Expensive day-be prepared. The food they offer is good in appearance plenty offered per plate, it looks better than it tastes for some of the options. We had 5 ppl so we had a variety at the table burgers to steak and pasta. Stick to the burger is your best bet. Our waitress was a bit short on the attention span scale and abrupt. They’ve got all these«hostesses/waitresses» I don’t know exactly their point there, hanging around primping themselves chit chatting while the(excuse me for this) «plainer/older» looking waitresses did the bulk of the work. The bill can easily get away from you, there’s a 2.00 activation fee for each play card(so keep your cards once you purchase them) after you choose your meal and add on tokens for your card you’ve averaged about 30.00 a person give or take. We were diligent about sticking to the amount in our cards and not adding more money to them. I’m so glad we did. My best advice would be to roam the game room and see what games you want to play first. Think it will keep you from randomly dropping tokens into a game you have no clue how to play and end up loosing in 5 seconds. The redemption room has a fair enough point prices so that wasn’t bad. We had our teens combine all their points plus gave them ours. It was Fathers Day so we indulged and had a good afternoon. Lastly; a lot of small children running around not being watched! This made me a nervous wreck as anyone can grab one of them in this over crowded situation. It’s NOT Chucky Cheeses you need to keep your eyes on your kids here ppl!

I have my experience for the first time, I like the games that they have but the food was kind of okey. I ordered Salmon but it was kind of not good.

Fun games, good food, AWFUL service. We come here quite often because we like to play the games and enjoy a draft beer. However, the beers we enjoy typically take 25 minutes to even get to your hand. We sit at the bar during a quiet time and watch bartenders flirt with each other for 15 minutes and smile at you as your waiting to order. It’s ridiculous. This will be the last time we come here. I’d rather drive to Braintree.

To the redheaded crew-cut who almost served us yesterday(05/29/2016 at approximately 3:45PM), but decided instead to lecture us on not checking in at the abandoned podium to be seated: YOU are the reason we won’t be back. Here’s a little guidance if you aspire to other employment; customers don’t like condescension. Patronizing little gems like«OBVIOUSLY … this is your first time here» and«I’m explaining it so you’ll know the rules for next time…» don’t give me a lot of motivation to remain in your obnoxious presence, let alone have you handle my food and then(hah) tip you! I know you don’t give a shit. Your attitude made that obvious. But your boss might care. Then again, he or she might not. I no longer care because Dave and Buster’s is off my list. My family and I left you and went to(of all places) Prince Pizza on RT1 in Saugus, where we found a very young, but helpful and polite staff who gave us a wonderful dining experience. You wouldn’t last a shift there.

I had my first D&B experience at this location last weekend. I came with a group of friends after 10pm and we decided to get drinks before hitting the arcade area. As other reviews have mentioned, the bar staff was extremely inattentive and generally disinterested in interacting with customers. Two people in our group actually gave up on trying to get drinks because it was taking so long to be acknowledged. The arcade area is a decent size and has all of the expected games. It is convenient that your points and tickets are all loaded onto one card. The space is pretty clean but there seemed to be an over abundance of security staff that awkwardly hovered over/around people who were playing games. Maybe it was just because it was late on a Saturday night, but it was slightly uncomfortable as they did not interact nor smile once. After about an hour of gameplay we decided to get a table and some appetizers. Again, it took waving down a waitress to be acknowledged as the majority of the staff were busy watching TV. It is my guess that all of their food is frozen and then fried… nothing to write home about. The beer was good, mixed drinks were not(mainly ice). After waiting 20+ minutes for our check, we finally waved down a manager who was able to help us get checked out and loaded our cards with some free points for next time. I am not sure there will be a next time for me, but it was a nice gesture nonetheless.

Food is not to good. chicken wings undercooked with lots of red sauce dripping off them. Sliders where just ok and flattened like a pancake In a slider roll. Bartender was friendly ! Just typical pub grub??? What’s up with that ??? Anyway… place was so loud you can’t hear your self or others never mind the TVs… Anyways…I would t be back… just not for me… food below average at best… They want big money but they don’t won’t to put out a good product ! The 2 stars is for the friendly male bartender who did a Great job !

Every once in a while I get a rather overpowering urge to play. skee-ball. I mean, who doesn’t right? Recently I got this urge fairly late in the evening, and since I’ve never been to a Dave & Busters before a friend and I decided to give this place a try. Especially considering it promised us the chance to drink AND play skee-ball. Win win, right? Yeah, not at all. Upon entering, the only person whom was even remotely polite and friendly was the woman that explained the card system to us. It went down hill from there. We stopped at the bar and ordered a drink. It took us about 10 minutes to even be noticed by one of the bartenders. Even when she did notice us, she walked right by us and it took 2 more bartenders to finally come take our order. The bartender was very short and rude, quite literally acting as if we were bothering her by ordering a drink. Ok so sorry. We played a few games, it wasn’t very busy so we didn’t have to feel crowded or rushed. I lost a couple of rounds of skee-ball, but won a game of Mario Kart. That evened things out a bit. Not that I’m even remotely sore about losing. but anyyyways. A little after midnight we stopped back at the bar to order another round of drinks. A completely different bartender came over to us and in one of the most passive aggressive eye roll inducing almost lip smacking voices notifies us she’s already called last call and we can’t have anything. We make a simple«oh man, really? we didn’t hear or see anything about the last call», and she proceeds to go off on «yeah, well I did but you can drive 10 minutes down the road and go to the Tavern». Rude bartenders soliciting other business while on the job? Nice one. All in all it left a bad taste in my mouth and the customer service was atrocious. The appeal of late night skee-ball is probably the only thing that would get me back to this place.

This place sucks. The building itaelf is pretty cool, however, and the food is kind of like your average American chain restaurant(99, Applebees, etc) but a little better. My friends got there at 630pm, we got therr at 7 and they were still waiting for their food. We placed our orders and the waiter had to come back about 2 or 3 times asking us about our order and telling us my friends orders didnt go through. My boyfriend and I waited about 15−20mins for our drinks. And none of us got our food until 730−8pm. My friends waited an hr or so until they got theirs and one of my friends recieved the wrong order which was sent back. We witnessed another server/s place food down on a table and it tipped over but they still served it. At this point we were all a little frustrated because of the incompetence, but I felt SOME sympathy because I work in the food industry as well and it was extremely busy. It was pretty embarrassing. At the end, my friend who recieved the wrong order got his for free and we all recieved $ 10 cards to the arcade. The arcade had pretty standard stuff, most of which were mostly occupied already. It was crowded with people, and it’s annoying to have to squeeze by everyone so of you arent into being around a lot of people like I am this will be an absolute nightmare. The only time Id go back is to rack up tickets for prizes on days I think itll be quiet. BASICALLY, our server sucked, my coworker who went before me said her server sucked, we witnessed more bad server behavior from the other servers, and the food took way too long to get to us. The arcade is a clusterf*** of people and the games are pretty standard, air hockey, racing, shooter, random ticket generators, the prize store didnt have that impressive of a selection. For such a nice looking evironment I expected more and was largely let down

The Good As we all know it is unique. You have a place you can go that allows for kids and adults to act like kids and enjoy some games and games of chance to win tickets to get marked up prizes. Thats the fun of it all and that is why you go. The kid and wife had a good time. We were able to recharge our cards from our first trip and spent the night playing all kinds of games. A night out for the family for under $ 100 is a good deal in my book. The Bad Worse bar staff ever. Inattentive, no eye contact, no acknowledgement. Walk right by you and don’t even give you a «one second» or «ill be right with you» I have worked in the industry for 12+ years and its one of my pet peeves. Yes I get it, you working in a crazy environment with a lot of kids but guess what my money is green and I usually tip well. For the bartender with the long blonde hair, arm tattoo, no personality and no desire you would have known that had you acknowledge us even AFTER your co-worker had to remind you we were there. Not just to pick on you though the bald guy was just as bad as he wouldn’t even help either. Its a shame the service was so bad at the bar.

Great place for a birthday or just a fun night out. A restaurant and game arcade. The food is classic American — burgers etc. There are amazing drinks that are really yummy. Great selection of games as well. Typical arcade but for adults. You can play games to earn tickets and win prizes with the tickets you’ve collected. Can get really busy on the weekends!

Pretty good sized menu, lots of great drinks. They have one of the best cocktail menus. Waiters were super nice and patient. Good for kids and adults. I would said better for old kids though. I went my my husband and 5 year old, there were a good amount of games for him, but mostly games for adults. The restaurant offers food and game credit deals which helps you save money if your there to eat and play. Will definitely be returning

My boyfriend and I have visited a few times recently on busy Saturday nights. I’m always amazed at the amount of young children running around at 10 o’clock at night-I had thought that the whole point of Dave and Busters was that they cut off the kids at a certain hour, but I must be mistaken. A lot of the games are super fun and the cards are a great way to go to store coins, tickets etc all on one card. We «won» a free appetizer on our second trip, so it’s worth reusing the same card each visit. Drinks are pretty affordable and the $ 1 coat check is such a plus! Dragging around your coat while you’re playing video games is a drag, have this really made it a different experience. The food is good, typical chain restaurant food but I have no complaints. The nachos were great. The only real complaint I had was that the people working the prize room were kind of terrible. Literally did not even say hi, just took out card, scanned out prizes and handed back the card. Zero words spoken. Why wouldn’t you at least say«Hello» when you greet someone? I thought it was the oddest thing, so I watched for it the next time and sure enough, the same thing! So strange.

We arrived there early afternoon when it wasn’t busy and the staff at the front desk area seems to be discombobulated and not welcoming. The one who was tending to us was not informative and didn’t answer to any of our questions. What an awful start to making the guests’ experience not-so-special! We made our way to the bar area which was unexpectedly spacious! They had plenty of flatscreens all over so it’s the place to be if you want to watch sports and listen to parents yelling at their kids! The game room, 2 thumbs up! A lot of new and old games for all ages and it’s enough so no one have to wait long to play!

A night of video games, food, and drinks all under the same roof? Yes please! This is my idea of a good time. Dave and Buster’s may not be for everyone, but I think it helps to have an overview of what this place is all about before you go. I say this because of the several negative reviews they have received. It’s an arcade. If you’re looking for five-star dining and quiet conversation this is not the place for you. The Braintree location was my usual D & B’s destination until the opening of Woburn which is much closer to home. I visited the Woburn location for the first time yesterday and the only disappointment for me was the realization they do not have my favorite video game Fright Fear Land. I guess I will need to travel to Braintree when I feel the urge to blast away at animated killer clowns. You will need to purchase a Power Card upon arrival which serves as your token and ticket storage. Warning: it is easy to spend money very quickly so keep a mental note of how much money is on your card and how much each game is deducting. You can allot specific amounts of «chips»(tokens) on your card to help maintain a budget. The $ 2 «activation fee» for the power cards really does rub me the wrong way. I forgot my card yesterday and purchased a new one. Is that extra $ 2 charge really necessary? The atmosphere within Dave and Buster’s is very loud, which is to be expected as you are surrounded by noisy video games. The arcade area becomes very crowded with both adults and children, so you may want to avoid peak hours. During the day you will find a lot of families here, but by evening, the adults comprise most of the crowd so plan accordingly. I think D & B’s is a great date night venue. Nothing says romance like racing side by side at a simulated Daytona track. I had an amazing time reliving my childhood yesterday with Skee-Ball, high– tech Pac Man on the big screen, and Hoop Shot. No trip to Dave and Busters is complete without a quick stop in the photo booth. I also love going home with a tacky, but fun prize after redeeming my tickets in the gift shop. I noticed a few machines weren’t working properly, but I also took note of staff trying to troubleshoot and make repairs so that is reassuring. I cannot comment on the food at this location since we had lunch elsewhere before arriving. I think it’s safe to assume the food is comparable to average chain restaurant cuisine. The menu offers tons of appetizers including nachos, spinach dip, calamari, and more. There is also a decent selection of entrees –burgers, steaks, salads, pasta, and more. A full bar is available with a generous offering of specialty cocktails, beer, and wine. The only staff i interacted with yesterday was a bartender who was very pleasant and friendly. It was midday so the bar was not busy. We were served quickly. I only had a soda, but my friend ordered a Mojito. She expressed being pleasantly surprised at the generous pour and commented her drink was«better than expected.» I truly believe this place is so much better than its less-than-three-star status. It’s such a fun alternative to a typical night out for drinks and apps.

I came here on a Saturday evening looking to have some fun with an 8 and 12 year old, and their parents. We arrived around 5 pm, and while it was busy, it wasn’t too crazy and we were able to move quickly from game to game. When we left around 7:30pm, it was pretty busy and long lines were starting to form. I would imagine that if I had come later in the day or during a busier time this review would have been much worse. When we went the parking lot was already very busy. I found the staff at the door to be very helpful. But the staff inside the arcade to be almost non-existent. I did have a problem with a game, and while the staff did a good job of remedying the problem, it took a while to find anyone. Most of the games are basic arcade games as well as fancier games that are free on your cell phone but now cost money because they are on a big screen. The kids loved the games, as did some of the adults. We did not have problems with the games not working or anything like that, which was a nice change from other arcades. Get one of the cards they offer. It is the most genius move I have ever seen at an arcade. You mean I don’t have to carry around tokens and tons of paper tickets? Excellent. All of your credits and tickets earned are stored on the card. That made the process much easier. As far as cost, I spent $ 30 to put credits on the games, and it lasted my daughter and my husband about 2 hours. So unless you or your kids are really bad at arcade games or are picking only the most expensive games, you can get a decent amount of time from the money you spend. Best part of this place — the bar! How refreshing that I can let the kids run around while I go have a drink. Lots of creative sugar laced drinks were available, along with a full bar and good wine choices. Drinks were surprisingly cost effective($ 7 – 8 each) since I expected them to be marked up much more. Only downfall is that you cannot buy more than 1 drink at time, so I couldn’t get a drink for my husband while he was with the kids. That was kind of annoying and made me feel like I was underage trying to buy liquor illegally. While I understand the reasoning, they should at least give a 2 drink limit. What if I wanted to double fist? I’m just saying… I didn’t eat here, and I’m not sure why you ever would. The food looked pretty mediocre and the wait was very long. Go to one of the other many restaurants nearby. If you do eat, I would think you would be smart and put your name in and then go play the games while you wait, because you wouldn’t come here just for the food… right? Overall, if you like arcades, this will be a great place for you. It is loud, and busy, and full of kids, but it is amazing how much easier it is to deal with all that with a cocktail in your hand.

It’s a Dave and Busters so you know what to expect. Brand new building with quite a bit of space for both dining and the games. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the vegetable medley that came with the chicken breast. Nice advancement with the games in that the tickets are now directly added to the card versus collecting tickets and having them weighed. I also felt they had improved the TV coverage over other locations. Dependable choice and a good way to spend a snowy afternoon.

This place is much better than its average review. I have been here on two occasions now. Once on a Saturday night and another time on Saturday afternoon. First, temper your expectations… Yes there will be kids running more or less unsupervised, the food is glorified(and occasionally creative) chain bar food(think the TGI Friday’s or the 99). The drinks they serve at the bar are very appealing to the eye but hardly craft cocktails, they are overly sweet and glowing much like the rest of the establishment. Overall I had a great experience and would return in the near future. Seems like a great place to watch a game, have a fun afternoon/night of games and drinks, or even to bring my niece during the day.

We went on a Friday night after work for some drinks. The bar and the dining area was spacious. The drinks were tasty and fun. Prices were reasonable and the drinks were garnished and were great. Unfortunately, the credit card machines were down. They were able do it the old fashion way for food and drinks but we couldn’t play games. I would definitely be back and possibly even host work events here. Great place to hang out with friends, coworkers and the family.

Been to the Dave and Busters in Braintree and had a good experience. Came here for their opening night for VIP. Huge selection of apps. My favorites are the coconut shrimp, dumplings, Swedish meatballs and burger sliders. Oh yumminess!!! Least favorite was the chicken drumstick. No flavor at all. Also, VIP came with a pre-loaded $ 20 play card. Score!!! And lastly — bathroom is very spacious and extremely clean! Love it!
