Cypress Cafe

If your looking for a local place to have a good breakfast, then Cypress is it. Great food and great service.

We come all the way from St petersburg to enjoy a nice breakfast here! the food was very affordable service was friendly and accommodating, the food came out in exactly 7 minutes which was awesome. I highly recommend the French dip, always add the cheese it’s worth every penny!

Great please for breakfast, everything is delicious and the attention is the best. Definitely a place to repeat any time soon. I ordered the beacon omelet and it was great, my wife asked for a healthy omelet and my daughter asked for eggs and they came with hash brown and biscuit.

Wow, what a find, we live in Clearwater and was visiting family who just moved to Winter Haven from New Jersey, so they are not familiar with the area either, we were going to a different restaurant that isn’t far from Cypress Café and it was closed. Our disappointment soon turned into joy when we found this wonderful café.
From the time we walked in to the time we left we felt like family, our server was wonderful as was the Roast Beef Dinner, Chicken Fried Chicken and they even have Turkey Burgers, which was delicious. Salad and Soup Bar is complimentary with their Daily Specials, its small but has plenty to choose from, soups are homemade as is all their desserts. We had Iced Chocolate Cake with caramel and heath bar sprinkles, the flavors were amazing.
Winter Haven is very lucky to have this gem of a restaurant, treat it with love and respect, I wish we had something even close to this in Clearwater.

The food is good and the prices are reasonable, I’d say the best time to eat here is for breakfast. The lunch I had here was good but I’m not excited about canned vegetables, especially when I grew up eating fresh. So when I ordered collard greens as a side and they’re from a can I was a little disappointed.
Overall I’m glad to see them back and the couple who runs it is very sweet and welcoming as is all of the staff.
It’s a typical mom and pop restaurant that is satisfying, but a little fresher sides or homemade items would put this place above the rest and to a 5 STAR for me.
