Flight Attendant Express

I am an aspiring flight attendant, so i have been doing research on flight attendant schools. I visited the Flight Attendant Express website to get more information. I was extremely turrned off by this company when I noticed how «low Budget» their organization was. When trying to view class schedule and fees the first step that pops up is requirement for a credit card and payment. This to Me is very suspicious, then I started recieving many phone calls from Vanessa, I emailed her letting her know that I was at work and could not use the phone and would like to conversate via email, she replied, «I am too busy to text you, you need to call me.» I thought that was un-​professional, If she claimed to be the internet director of the company, she should have access to a computer and take the time to write a three-​minute email!!. I finally called Vanessa, she answered with a «hello» (my first thought was ‘am I even calling a business.” I replied stating who i was and how we breifly spoke via email, she did not remember was VERY RUDE, and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, her attitude was horrible and all she wanted was a credit card payment of six hundred right away in order to start the program. I asked «how do I pay» she said through her directly, I truly believe this company is a scam… and would never proceed with the company due to Vanessa’s RUDENESS and UNPROFESSIONALISM!

Person in charge is «flighty» in terms of her presence and preparedness. The speakers had to work around when she might show up. She had everyone individually stand infront of room on the first day to criticize their attire and make-​up in a tactless way. For $ 1500, you don’t expect to get slammed first thing. The ironic thing is her appearance is not at all professional. Some of the guest speakers were worthwhile. Students had applied to an airline before the class began, being told that they would be interviewed during the week of class and she cancelled the interview because she claimed that the airline wanted to exclude some of the applicants from being interviewed and she wouldn’t have it. She says that if you do not show up for an airline interview for which she gives you a recommendation, she will never recommend you again. The gentleman in class got his own room, while others were three to a room. On second to last day, we were told we were going out to eat and had to foot the bill.

Terrance, you were NEVER one of our students. The person writing this comment obviously doesn’t know what he is talking about, because there are untrue statements made here. Our program is NOT $ 1500; it is only $ 1300. The statement about the airline cancelling is just not true. The airline was cancelled by me because i did not want the fact that they only wanted to interview part of the class to destroy class morale. The wellbeing of my students is paramount to me; we are in the business of building self confidence. We do not criticize students; we give guidance but we do not sugar-​coat anything. I «show up» in between speakers, as I have instructors that carry the class very well and do not need me there the entire time — I am needed in the office to carry on daily operations and for some reason this person was unable to understand that concept. I feel this individual was probably either a spy sent by one of my competitors or one of the older women here who weren’t familiar with the scrutiny given by airlines in today’s market. Our students enjoy a 90% success rate. A portion of our classes is taught at the Orlando training facility of JetBlue Airways, and if these things were really true that we are being accused of, I am confident that JetBlue would not allow us to teach there. Airlines regularly attend to interview our students, and most DO get hired if they actively pursue their goals. Make sure you get your facts straight, «Terrance».
My advice: Save your money folks. Ask her to prove the 90% success rate. Hogwash.
