Called them on the phone in the afternoon to confirm today’s hours. They said they were open until 6PM. I arrived 15mins after the call and they were CLOSED. That earns you 1 star, jerks.

I had recently had to walk my scooter home, on a blistering hot day, uphill, took me about an hour, (I am almost 60 Yrs old), stupidly, had locked key for said scooter, in the trunk, under the seat, I had called AAA and they said they could send a locksmith to get key, I was so happy!!! Then I get a call from locks and keys woburn, saying they cannot open trunk??? didn’t even come out to look… Come again??? Your one job is to get locks open, and you cannot even ATTEMPT to get my key? Well needless to say, NOT HAPPY. My ex came by, took one bolt off seat, and MAGICLY GOT MY KEY. I would not call this company to unlock shit. They could not have cared less that day, me, you no get ANY business or recomdation from Me. Pissed me off.

Absolute worst. They flat out didn’t show up for a 1am scheduled re-key appointment that my business depended on. After I called and called with no response, I finally got a groggy call from the technician, Jake, an hour late at 2am saying that he «fell asleep». I can’t believe this. I depended on these jokers for a business emergency and set up an appointment 4 days in advance, and they let me down. Also, don’t be fooled by their so-called «24 hour service». I was only able to reach a messaging service after hours that was little or no help in reaching any human being. I ended up calling another locksmith and reached a technician immediately do the job these guys failed miserably at. Never use these guys.

We’ve been here twice, once to get a couple key copies, and another time to get key copies that actually work.
Well, after two tries with a simple house key, we got keys that sorta work. Not wanting to go back to the store yet again, we thought «good enough.» We rarely need the keys — mostly just for out of town guests staying with us. When we got a dog walker, one day the key just got jammed and she couldn’t get in (and every day was a hassle).
Most of our experience before has been with regular hardware stores. These have been cheaper (though the key blanks are not as good quality as Locks & Keys), and while sometimes they don’t work either, it’s still cheaper to get 1 – 2 extra copies just in case.
We will not be going back here, as it’s just too much hassle.

It’s near impossible to find a place in Boston that can cut sidewinder keys. This place is a little bit of a hike but it was only 10 or 15 minutes up I-93 so not too bad. They also offer a ‘we-come-to-you’ mobile locksmithing service but it wasn’t really an emergency so I didn’t feel I could justify the extra fee. I dropped off my key and blank (purchased from the dealership since it’s a transponder key), got a quick bite to eat while the guy cut the key, and was out of there in about 20 minutes. Friendly service and the key works perfectly.

I came home to find myself looked out. I panicked because I had a major presentation tomorrow and did not know what I was going to of because my computer was locked in my condo. I called many lock smiths, however no one was available immediately. I called RF locks and Ray the lock smith answered the phone and said he was completing a job and would be here immediately. 15 mins later, he was at my door. He explained to me that I had high security, interconnected locks on my front door, protected/shielded by newly installed side guards. He systematically took the side guards and opened the door by using airbags. The airbags, without the side guards to block them, fit into the door and separated it from the frame in order to snap the latch open. He snapped the latch open with a flat head screw driver. The whole job, including coming out to me, took no more than 25 mins, with no damage to the frame, door or the lock. In addition to his speed, the other thing I really liked is that he is so reasonably priced and fair with me. I highly recommend this honest and fair lock smith to anyone who would need help.

Awesome help. Got locked out of my car one evening and the locksmith made a miserable experience almost tolerable. Took a little longer than originally quoted to get there but kept in touch (called us on the way for an update, he had some difficulty w traffic). Fast and efficient when he got there!

I was looking to have 2 copies of a key for my business made. I called Locks & Keys, gave them the name of the lock manufacturer and asked if they could do the job at the mall store. The answer was ‘yes’ so I drove 15 miles to the store only to be told «Uh, no, we don’t have that key in stock». Seriously? I called and you said yes. They wasted an hour of my life and I will never trust them again.

Such a great experience!
I needed to get a copy of my apartment key made, the key itself opens two different doors, and one locksmith I went to said «in 26 years I have never seen a key like this ever before. Sorry». I scoured the internet, emailed Locks and Keys and they called me back almost immediately. The gentleman was incredibly nice on the phone and made sure to ask questions BEFORE making me drive out to him. I went to the Woburn mall, where he not only made the key (which works better than the key I got from my apartment complex), quite quickly and for a VERY resonable price, he told me if I had any issues to bring it back and he would cut me a new key for no additonal charge! I didn’t need to, but I will be coming here for all my key needs!
So friendly, more than reasonably priced and GREAT customer service.

My car had a faulty ignition lock, which was a known issue for the model and should have been recalled. Today the key got stuck in the lock and the car could not be started or the key removed. I called AAA and they referred me to Locks & Keys in Woburn. Michael S. showed up and very quickly got my problem solved. He was professional, courteous, and nice about explaining what was going on. They provided an estimate before coming and did his best to fix my key problem without breaking the key or doing time-consuming or expensive drilling. I highly recommend him and his company. I’d give 5 stars, but they were a little slow (not a problem since I was at work and I did not insist they come faster). Looks like they need another guy, who I hope is as good as Michael.

I’m a business owner in Beverly, MA and had to get a lock changed at my shoppe. I called almost every locksmith here in Beverly — as I like to patronize local businesses — but none of them answered their phones or returned any of the messages that I had left previously on their voicemail systems.
I Google’d locksmiths local to the area and by chance came across Locks and Keys. I called and surprisingly someone answered! She said that the locksmith wasn’t in until 10:00AM but she’d get them my info as soon as they were in. In less than 10 min their locksmith had returned my call and that was at 9:45AM! He told me that he’d be here within ½ and hour (we’re a short jaunt up Rte. 128 N from their home base in Woburn) and HE WAS!
He was friendly and professional and got the job started IMMEDIATELY. Within ½ an hour we had a new lock and a set of keys. I was pleasantly surprised by the price which was VERY reasonable.
From now on, I will be calling Locks & Keys and asking for Rick. Not only for my business needs but for personal lock needs as well *and* I will be referring them to other local businesses and friends. The fact that he was here promptly and was friendly and fast won me over — BIG TIME.
Sorry Beverly locksmiths, you blew it. Locks and Keys WINS. Thank you, Rick!

If you’re having trouble getting a key copied at Home Depot or Lowes — go here. They have WAY more blank keys on-site and will absolutely be able to do it for you. I had them copy a mailbox key — no problem. Cheap, too. Usually nice people work here too. I really like the place. Been here forever, too…

This business is located inside the Woburn Mall, adjacent to my favorite place — DSW!
The staff is very friendly here, and they’re quick.
Getting 2 sets of keys to my apartment made took about 3 minutes, and cost like $ 6. Cheap, and they have awesome key covers!
That’s all there is to say about this place. Needs keys? Rock on.
