very unsatisfied experience. Cannot get sleep all night because someone was walking around and around and around all the time. The model is too bad and sound proof really sucks!

As they say, you get what you pay for… which can be great, and it can be terrible. As it turns out, the Super 8 in the Dells is by no means fancy, but for $ 40 a night, it was perfect for our needs. A comfortable, safe place to stay for just a few hours. No great bells and whistles, but I’ve stayed at more shady hotels that I paid double the price for. Bed was decently comfortable, everything was clean, workers were friendly… I was actually pretty happy with it(I expected a much different experience)

This place is an absolute dump. Our door didn’t work and they wouldn’t fix it. They showed us the«trick» to open it. It worked well, if you weigh 200+ lbs. the dryer didn’t work, the rooms were old and filthy, the rugs are stained and sticky. The people that work there are friendly, when they aren’t out front smoking. There is no fridge or microwave. The price was OK for the Dells. The wi-fi rarely worked.

Looks like the hotel has seen better days. Not very clean. The rugs were dirty. We had a room on the first floor and we could hear every footstep the people made in the room above us. It was after 10pm and annoying. We did call the front desk and they said they would call the people in the room and the noise did stop. The pool area looked all right, but one had to go front desk for towels –Instead of them being available by pool. Free breakfast was served in a small corner and quickly became too crowded. I really don’t think I would stay here again or recommend it. We decided to stay here at the end of a long, tiring 11 hours of driving and should have looked at other places to stay.

Stayed here with three people this weekend for a two night stay… Very affordable for the Dells and about a 5 minute drive to the strip, and the downtown area. We didn’t know we would get Water Park passes to Noah’s Ark and Chula Vista with our stay(for this month only)… Saved us at least $ 400 when we walked in the door. Rooms were clean for the most part(there was one myterious stain on one of the bed skirts)… Beds were comfy, I’d ask for extra pillows thought… You could hear people in the hall and in the rooms next door… and strangely, our hotel room door wouldn’t close shut unless you actually pushed it shut(probably just our room)… Missing in the room: an enclosed closet, an iron, and a safe. Pool/hot tub were nice for a late night swim… Free breakfast was free, so you know what that gets you. Staff was very nice, helpful, funny, and friendly… I left two credit cards and my drivers license in the room, they called me before I noticed I left them and put them to the side for me until I got back… and they didn’t just hand them to me, they called a manager to approve… All in all we were all happy for what we paid and would stay again!

Very loud throughout the night… We had to call the office at midnight to complain of all the noisy parties. Also if you stay here do not sleep on the lower level… The floors are old and every step a person takes in the room above you will be heard LoUDLY! The free breakfast was mediocre at best. They do included free passes to Chula Vista though!

Sleepless in Super 8. We booked a 2 night stay here. The first night we were up half the night because the people in the room directly above us were walking around a lot & the floor/ceiling is so squeaky that we heard every single footstep loud & clear. They then woke up around 5 am and we only got a few hours of sleep. The next night there were more footsteps from upstairs and a loud party in a room near us. We complained both nights. The only offer we had was to be upgraded & pay $ 10 more per night!

8⁄207pm arrival. Front desk woman was funny and helpful. Able to nourish the kids in the morning. — cereal, english muffins, bread, butter, jam, pb, OJ, coffee, banana, apple, crappy little donuts… your basics. Room was clean. But it smelled. Bad. Real bad. And it may have well had no doors or walls. People talkin in the hallway sound like they are in your room. People above you make the floor squeaky squeaky. I also, I was not told that there was a water park associated with my rate. I would have preferred to pay less and skip the water park as my goal was not related to going to a water park… I just wanted to sleep. I did get to to that… sometimes…if u r a light sleeper, better off somewhere else.

Booked this hotel via , the first time(and last time) I have used but not the first time I’ve stayed at Super 8. I usually have a very pleasant stay at Super 8’s, and the rates were attractive for the Dells. I say last time for because they claimed the Super 8 was«pet friendly», but that really means they will charge you $ 10/night per pet, plus you may not leave your animal unattended in the room EVER under ANY circumstances, not even in a crate, which I felt should have been declared up front before I booked my non-refundable 2-night stay. Totally would have stayed somewhere else had that been made clear. Continental breakfast — skimpy, and the large crowds of families that stay here quickly descend like locusts upon it. They do a good job of keeping it stocked with what little they do have, but it ain’t much. Also there appears to be lots of seating, until you realize that’s because of how crowded it gets at breakfast time. Room — clean(except for a stray hair here or there in the shower, but hey I don’t blame them) and relatively comfortable, kind of crummy pillows though. HOWEVER, the entire hotel recently has been converted to all non-smoking rooms, and our room was CLEARLY a previous smoking room. I don’t mind really, but if it bugs you make sure to ask beforehand for an always-non-smoking room. General — the lobby was nice enough, and the pool was pretty well-kept(pools always get a little grimy from kids with dirty feet and being used to make People Soup but that’s standard). HOWEVER, on the floor we stayed on(third floor) the entire hallway reeked like feet and public restroom sanitary spray, sickeningly sweet and gross. The smoke smell in the room was a welcome relief from the hallway stench. The walls/doors were also pretty paper thin in this place. Our hallway had several other occupants, as they were busy, and we heard them all whenever they were in the hallway, and I think perhaps the people directly across from us while they were IN their room. We had no problems hearing other people’s TVs or anything, but you could hear the next room’s shower going.

One of the most reasonable hotel rates I have paid to stay in the Dells. Summer and special events included. Of course this is not the place to stay if you are looking for suites, indoor water park, or five star accommodations. But it suits me just fine. They have an indoor swimming pool, a game room(one of my complaints is that half of the few games they have are usually broken or are in need of repair,) free continental breakfast(they put out a big spread on the weekends, not so much during the week.) Also, it’s open year round. My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend in mid-October. The staff here was friendly and courteous, and had no problems when we decided to stay an extra night. It is also pretty centrally located to most attractions and the Downtown Dells area.

We got what we paid for, that’s all we asked. I stayed with a bachelor party and we had a pretty good time in the rooms. It wasn’t the best place in the world, but it wasn’t a hole. It’s totally worth the cash if you don’t need a place with a water-park attached to it.

This place was very clean and well kept and one of the most reasonably priced in the Dells area. The rooms were nothing to brag about as they were very basic. I really don’t care that much about amenities as all I do is sleep in my hotel room anyway. If you are looking for a good vbalue and nothing too exciting than this would be a good pace for you.

This Super 8 was clean and quiet on the night we stayed. The rooms are not spectacular, but considering this is one of the least expensive hotel chains in Wisconsin Dells, I thought it was a good value. There’s a wimpy continental breakfast — nothing to get excited about.
