Had the blackberry cheesecake. Not sure if it was the cheesecake that was gross or just the flavor. We didn’t finish it. The service of was great though.

I had their chocolate chip cookie cheesecake and it was DELICIOUS! I quite easily understand why they are called the cheesecake heaven! It had a very laid back atmosphere which felt very homey. Staff is very nice and helpful! Would definitely come back!

Ordered a slice of the chocolaté amaretto cheesecake and the peanut butter cup on a stick. A bit pricey($ 9 for the two) but very flavorful without being too sticky/heavy on the taste buds/stomach. Very simple interior — recommend ordering then sitting outside and enjoying the weather!

Be advised 17 broadway is their old address. New location is in the 200 block. Still very close to same spot. Great menu for breakfast and lunch. Coffees, desserts, ice cream… Something for everyone! Had a delicious ham and cheddar omelet with cream cheese in it, unusual but yummy! Vanilla French toast. I was stuffed and couldn’t even try the specialty cheesecake! The food and menu is great but the interior is just plain with a few simple tables, its an order at the counter type of place not dining but I will definitely go back again and again!

We come to the Dells 7 – 10 times a year. We usually stop in here for ice cream multiple times per visit. We just purchased 4 ice creams, when my 5 yr old has to go to the bathroom. …immediately. Guess what? The bathroom is suddenly blocked by a room divider & a sign reads«no bathrooms.» So my husband has to run across the street with him to High Rock, where they so graciously allowed him to pee. We will NEVER come here again. It’s no way to treat customers.

We ordered a bacon quiche, brownie, muffin, and cookie between myself, my husband, and my daughter and all the food was stale and dry like it had been sitting there for a week. Most of it went in the garbage unfortunately. The staff was less than pleasant as well. I would never go back and I would not recommend this place.

This place is cozy and great. Customer service is awesome. They get your drink and chocolate shake perfect. The deserts are delicious, tried the regular cannoli. I’m just blown away from their service. Will come back for an iced coffee when back in the dells.

This review is for the great service by Jessica behind the counter. She was very sweet and helpful, and has a classic beauty to her. :-) As for the food… the Cannoli were awesome… but for a place called Cheese cake heaven… the cheesecake SUCKED. 2 stars for food… 5 stars for Jessica.

We ate here for breakfast. I had the Havana, it was nicely prepared & served with fruit. My daughter had the breakfast quesadillas. They were delicious, she had plenty to share. My husband had the WI. Omelet, he gave it 5 stars & he’s picky. The pancakes for our boys were blah, they were similar to microwaveable that was a disappoint. The price was a little higher than fast food. Other than the pancakes it was a delightful breakfast. I definitely want to go back & sample the cheesecake

This place is right on the main drag of downtown dells, right next to the upper dells boat dock. The store looks promising as you walk in. There is nice seating and a freezer full of many types of ice cream and sorbet, as well as, a case of baked goods. I also noticed a chalk board with sandwiches, soups and other light café food options. I originally wanted to try the cheesecake, but I saw a huge date bar calling my name. The date bar was a huge block of blah. It looks tremendous but tasted industrial and not homemade. We had no complaints about the sorbet, but probably would not drop in again.

Best snack place in the Dells! Has ice cream, coffee/espresso, and fantastic sandwiches. Nice staff, clean open décor, and wi-fi rounds out the goodness.

Stopped by at the recommendation of a friend to try the cheesecake after eating lunch elsewhere. I wish we would have read the reviews first. Cheesecake was pricey($ 5 a slice) and not very good. It seemed to be dry and not as creamy as you expect cheesecake to be.

Not bad, not great, just meh! I would have walked right past this place if it hadn’t been for the giant sign on their window that said«funnel cake». I was feeling like a fatty and wanted some of this fried delicious treat! So we ordered that to go, and a scoop of «Superman» ice cream for my son. It was really, really gross. You know it’s bad when a two-year old boy won’t eat it. I mean, c’mon! The funnel cake was just alright. It just tasted«off». Maybe if I had tried their namesake the«cheesecake», then I would have a better rating for the restaurant, but I am basking this off of what I tried, and it wasn’t great!

My wife and I stopped in here on an impromptu trip to the Dells. It was our last lunch before hitting the road, and we desperately wanted a place that was neither greasy nor chain-run. We saw Cheesecake Heaven as we walked down the street, and stopped in. We each had a sandwich, which were grilled and prepared on some fantastic bread, and some complimentary biscotti, which was also quite good. I would come here again. This is a great place to stop for anyone looking for an alternative lunch spot free from the grease and honky-tonk that seems to clutter up Broadway in the Dells.

we decided to check out this establishment because of the name of the store on a saturday afternoon. they carry ice cream, cheesecake, and light café food. four of us shared two slices of cheesecake — amaretto and tiramisu. they were not good and at $ 5 a piece. the pieces were relatively small. amaretto cheesecake tasted like cleaner + key lime. the cheesecake crumbled/fell apart when you tried to eat it. perhaps the food or ice cream is better however this review is only for the cheesecake which was disappointing.
