Easter Seals Camps

Note: I am not a camping person. I would have given it 2 stars, but really– I have not experienced better… but I spend a weekend here, with a group.
Good Points:
–Staff: the on-​site staff person was exceptional.
–Generally pretty.
–Swings! Wee!!!
–They do recycle. This makes me happy.
Meh Points:
–Showers, besides being scary gross camp showers, had meh water pressure
–There were odd signs in the bathroom, yes, I know its generally used as a camp for handi-​capped kids, but these signs about monitoring poop… we’re something else. You have been warned.
Bad Points:
–mattresses were cruel
–the place was NOT clean. We had to clean before we left and it was defiantly a lot cleaner after we left than when we got there. We found a rotting apple in a drawer and a big bowl of cut potatoes molding in the kitchen up really high on a shelf. Ewe.
–The sleeping cabins… the air. It goes beyond stale and dry. You have to leave a fan on, thats fine– but it only does so much. You wake up with a sore back, on a hard mattress and your lips are so dry… I recommend sleeping with chap stick VERY nearby!
Overall, it had its high points and its low points.
