Depressing, stinky, and weird clientele into plaid shorts. The bartenders were so-​so and the DJ was oblivious to the fact that he was playing completely inappropriate music for the crowd in the bar.

So we got lost finding another bar, and it was the best mistake I have made in a while. I do not know why people act like they are four am bars and show up at 12 when they all close at two, that to me is the mystery of Orlando. Maybe it is the recession and people stay in longer to pre-​game and save money? who knows. When we first go there is was dead, dead, dead, and unenjoyable. Later when more people showed up it was a lot more fun and we tried some of the jello shots that seemed to have no liquor and be super old, but just swallow them faster and you will never notice. Our bartenders did not look of age to be serving but they were adorable and sweet never the less.

We came out to Tom & Jerry’s last night for some karaōke. The drinks were good, well priced. They had $ 11 mix and match buckets. The atmosphere is laid back but not divey. The chairs are actually really comfy and padded, that was a nice surprise.
My husband did all the drink ordering, so I can’t comment on the staff.
The KJ was ok. His songs were… I don’t know, weird. I’ve been doing karaōke around central Florida for almost a decade, and sang the same songs 100 times in other places, his formats were just different and shorter, also in different keys than normal. Maybe his songs were all bootlegged, I don’t know.
Definitely a laid back place to hang out and have a few drinks. They also have darts and a few comfy couches.

This place looks like a total dive from the outside but the inside is actually really nice. The décor looks like an old Vegas lounge. You can tell the owners put some thought into the place and didn’t just throw everything together.
TJ’s is a nice alternative to the pretentious bars you’ll find in other areas of Winter Park. There is always a nice mixture of people that run the gamut from young to old and the atmosphere is really relaxed. They usually have some kind of live music or trivia going on.
The bar has it’s regulars but the bartenders won’t ignore you just because they’ve never seen you before. The service is good and the crowd is relaxed. It’s a really good hidden gem if you can manage to get over the fact that it looks like a mechanic’s shop from the outside!

For a dive bar, this place was good. Mind you I went on a VERY slow Thursday evening to watch my friend Joel play his sweet guitar. I was the only patron when I first arrived at 10:15 but a few more stragglers came in. The bar is actually pretty roomy and the tenders were very nice and took care of everyone in a timely manner. I would def go back to just chill and have a drink.

The prices are pretty fair and they have an ok selection of beer. Not the best but certainly not the worst. There are some games to play and a juke box.
It’s a pretty decent bar really, smack in the middle of winter park/​maitland, so plenty to do around there too.
I feel like giving it an Ebay rating. Good service A++ bar, would drink here again!

Tom n Jerry’s oh how you satisfy thee. I have to say this place is alot of fun. They have a good nightly crowd that is friendly and there are always a good amount of people that are there to close the bar down.
I usually check out T n J after work and whenever I say Im going to only get one or two, I usually end up spending 20-​or so, which is not bad. Lucy is a great bartender and she usually hooks it up for us a little bit because we are such regulars. BUt other than that its just a dive, its alot nicer than your average hole in the wall. Its got a nice outdoor patio area with darts, both digital and old school. Its got cornhole, they have a dj on the weekends and I think they do trivia on wednesday or thursday nights. Its a cool little place, I recommend checking it out if your bored or are in the area looking for a decent cocktail at a decent price. you will find yourself drinking the night away at Tom n Jerry’s before you know what happened.

I’ve been a little scared for years by the look of the place, but I heard good things, so I took a boy and went. It really isn’t so bad once you get around to the back. I rather liked the feel of the place and that the bartender was friendly and helpful. I’m not a fan of smoke though and it was a little too heavy on it for me. It would be great if they started serving snacks and improved the indoor air quality!

This place reminds me of one my local haunts in Chicago, just a bit smaller.
A true dive bar, Tom & Jerry’s has a very unassuming façade… one that may be more rough-​around-​the-​edges than cool watering hole.
However, the cool-​watering-​hole description is what sticks. Multi-​faceted DJs, trivia nights, and happy hour specials is what keeps this bar interesting.
I would come here regardless, based on my Chicago nostalgia, but it;s a chill, laid back bar that plays decent music… all whilst serving reasonable priced drinks. Plus, they have a jukebox that houses the entire Rolling Stones catalog. That definitely ups their coolness factor!

Last time I was at Tom and jerrys I witnessed a guy peeing in the bushes in the back patio. I enjoyed lounging out there until they put the corn hole boards up… Since then it just feels like a frat party. The bartenders are all sweet, personable and efficient. Oh and prices are reasonable!

I went to this lounge for the first time this past Saturday the 23^rd. I had a wonderful experience. There was lots of sitting space from couches to booths. We sat outside and drank in their enclosed patio! You can play darts, or sand bags all while listening to a live band.

I was intrigued by the exterior of this place, looks so divey, and wanted to investigate. Through word of mouth research, I learned it is pretty legendary and known by true locals of Orlando, at least those that reside in North Orlando. I also learned there used to be a drive-​thru window back in the day, for those that wanted their vodka to go.
I’ve been here several times, both for happy hour and later in the evening. There is an olio of people, young and old, locals, people just stopping for a drink after work and people that look like they never left the barstool. It’s a good neighborhood bar and an excellent pit stop en route to Red Fox lounge or maybe even afterwards.

Never judge a book by its cover? That’s Tom and Jerry’s! This place looks a little frightening from the outside (especially since there is a VW bug on a pole outside the place), but inside it is quite lovely. I went on a Friday night and it was a little loud in there with the live singer. It was also a little too cold to take advantage of the patio. Overall, cool place. I would go back!

I like hitting up T & J’s for the Happy Hour. Can’t beat the 2 – 1 drinks, plus it’s close to my house. The inside gets a bit smokey for my liking, but the outside feels like a good friend’s back yard, equipt with dart boards and a spacious patio. I’m a fan of the house wine, especially when you can get 2 glasses for $ 5 during HH. Definitely a hidden gem of Winter Park!

My search for a quiet yet quality bar led me to this classy institution. When I look for little quiet and unsuspecting dives to wet my whistle in Orlando, I tend to end up in a place whose clientele is uniform and boring. At Tom and Jerry’s, everyone belongs there! I like a bar with some diversity. TJs has young to old and all kinds of economic standings and ethnicities. Yet, despite it’s venerability, it has been able to stay off the radar of the mainstreamers and popularity chasers.
At TJs, you get that kind of classic piano bar type feel with some quality live music at times. When the live music retires for the evening, so do I. The reason for this is that they put on some easy listening that intermittently is tarnished by the sounds of terrible bands like the All American Rejects. I am basically a fan though because of the nice seating, the relaxed atmosphere, the live music, and the aforementioned cheap beer. You can find all sorts of people here.

From the outside Tom and Jerry’s looks like a biker bar. From the inside Tom and Jerry’s is an awesome piano bar/​chill lounge that sometimes offers an Elton John-​esque pianist/​singer with excellent drink options to enjoy with excellent company.
The best thing about this place are the trivial pursuit card decks they have available on the table for you to get completely stumped by the questions. After a couple of drinks I tend to get competitive and turn it into a sorta quizzo where you can’t call friends to get answers.
I would def recommend it. Don’t judge a bar by it’s cover.

This is a great alternative to the yuppie bars in WP. It’s survived the test of time, I used to walk by this place on the way to my friends house back in middle school.
It doesn’t look like much on the outside, but don’t let that stop you from going in. There is a lot in the back, and it is a full liquor lounge. The beer is priced fairly, and most nights you’ll be able to catch some live music.
The patio bar serves as a nice reprieve from the smokey interior. It’s a great place to share a few with some good friends.

Pretty sketchy looking from the outside, but once you step inside you feel like you’ve entered a cool old school Vegas lounge. Great friendly staff, moderate prices.

Tom & Jerry’s is one of those places that looks like an old abandoned package liquor store from the outside but is actually a very cool gem on the inside.
The sign facing the street is somewhat small, but there’s plenty of parking behind the building. The entrance is a door to the right of a garden courtyard in the back.
Inside, the place is decorated with rat pack type décor and there’s often a local musician playing.
The staff is wonderful and if you grab a drink and head out to the courtyard, you’ll find a nice quiet oasis awaits.
The courtyard is enclosed with a wrought iron fence and all sorts of tropical plants grace every corner. Welcome to the real Orlando, sit back and stay awhile, why dontcha!
