Lake Ida Beach Resort & Motel

We needed a place to stay while visiting family that lives in Winter Haven. I searched and searched for a place that had good reviews. It seemed most places had reviews that talked about dirty rooms and insects.
Lake Ida Beach Resort is clean, very clean. We’ve been there twice now. The cottages have a kitchen, stove, microwave and TV. WiFi worked fine in both of the cabins. The AC worked very well and the beds were comfortable. Cabin 7 has 2 double beds and 16 has one queen. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked like it is maintained well.
Yes, it is an older property and shows its age a little, but if you’re looking for a clean, quiet place to rest, this is the place. Four stars becuase the shower in cabin 16 was difficult to adjust to get a comfortable temperature.
We’ll be back.

Great value for the money! This is more a studio apartment than room with full kitchen. The room is well-​maintained, clean and the staff is very friendly.
