C note Music, formerly known as Gilson Music, was started by Pete Gilson who’s love for playing and teaching lead him to start this company with one goal in mind, provide quality instruments at an affordable price. Whether a weekend warrior or your out pounding the pavement every day, we still carry the same tradition Pete founded this company on.

The previous owner and i have known each other for 25+ years and it only made sense i took ownership of the shop when he decided to explore other opportunities.

Im a musician and a guitar tech who has had exstensive retail experience with instrument sales and service after managing a store in my home town of Wisconsin Rapids Wi. for several years. I now look forward to carrying on Gilson’s long standing tradition of quality instuments and service.
