I Opened my first bar when i was 21in Elgin Il, Leitners Bar @ grill, sold it and moved on to my second business, Bismark Submarine on 18^th street Chicago il, sold and moved to number 3, Yeeros Gyros in Bloomingdale Il, sold it and moved on to number 4 Timeout West sports pub, in Hanover Park il, again sold and on to number 5, St Johns Pub, in St John In, and Instant Replay number 6 in Carpentersville Il, sold both and got a place close to home in St Charles Il number 7 Nounos Pizza, sold that and was getting Out of «The Business» until my ex wife dropped a bomb on me went through a divorce and then found this Great Little bar in Winthrop Harbor Il, Wow what a gem. I spent the last of my money remodeling and updating and making it my own to display my many years of sports memorabilia collecting 16 high def tvs to watch all sports all the time on, serve awesome food, treat everyone with respect, and here we are today working on a great future to retire here after 28 years in the business.

Sports bar with a separate game room. We had the «Hat Trick» appetizer sampler, which had the usual assortment of deep-fried artery hardeners. My mahi sandwich was quite good, as were the homemade kettle chips. I will definitely go back.

Have always seen people sitting outside and have never made the stop in until yesterday. My boyfriend and I were on our way to another restaurant when we spontaneously decided to give it a try. We ordered wings, which were $ 0.75 each on Sunday and Wednesday which were to die for. The skins was so flavorful and sinfully crisp, not to mention the meat was succulent and juicy. We ordered the jerk chicken sandwich and gyro sandwich, and split both ⁵⁰⁄₅₀. The jerk chicken was moist and yummy, but the gyro was on a whole other level of deliciousness. The meat was flavorful and so fresh, and a portion so generous that is easily split between two. Prices are very reasonable, and we will definitely be back to order wings and a gyro. Definitely not just a bar (we had water), but a great place to eat!

This was my first visit to Time Out and I’ll be back. I had the Half Pound Burger with House Made Chips. Great choice… both were delicious. The burger was nestled in a soft, egg roll that was buttered lightly. The chips were cooked to perfection. It was 50-Cent Wing Night and it was packed so the wings must be good too.

One of the best gems in northern Lake County. One of the best burgers you will ever eat, along with lots of other great varieties of food. The owner is usually always around and is super nice and welcoming to all. The bartenders are also amazing and some of the best ones around. Amazing place to watch Hawks and all sports games too. Highly recommend.

I have given this place 2 tries and I am now compelled to write a review. On the first visit, my wife and I had just moved to town and were really looking for a great sports bar with a lot of TVs. This looked like the perfect place. However it was the staff that soiled our experience. Apparently there are reserved seats in the main bar for most events and we were banished to the back room away from the excitement. We decided to go elsewhere.
Just a few days ago I took a friend visiting here after a round of golf. We bellied up to the bar and waited, and waited… And waited. Once we were acknowledged, a look of «what could you possibly be doing here» greeted us with a side of «I haven’t got time for you». We ordered the 30minute (to receive) Nachos, which beside the unbelievable wait time, were subpar. I tried to make small talk with our bartender in hopes to learn about the bar and what is good to eat… with no luck. After 7yrs bar-tending experience I had higher expectations for the service. The tips must be amazing and require no effort as she missed out on a good night from us. We chose not to make a large food and drink order and left. I guess it’s a small town thing. We will not give it a 3^rd try.
