, with two slices of pepperoni incorporated. For a place that mainly makes pizza, what is so hard about making the order right the first time? Not to mention the rude employees that one encounters when picking up. One of the girls working the counter even went so far as to mutter under her breath while stomping away to correct my order after the second attempt. Save your money– this place isn’t worth it.

Nice place with good parking. The portions are large and the food is average. No complaints at all. I think for the money this is a good choice for family dining, not really a date place. I’d come back if I wanted something basic and reliable.

I like a restaurant that works with my pace. So sometimes you go in with a friend and clearly are hungry — just bring me my food and fast. There are times you are meeting up with family you have not seen in forever… none of you are starving and you just want to clearly take your time ordering, eating and being social. They were perfect for service and working with us on that. The food was great. I had the chicken Florentine which I highly recommend. My husband was very happy with the veal Parmesan as well. I had some of their root beer which was pretty good as well.

Ugh. I was craving toasted rav’s so we decided to try Polcaris. We ordered(online) the toasted rav’s and a couple entrees for take out tonight at 5:40, it said it would be ready at 6:30. Great. We got over to Polcaris around 6:20 and it was insane, that parking lot is way too small. We finally were able to get into the«take out parking» line… but… no one came out to the cars! People in front of us ended up getting aggravated and going in for their food. Once the clock hit 6:45, we did the same.(minus one star). Why take our car and license plate number if you don’t even care to walk the meals out? That’s just bad customer service. Once we got inside, it was chaotic. We told the girl our order was supposed to be ready at 6:30, so she goes to the back and gets it. It’s cold.(minus one star). I don’t even want to know how long it was sitting back there… Polcaris — if you’re paying a ‘take out’ employee — fire them. They aren’t doing their job. We get home, and the foods cold. Oh, and the order wasn’t right either. We ordered a meatball calzone, and got a calzone with pepperoni & sausage… no meatballs. really?!(minus one star). The toasted ravs were underwhelming and overcooked, maybe they would’ve been decent if they were hot. Salads were fine. side of meatballs(came with lasagna) were just meh. The pizza was fine, just cold. We paid over $ 90 for this meal and it wasn’t worth more than $ 20 to us. We’ll stick with Bertuccis from now on.

I can only speak for the Regina pizza they serve. It’s SO good. So expensive but I can’t resist coming back for more.

I’ll start by saying that I’ve been a fan of the Polcari’s in Saugus in the past. I came here because my family ad I were staying in a nearby hotel, and we needed a quick lunch. In my mind, the pizza here doesn’t hold a candle to Regina in the North End. Everything here is pretty basic, and not overly special. But at the same time, it wasn’t bad. It did the trick. I liked my pizza. My wife liked her meatball sub. My 2 year old ate anything we gave to him, and loved the free crayons. We devoured the bread and oil like they were going to outlaw the stuff. I’d say this place is passable at best. It won’t let you down. It also won’t impress you in any measurable way.

More often than not, the wait-staff seems annoyed to be serving you. I go here for the torrone dessert, a personal favorite I’ve not seen elsewhere in the area. Because of the mediocre service, I tend to go anywhere else when going for Italian. Woburn charging the extra local tax is absurd…

Overall the place was good. Found it to be a bit pricy for the food. But the food and service was great. Nancy and Jill took great care of us. Will definitely come back.

Took the boyfriend out for a Father’s Day dinner last night… it was our first time here together(we’ve both been to it separately, I went to a different location though) First off, our waitress was a doll! She was very nice and attentive. The food on the other hand was mediocre. Besides the Lasagna that the bf got, he loved it. I ordered the chicken parm & yes, the portions were HUGE, but the chicken itself wasn’t the best. It was a little tough and the pasta was OK. I couldn’t even finish half of it… I took it home, maybe left overs are better. Our appetizer was the Mozzarella Triangles and it was… too herb-y…Not enough cheese… too much of the breaded outer part… and they put too much seasoning that it was very salty & overwhelmingly flavorful. Dessert was wonderful though. We had the Fudge brownie & Ice cream… it was … YUM. All in all, the service was wonderful, the dessert was great… Lasagna was good. I probably would come back and try something else, but I would def come back for dessert haha.

Polcari’s in Woburn is really good. I’m surprised the star rating isn’t higher. I will admit it took about 10 minutes for the waitress to take my drink order, but I think I only noticed because I was by myself. Other than that though, the service was excellent. I ordered the Puttanesca Pizza and it was delicious! I also had the Tiramisu and it was excellent! I would definitely eat here again.

Polcari’s is a good option for a casual night out with friends or family. It’s a no-frills restaurant with decent Italian food. I also love that they serve Pizzaria Regina pizza. They bring bread before the meal which is accompanied by a delicious dipping oil. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive. They are available when you need them and food is served quickly. The one issue with this restaurant is the parking situation. They have taken over a large section of the already inadequate parking lot with several spaces reserved for valet. This is a plus for those who like valet parking, but I prefer to park my own. Perhaps I would utilize the parking service at a fancy, upscale restaurant, but Polcari’s is a low key, casual night out with a very small parking area so I do not find it necessary. Parking is tough for the non-valet diners during busy hours.

Stopped by for a late afternoon lunch with two toddlers. We were all starving. The server was quick to greet and take the children’s order. Thankfully, for the crayons and drawing sheets. Kept them occupied for a bit. We ordered chicken fingers and a cheese pizza for the kids. Huge portions. As for the adult course — we ordered the chicken marsala(didn’t realize it was cooked with pancetta) and a meat pizza. Both were tasty and plentiful. Reason for the 3 stars — where we sat — there were a bunch of fruit flies which makes me question the cleanliness of the restaurant.

We didn’t eat at the restaurant but my office ordered catering for a corporate luncheon. The food arrived promptly and it was still hot. We were given lots of plates, napkins, cutlery etc so we didn’t have to bring out our own stash. The food was really delicious for a chain establishment. The office LOVED the eggplant rollatini and chicken parm. We also got garlic bread, bolognese, garlic bread, salad, shrimp scampi and chicken and broccoli. It was quite the feast! I would definitely get catering from them again. Portions were huge and prices were really reasonable. The menu items were presented really well.
