Just bring your family or friends and enjoy the thrill of catching beautiful high quality rainbow, brook and brown trout in spring fed water. B&H is a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature, great fun for all ages. You are guaranteed to catch fish!

Choose from 2 ponds with small and big trout. We provide free fishing equipment and free bait and tackle. Pay for what you catch by inch — we’ll clean your entire catch for just $ 5 and ice bag it for free. There is no fish limit, no time limit and no fishing license required.

We can freeze and store your catch without additional charge until you are ready to take it home, or you can grill it and eat it at our large picnic area, perfect for family and friends reunions and parties. We also share great trout recipe tips!

Established in 1950.

B&H Trout Fishing and Bait Shop has been established in 1950 and is one of the oldest attractions in Wisconsin Dells.

My family went there fishing trout and we had great time. It’s perfect place for the kids if they would like to experience catching fish. My son 5yo and my daughter 8yo loved it. We caught 9 trouts in less than 1h. There are 2 ponds with smaller and bigger fish. The owner Ms. Kristina is a very nice lady, takes pride of her business and she pays personal attention to customers. We enjoyed staying for our lunch in her backyard. The store has good assortment of fishing gear, live baits some snacks.
I really recommend this place for families, fishing bait and equipment.
Fishing in ponds starts at 8am however store is open from 6am.

Great place for a event, we had about 10 people and grilled our trout on the grill. The kids and Grandpa didn’t want to leave
They have smoked trout, pop, beer, and snacks you can get as well.
They always have bait on hand alone with a great selection of tackle.

These guys are awesome! Used to go there as a kid and now came back with MY kids! Forget about waiting days to catch something. Get in there, catch some fish, and have some fun! Afterwards, we took the trout home and grilled them. Definitely the best trout I’ve ever tasted!

They are so fun for the kids. It is a bit expensive but exciting. You will catch fish! The trout are very taste and easy to prepare.

I have been here several times in the last few years. This is my go to spot on the annual kids camping trip. Perfect for «let’s go catch some dinner». The trick is to limit the amount of fish caught as the experience can get costly.
You pay for what is caught. No catch and release. So I decide beforehand how many fish I want to cook and work backwards. A GREAT experience. Always enjoyed the facilities. Last time took 2 — 13″ trout out. It took my girls about an hour from start to finish. The best part is the owner will clean for you (for a small fee). Total cost about $ 40. Well worth the priceless memories.
We grilled them up and they were tasty !!!

My family and I have been spending as much free time as life offers north of the Wisconsin dells for well over a decade. We have been lucky enough to be about a 5 min drive from B&H.
The owner, Chris, is as nice a lady as you’ll meet. Her store is simple but effective, and I always leave with what I need!
Smoked trout is to die for! And they always heavy fill my minnow bucket.
Best bait shop in the Midwest. Period.

My family had a great time. We checked out of the water park and came here for a couple of hours before heading home. There was no one else there and had the place to ourselves. Of course, my fisherman son kept catching fish and before you know it, we had 5 fish and were ready to go. The total was about $ 70…Yikes. I was almost hoping he wouldn’t catch much, but he has learned well from my husband. The guy cleaned and packed the fish in ice for us for our trip back to Chicago. It was a little pricey, but the kids were so excited to get home and cook the fish for dinner. We made great memories that day.
