Anderson Family Catering & BBQ

Anderson Family Catering catered my wedding last month and I am so happy I found them! Tammy is truly wedding god send! She is very knowledgable and is such great resource. Not only did they provide the yummiest BBQ at our wedding, but they also provided all of the tables, chairs, linens and flatware/​glassware! I highly recommend them!!!

Anderson Family Catering catered a high school fundraiser at the California Auto Museum, serving over 200 guests. The food was great, the staff was professional, and Tammy (the owner) was more than accommodating. As in any large events, there were some unexpected incidents, but Tammy and her staff were so professional in handling the issues, and made the evening run so smoothly. Thank you Anderson Catering!

Tammy and family catered my wedding in August 2015 and everything was incredible! From the tasting to the big day, Tammy was friendly, professional, and detailed and answered all my questions. The food was delicious, the table linens beautiful, the staff friendly (loved them joining us out on the dance floor during the cupid shuffle!) and we definitely went home with leftovers. Highly recommend their catering services!

I recently hired Tammy and her crew at Anderson catering for my wedding and can’t speak highly enough about her staff and catering.
She was professional, friendly, punctual and just handled every aspect of our catering needs with grace. Not only did she provide great food, but she handled delivering the chairs, linens, glassware, cutlery, silverware, bartending service and everything else associated with the dinner service. She made putting on our wedding such a pleasure.
She also went above and beyond by making suggestions on how to set up our dinner service and how we can great the guests as they line up for their food. It saved us so much time not to have to visit each table!

Tammy and her staff are top notch!
From the first moment we spoke with Tammy she was professional and definitely knew what she was doing. Her business is small but don’t let that fool you. She is professional and the food is extremely tasty! Not to mention her prices are great!
When it came to the day of our wedding, Tammy and her staff were exceptional. They did everything within their power to make sure my husband and I were fed, and always had a beverage in our hands. This my friends, was amazing!
The food was delicious and everyone we talked to told us the same. I think the best part was when my husband and I disappeared for about 15 mins for photos with our photographer and when we returned, Tammy and her staff were doing the cupid shuffle on the dance floor. We of course joined in immediately! We later found out that our guests were being a little shy and Tammy and her staff helped them all break out of their shells and dance. I mean, what else can this amazing staff do?!

If I could give them more stars I would!!! The food was amazing and so fresh! There service is out of this world. They went above and beyond and did more than they needed! Everyone at my wedding was raving about the food and their Mac and cheese is a must!

I had Tammy Anderson cater my wedding this month and they did an incredible job. It’s a fairly small operation, and they get very busy, but she was communicative even when she had to wait to do something (like visit the venue) and I was never worried, which is essential. Peace of mind is really important while planning a wedding!
The tasting was wonderful, huge portions of every dish for us to taste and everything was top-​notch delicious… not to mention they met us at my dad’s place so we wouldn’t have to drive out! They had all kinds of options and can work with you on budget and customization. We had a large BBQ menu but they fancied it up with sophisticated salads and sides. It was very reasonably priced and I couldn’t wait to sign the contract!
When the wedding day came, they were perfect. They were hard working and worked under the radar, bussing tables and filling water and pouring the champagne for the toasts. The only time Tammy ever had a question for me was when I wanted them to start pouring the bubbly and when to serve dessert.
Basically, service and food are incredible and prices are reasonable. If you’re getting married in Northern California, take a look at this business, you won’t regret it!

Tammy and her crew catered our daughter’s wedding this February, and we could not have had a more successful experience (and this is not the first daughter I’ve married off, so I believe I have some basis for comparison.) As far back as the tasting, we knew we’d found a winner. The menu needed to satisfy both carnivores and vegetarians, which it did admirably: grilled boned chicken, wonderful grilled vegetables-​peppers, zucchini, asparagus, mushrooms, tender but with some snap and smokiness), stellar mac’n’cheese, a green salad, a Chinese chicken salad, corn muffins. The star of the show was the best pulled pork I’ve ever had, with what may be the best barbecue sauce I’ve ever had, and my standard has always been Oakland’s legendary Flint’s BBQ. This stuff is good!
The crew was hard-​working and personable, Everyone adapted to the requirements of venue space and time squeezes efficiently, and were happy to help us lay out and serve the portion of the spread that we had brought. The price was very reasonable. (I’d underline that «very» if I could…) I really can’t recommend Anderson Family Catering too highly. Try them; the catering will be the part of your affair you’ll have least to worry about.

I’ve been to a couple of events where the Anderson family has catered and both were fantastic. The food was tasty and the presentation was beautiful. Our family was doing the food for our daughter’s wedding, but I started to panic the week before the wedding about having some food between the wedding and dinner (during the picture-​taking time) since we wouldn’t be eating till 7:30 or 8pm. I talked to Tammy about making a couple of filling appetizers to add to what we had. She came up with some great ideas. When we stopped by to pick them up, she had added another beautiful dish. They are cheerful, accomodating, reasonable, and their food was a hit! Great to work with, and great food.
