Let me start by saying, I had high expectations when I bought this groupon for a keratin treatment and haircut. The last keratin/​cut I got from a groupon led me to my stylist that was amazing for 5 years. As she moved on, I thought maybe I could find my new stylist in the same manner. I easily made the appointment and it was confirmed by text which I like, since I work overnight and confirmation calls always wake me up. Anyhow, I arrived to the salon which has moved from a previous location but it still in a nice little group of shops on Park ave. The stylist gave me a cape, and asked if I had done keratin before, which I had, and I also mentioned that it had been over a year since I had cut my hair so it was very long. I believe my stylist was Mary, I was never told and actually had to ask her what her name was when she sat me down to wash my hair. Not really knowing her, I guess I expected a little more get to know you chat, but I was the one who actually had to ask whether they cut my hair prior to doing the keratin. She said you just want a trim? I said no I brought some pictures and proceeded to show her a few styles, and since I have thinner hair I wanted a shoulder length cut. She said she thought that a Jennifer Anniston LOB would be the best for my face shape, and she began to cut, explaining the back would be shorter but not dramatically so. That is where the talking pretty much ended until she finished the cut, and asked me about the length. It seemed pretty long still and was past my shoulders. I said that it seemed long but it was hard to tell because it was wet, and she started to get the keratin ready. I do have to note she got an industrial fan looking thing which made the scent of my keratin and the other patron’s dye undetectable, which I appreciated. She proceeds to do a meticulous job of applying the keratin, blow drying and flat ironing my hair, then using texturizing scissors to give the cut some layers and dimension. All the while, we are basically sitting in silence. Now I’m not one for overly chatty gossipy people, but c’mon, there was literally no questions or trying to get to know me at all! I could be a new customer, which is what I assume the purpose to be of offering Groupons. When she finished up, and asked me about my hair I was a little apprehensive because since my hair is fine, and it was hitting right below my shoulder, the overall look was more of a Rachel haircut from Friends, with the back and sides flipping up. I mentioned that it was too long and it was going to flip up, and defeat the purpose of a keratin treatment if I couldn’t keep it straight. I do understand that in general when a stylist has never cut a person’s hair before, it’s probably better to leave it longer than take off too much… however if I am telling you it’s too long, please don’t tell me that you think it will be too short if you take another half inch off, and that you were going off the picture. The picture had all but the very front of her hair cut above the shoulder, all mine was still a good inch below my shoulder. So to reiterate that I have had shorter hair and try to reassure her that I won’t go ballistic on her I show her a picture of my hair when I had a graduated Bob that ended just below my chin. She reluctantly said ok but that it would mean she would cut off all the layers. ??? So cut some more back in? Idk it was strange. In the end she did cut off about another inch and then I had to ask her to shorten the back more so it would work with the sides being shorter. Her technique and the cut itself were very good, but it was the lack of consultation from the start coupled with the almost complete silence that just made this experience overall not the best. I don’t know that I will go back here, the prices outside of the groupon seemed a bit steep especially when you consider I had to ask everything and really didn’t get a feeling like this was a stylist who wanted me as a repeat client. I gave 3 stars because she did fix what I didn’t like and the price and product used were good quality.

I bought a groupon for facial and microbrasion, I liked the place and the esthetician. she’s really nice and very professional. First Groupon was very nice. But disappointed 2^nd Groupon with the front desk staff, they mess up my appointment, and also no one called to verify the appointment.
I’m going to try another place.

I visited Una Donna Più with a Groupon-​I saw the Park Ave location and assumed this would be a good experience. The staff was rude throughout the experience and at the end told me that it would be an extra $ 20 to them to blow-​dry after cutting it (a simple trim)-not a blow-​out/​any styling, but to dry it. I left with wet hair.

I visited Una Donna Più salon when my friend told me about Sabina. I had a few horrible experiences in town trying to find a European trained stylist and wow am I happy I found her!!! She knew exactly what I wanted when I explained it to her and not only she did the most beautiful color and highlights on me but also recommended a special treatment for my dry hair that made it so silky and frizz-​free, and with the humidity we have here I can’t believe my hair looks the way it does now! She also cut my hair in like a matter of five minutes, she took all the bulky useless volume that made my hair look just square and gave me a stylish and very easy to fix myself haircut!
I’m really happy I found Sabina and her staff at Una Donne Più, the salon is also very clean and their attention to customers is on point! I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to finally find the best hair stylists in town! A true gem in the heart of park avenue!

Had an amazing time at this salon, I would defiantly go back. My service turned out amazing! I also really loved the atmosphere of the salon.

This place was terrible! Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! I so wished I had looked at these reviews prior to getting my groupon. I suspect that the positive reviews on Unilocal were done by the employees, not real customers. I purchased a groupon for the facial, microdermabrasion treatment, and the LED treatment combination. I called on Monday and left a message asking for a call back to schedule a facial. By Tuesday afternoon, I had not heard back so I called again. I informed the woman who answered that I left a message yesterday and no one called me back. Her response was, «What did you want?» No apology given. I ended up scheduling for Friday at 5:00pm. On Wednesday, the same woman left me a message saying that they had gotten my voicemail (from Monday) and asked me to call back to schedule, even though I had already scheduled at that point. Friday morning I get a call from this same odd receptionist asking if I can move up my time to earlier, preferably 3:00pm. I explained that I work during the day and it is difficult to come that early. She then abruptly said, «just forget it. You can come at 5.» I ended up agreeing to come at 4:00 pm.
When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist Veronica, who I later found out is actually the manager, appeared to be on her phone texting and ignoring me as I stood there so I finally said «excuse me.» She then turned towards me and I realized she was on the phone. She looked annoyed and put her pointer finger up in front of my face as if to say hold on. I realized at that point that she was the same odd and rude woman who I had spoken to on the phone before.
Claudia did my facial/​microdermabrasion abrasion/​LED treatment. The whole time I was in there, I could hear people talking outside the room, sometimes very loudly… very thin walls. I could tell Claudia was rushing through my treatment. Afterwards I spent a few minutes talking with her. I then looked at my phone and realized that only 40 minutes had passed since I entered the treatment room. I then complained to Veronica about how short it was. Her response was, «They are only 45 minute treatments.» I then pulled out my groupon receipt to find the treatment length, and she said with a smirk, «You won’t find the length of treatment on there.» Twice I told her that it was only 40 minutes, but she either didn’t care or didn’t listen. When I got home I checked online and found that they did advertise 60 minutes for the service. So I called them and asked for the manager. That is when I found out the rude and strange receptionist was the manager Veronica! I told her what I found online. She claimed that if I just had a facial, it was 60 minutes, but since I combined the facial with the other services, it was 45 minutes, which made no sense and was not noted on their groupon advertisement. Regardless, I explained that my service was significantly shorter than even the already shortened 45 minutes she’s claiming. She then changed her story and said that facials last as long as they need to, some shorter some longer, depending on the skin. She never did apologize and became ever more rude as the conversation went on. I realized I was getting no where, so I ended the call. Veronica really ruined this experience for me. In addition to just being an unpleasant person, she seems to be socially awkward. I’m assuming she is a relative of the owner because I can’t imagine her getting a managerial job with her lack of basic social skills and lack of communication skills. Very disappointing!

Amazing job on my hair! Sabina is a miracle worker!!! Go see her!

Visited this place recently as I was strolling Park Avenue and thought I really need a clean up for a hot date I had later that night… Sabina the owner of the salon was my stylist and I must say I loved the look of my haircut and felt confident in myself again. Rate this place 5 stars! Will definitely be returning!

Book your facial with Tanya! She is amazing! I had issues with acne and she helped clear my skin. She is very nice, professional and extremely knowledgeable about skin care. I’m actually getting compliments about my skin which is new for me!

Because of my experience here, I won’t use a groupon again for a haircut. I am surprised the salon didn’t have a lower rating on
. My cut was very bad, almost an inch uneven on each side and far more layers than I had said I wanted, but I didn’t notice until I dried it myself at home (she wanted to charge me extra to blowdry it). When I called, the receptionist was not apologetic at all, and seemed annoyed that I didn’t want the same person to «fix it.» Admittedly, Alex did a solid job repairing the damage as much as she could, and admitted it was done horribly the first time, but then I still had to tip her so I ended up paying full price for a haircut that was not what I wanted and required two trips to the salon.

Beautiful spa, great facial and haircut! Will definitely return in the future because my hair and skin are totally next level awesome right now.

I will never go again, poor service. They don’t know what they are doing. I had the worst facial ever!

Normally, I wouldn’t buy a hair groupon, but over 400 had been bought and the salon is on Park Ave, so I thought what the heck?
I didn’t want there to be any confusion about what I wanted, so I brought very detailed pictures. Medium brown highlights that just lighten up my current hair color and cut my hair to a couple inches below my shoulders. I even pointed on my shoulder where I wanted my length to be. I left there with brassy highlights and hair at least an inch above my shoulders. To add insult to injury, my roots are still showing about half an inch. Should’ve been a warning when a hair salon on Park Ave needs to use Groupon to generate business. Not even worth the $ 65.00 I paid, especially considering I have to go pay someone else to fix my hair.

I should of known better, but against better judgment, I purchased a Groupon for a friend and I for facials. You know the term, «you get what you pay for?» That’s exactly the feeling I left with, and that really sums up the experience!

So I would give it 5 but there was a miscommunication and my hair is shorter than I had wanted… but it’s so healthy and looks amazing. Sahar was super sweet and not too talkative but also not full of awkward silences. I enjoyed the service and ended up buying the biomega conditioner product (sp?) and I’ve got to say it’s by far the best gluten, paraben, sls free conditioner I’ve found and I’ve tried TONS! Give this place a try and get that tester of the conditioner! Guarantee you’ll love your shiny, healthy, moisturizer hair. Ps rinse with cold water to seal in the conditioner ;). Have already recommended this place to a few friends!

Definitely won’t be coming back. I live only two blocks from this place so I thought I would try it out. I had a facial appointment I came in no one even acknowledged my presents so I signed in and waited for over 10 mins. I had to finally ask someone to help me. Which the only response I received was she didn’t know where anyone was including the person who was supposed to do my facial or the receptionist then continued on with what she was doing. The receptionist walked in 5 min later with a shopping bag showing off her new clothes she just purchased, again too busy to acknowledge me. Finally after she was done she asked for my name and gave me paperwork to fill out. I waited for almost 30 min before going back. The only good thing I can say about this place is the esthetician was very nice. I feel bad she has to work with such poor custom service in the front, I’m sure she loses a ton of business from it.

Had bought this as a groupon kind of deal. I got highlights, a cut and blowout for around 60 dollars. Nothing special as salons go. Worth the 60 I paid but would never pay 200 dollars for what I received. Guessing the price tag is because it’s on park ave.

Lovely salon and good people. My wife enjoyed her visits there and highly recommends the place. They also sell a great skin product called Nerium which I use and recommend.

To make a long story short– why I will NEVER GO back HERE or recommend anyone go to this salon. Most of my issues were with the stylist. Her name was Sahar.
# 1 Stylist had me get my own smock out of the bathroom and didn’t bother putting it on me. I have never had to grab a smock at a hair appointment and put it on myself. Not very professional.
# 2 Stylist did not want to cut my hair short. She made a face when I wanted to cut it short like she didn’t like short hair. She kept bargaining with me as to how much to cut off– ie. will cut it an inch when I asked her to cut 2 inches off and keep it above my shoulders. She kept saying its wet so it will shink, but when it dried a bit it was still below my shoulders.
# 3 Stylist proceeded to visabily get upset when my hair was drying and it wasn’t the length I told her I wanted and I asked her to cut it shorter.
#4 Stylist didn’t ask me through the process how I felt about the length of the hair, I told her I wanted bangs and it was like she didn’t want to do that either.
#5 Stylist didn’t bother showing me the back of my hair when she was done.
#6 Stylist said if I wanted my hair blow dried it would be an additional $ 35, but cause my hair was short it would be $ 20. I have never heard of charging someone $ 20 to blow dry their hair after paying $ 60 for a haircut.
#7 Being my hair wasn’t dry before leaving I got home and had to cut some pieces myself because it was uneven.
FYI– Review by Natalie C. is obviously from the company. No customer would write a review like that– like they are trying to advertise for the Paris Hilton products and what the name of the company means– ridiculous.
I had a really good experience at Bonnie Vie Salon which is in the same area.
