Dr. Gonzalez has been practicing in Winter Park since 1996. When you come to Central Florida Dermatology, your skin disorders will be evaluated and treated by Dr. Gonzalez, a Hardvard and Dartmouth trained medical doctor with over 17 years experience, and not just by a physician assistant or nurse practioner as most practices do nowadays. His extensive training and experience allows Dr. Gonzalez to diagnose and treat some of Central Florida’s most challenging skin disorders.

We provide evaluation and treatment of all conditions of the skin, hair and nails including cosmetic or appearance related concerns.

Dr. Gonzalez specializes in the treatment of skin cancers and melanoma, and laser treatment of a variety of skin conditions.

History

Established in 1996.

When Dr. Gonzalez opened his doors in 1996, he sought to provide the best medical dermatology services to area patients. Dr. Gonzalez’s long standing reputation for excellence in identifying and diagnosing all levels of skin disorders, from the everyday to the rare disorders, is a testament to his achievement of this goal. His exceptional knowledge and training is sought out by patients as far as South Florida, the West Coast of Florida and beyond. We have been honored to care for our own patients as well as those referred to us by the area’s leading primary care physicans and specialists.

Dr. Gonzalez is a skilled and experienced specialist in all matters of the skin. He started his private practice in Central Florida in 1996 and has been providing quality care to his patients of all ages ever since. During this time, Dr. Gonzalez has been on staff at many local hospitals. Often times the doctors at these hospitals would consult Dr. Gonzalez for a diagnosis of skin disorders that were not discernable by most medical physicians.

Dr. Gonzalez is a board certified dermatologist by The American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He completed his dermatology residence at Dartmouth Medical School where he also served as Chief Dermatology Resident. Dr. Gonzalez completed a full Internal Medicine residency at Harvard Medical School. He also received specialty training in Skin Cancer Surgery as well as Skin Laser Treatment and Surgery. He earned a Magna Cum Laude undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico.
