Dells Lumberjack Show brings a new brand of live, family entertainment to Wisconsin Dells. Lumberjack sports are an age old tradition still popular today.

The Dells Lumberjack Show features events such as the Standing Block Chop, Axe Throw, Spring Board Chop, Obstacle Pole, Hot Saw, Log Roll, and many more performed by professional lumberjacks, medalists and athletes.

History

Established in 2013.

Logging played a major role in the Euro-​American settlement of the central Wisconsin sand plains and the Northwoods (with timber harvest still a significant economic force on recovered forestlands across the state). The next time you’re admiring a vintage home built with pine timbers in the late 1800s or early 1900s, or wandering some of the beautiful woods around Wisconsin Dells, spare a moment to consider the magnitude of that history.

If you are in the dells you must go see this show! The whole family will have a blast. Very interactive with the audience. Funny! They are very friendly with the audience during intermission and after the show. I would want to go back every time I visit here. Don’t skip this show!

This show is a must see when you are in the Dells fun for the whole family! If you eat at the restaurant you can get a discount on tickets to the show, must eat at he restaurant first to get this deal!

Great family fun! The men performing were true athletes, and the humor was hokey in the best way to make kiddos giggle. We attended the 2:00 PM show, and our boys got to practice sawing with the performers. My Older son even got to participate in a contest for the longest, loudest «yo-​Ho» lumberjack chant. If you have youngish kids (10 and younger-​ish) this should goon your list.
