History

Established in 1998.

Established by Dr. Michael Erdos with the goal of providing exceptional instruction in CPR and FIrst-​Aid to the Lay Rescuer as well as professional level instruction in CPR and for the EMT program.

Students in our classes often remark that they learned more in our classes than any other CPR class they have taken. In addition, ERTs «pass rate» on the Massachusetts State EMT exam is close to 100%

Dr. Erdos, Medical Director for ERT Associates, is a board-​certified emergency physician, and has been active in the development and oversight of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the eastern Massachusetts area for the past 20 years. He has been Medical Director for the North Suburban Emergency Medical Consortium, the Region IV (Metropolitan Boston) EMS Council, and the Northeastern University Paramedic Training Program.

In 1993, he was named Massachusetts EMS Physician of the Year. He served as the Massachusetts State EMS Medical Director from July, 2001 to February, 2003. In addition to his clinical practice, he participates in and oversees a wide variety of Emergency Response Training courses, including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) courses and CPR, First Aid, Pediatric First Aid, CPR for Family and Friends, and BLS Instructor courses.
