Advanced Airbrush Tanning

Michele is great, My tan looks natural and I feel so healthy with a beautiful glow! She always fits me in her busy schedule and never makes me feel self-​conscious while she applies the tanning product. Also, her ingredients are natural, so there is no foul odor. I can’t wait to go back!

I received my very first spray tan… great and natural looking yes… began 45 mins passed my scheduled time. NOT OKAY. I’ll be back in the dead of winter when I desperately need one. I am also in customer service business including client booking portion and I never disrespect my clients by being late, let alone that late. Michelle is a great person with a kind heart and does a fantastic job. Not saying she runs this late every time but do not go on a time crunch.

Love this place. I think I just found AAT from a google search a few years ago, and the Unilocal reviews were good, so i went with it! I have been here several times over the past few years for weddings, trips, bachelorette parties, etc. Michelle, the owner, is so nice, makes you feel comfortable, and very accomodating. You could probably find a place that is cheaper, but the service wouldn’t be NEARLY as good and you would most likely get a poor job. I never have had any spots that looked weird, but i’m sure that if i did I could come back in & michelle would correct. The only complaint I have is that I wish i had gone darker! I am fair skinned to begin with, so the tan always makes me look less fair, more normal, and gradually each time I go back I ask michelle to make it a little bit darker. This has nothing to do with her though, just my own insecurity over my fair skin. Anyway, definitely go here!

Googled Airbrush Tan — and landed here on Unilocal. The reviews were great… and so I made an appointment. Great experience! Loved the color I got! Will recommend friends and will come to Advanced Airbrush Tanning again!

okay this might be a long one…
I mentioned the rave reviews about this place to my coworker and surprise, surprise she replied, «OMG I LOVE THAT PLACE!!!» Hmm. I GOTTA check it out now right?
I called Michelle to make a very last minute appt (called at 10am, appt was at 12:30 same day) and thank God she fit me as I desperately needed to be tan for my long weekend mini vacay. I was ill-​prepared, i didn’t exfoliate the day before and it happened to be casual Friday at work so I had on skinny jeans, wedges, a short sleeve loose black top and a bra. My tan still ended up being very even and lasted about a week.
Now on a tangent let me just say that I am pretty shy about baring my body, much less standing buck naked in front of a total stranger. Maybe I was feeling adventurous that day, maybe I just really needed to be tan but I decided what the hell, just do it. It’s her job to see people naked all day, no big deal.
Boy, am I glad I went! Her studio is in an office building that’s easy to find and has accessible (FREE) parking. Michelle herself is very friendly, very informative and I immediately felt comfortable with her. I decided to try it out for the first time with just a thong on, i wasn’t quite ready to put on my birthday suit just yet.
Anyway, the whole time she’s spraying me down we’re talking about anything and everything. You can tell she’s a very spiritual person who truly believes that every woman is beautiful; again, her vibe helped me feel so relaxed — even posing as an awkward scarecrow semi-​nude for 5 minutes!
I opted for the full body spray, it took no longer than 10 minutes. After you’re done she gives you a blow dryer so you can «dry yourself» with cool air. Then you get dressed and you’re all set! I came on my lunch break so seeing as how I had to go back to work afterward, i definitely COULDN’T go bra-​less but I would avoid it next time if I could. It wasn’t too big of a diff. but I could see the remnants of my straps a day later.
As everyone else said, $ 38 for whole body and no plastic, cash money only. I am a little disappointed that I wasn’t offered the first time visit discount but I just considered it as additional gratuity on top of my tip. She did, however, give me a rose quartz before I left. If I remember correctly i think it’s to represent love?
I can officially say that I’m hooked and I’m so glad that my hit or miss Mystic Tan days are over. For a few bucks more my even and beautiful tan will be guaranteed every time by Michelle. Granted the prices are pretty decent but unfortunately still a little too out of my range to go as often as I would want to in order to fully maintain my beautiful glow.
I recommend everyone to go see Michelle and try her out. You will leave looking amazing & you will feel even better inside!

I have been going to Michelle for about 4 years and she has been amazing. She listens to the client’s needs and makes them feel completely comfortable. I go for tans on a bi-​weekly basis and in my 4 years going to her have never been unhappy with my tan. She pays perfect attention to detail and is the best airbrush I have been to.

Perhaps I caught Michelle on an off-​day, because so far I am the only person to not give this place 5 stars. Having read all the glowing reviews, I went in with extremely high hopes. I’m sorry to report I was really disappointed.
Michelle was indeed very friendly and likable, and her prices are quite reasonable. Unfortunately, the tan wasn’t very good, and at the end of the day, that’s really all I cared about. It looked good the first night, but as soon as the next day, I had bare patches on my shoulders and shins, noticeable dark spots on my ankles, and other uneven areas. I made sure to do everything I was supposed to – I wore loose clothes the first day, didn’t exercise or shower until the next day, moisturized a couple times a day, soaped and toweled lightly, etc. Also, this wasn’t my first spray tan, and I haven’t had any problems in the past (at other places).
One good thing is I am fair-​skinned and emphasized that I didn’t want to look remotely dark (did NOT want anyone asking if I had gone on vacation), and she did a good job of keeping the intensity at a nice low level – just what I wanted in that regard.
Ultimately, I had gotten the tan for a wedding I was attending, and ended up feeling a bit self-​conscious about my appearance as a result of the patchiness – the opposite effect from what I wanted. I definitely won’t be going back.

The reviews are true! This place is as good as everyone praises it to be if not better. Michelle has made a me a believer in the airbrush tan!
After years of baking and frying in tanning beds booths and beaches I decided that I was done causing damage to my skin and was going to try self tanning. I did Mystic and hated it, tried hundreds of different self tanners and even tried airbrush at another salon all with the same streaky orange results.
Michelle clearly knows what she is doing. I met with her today for my tan and I was going to wait until tomorrow to do my review but couldn’t hold back.
I look brown and tan, my skin looks soft and even and I feel great.
Michelle makes you feel comfortable and at ease in what can be a very awkward experience and makes you feel as if you have been friends forever, telling stories and asking questions to get to know you.
I will return for sure and recommend everyone go and try an airbrush tan with Michelle– you wont be disappointed!

Awesome place! This was my first experience with spray tanning. Michelle is very friendly and great at what she does. The color looks really natural and not orange or stripey at all, which is what I was afraid of. Definitely will return for all future events! Full body tan is $ 38 for girls. $ 5 off the first visit and for referring friends! FYI: CASH or check only.

I wish I could give them 5 stars. But, the wait… Oh, the wait.
The long wait aside, the staff is great, easy to make an appointment, parking is a breeze, and the color comes out perfect.
A definite must if you need a tan in a pinch and don’t want to get skin cancer.
Just remember you can’t shower for 8 hrs afterwards, so plan ahead!

I got my first spray tan ever here recently, and it looks great! The staff were very professional and friendly. I had Michelle and she was great at going over everything I could expect to see over the next few days and made me feel so at ease throughout the whole thing even though I came in feeling nervous. She was quick to clean up any spots that might have made the tan look uneven, and my tan looks very natural, not orange. I’m so happy with the experience I had, and the price is great compared to other airbrush tanning salons. Will buy again!

my new tanning place for the rest of my life! Michelle is absolutly fantastic. she is such a doll. very professional and makes the whole experience so much better. u can tan however u choose so i chose to just wear bathing suit bottoms because i dont care if my woo ha is tan and that would be past my comfort zone. the whole process took about 30 minutes and she gave me a hair dryer to dry the mist so i didnt smudge and stain my clothes or car seats.
PROS
1. the outstanding staff… so professional and pleasant. my friend sat in the lobby while i got tanned (moral support) and they chatted with her and were so sweet and friendly.
2. the price. for $ 39 and a guarantee no streak/​no orange look… you cant go wrong
3. i wasnt orange and streaky after which has always happened with other sunless tanners *cough MYSTIC TAN cough* for once i looked like a bronze goddess. not effin Garfield
4. there was no smell after the mist was applied… usually sunless tanners smell like cat pee (at least to me) and this had a faint pleasant smell that faded before i even got to the car. hooray for not smelling like urine.

MYSTIC TAN = WASTE OF $$$ and TIME
Kim & Michelle started this business. They are the only two that work there and both of them are excellent. It costs $ 37 to do a full body/​face custom airbrush tan. $ 37!!! C’mon now, you can’t get any better than that.
You won’t come out orange, yellow, purple, red or any other color than tan! They keep records of how much solution they used on you so you can adjust (lighter/​darker) later on.
Kim & Michelle are complete sweethearts too. No problems getting naked in front of them! :) But obviously, the amount of clothes you take off is up to you. I trusted them to make me look perfect for 2 photoshoots already and have been nothing but pleased.
Just remember, they only accept cash or check! No Plastic!
PS. They can also correct your shitty mystic tan too… If you’re streaky, splotchy, Kim & Michelle can fix you!

Kim is amazing! She works by appointment only so make sure you call ahead. She’s located in an office building which makes it hard to find, but it really is a hidden gem. She knows what she’s doing and will get you perfectly tanned minus the skin cancer! After meeting her, I booked my second appointment… and I hadn’t even had my tan done yet! Prices are great too! $ 36 for a full body tan. Don’t waste your money on a mystic…
