Amazing Valentines Day dinner with great variety of dishes. Arguably the best dining experience in Orlando and look forward to the next visit already! Take the wine pairing if offered — excellent selection. Staff are amazing and make you feel at home. Get there before they get too nationally recognized that it will be difficult to book a table.

Amazing dinner at the Chef’s Table last night. 5 starts for sure. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. The choices for the prix fix are as good as any restaurant we’ve been to in Florida. Seriously, the food was so good, I’m on Unilocal the day after writing a review. Don’t miss out on this gem of a restaurant right here in Winter Garden. Recommend highly.

Great place for something different small portions so you can order a lot of different items to eat. Great service had a hard to find wine my wife and I hardly see on menus. Good atmosphere all though it feels really packed in. Will go back.

Wow! 5 stars for a great experience, excellent food, and stellar service. My husband and I came here with another couple for dinner on Friday. We didn’t have reservations, but they still got us in with 45 minutes. They have a convenient text alert to notify when your table is ready. Once seated, our very prompt and polite server took our drink orders. He made two custom cocktails and recommended a lovely bottle of wine. As far as food, we ordered two lobster mac and cheeses, three Asian beefs, one shrimp and grits, one duck fat fries, and one beef wellington. Everything was awesome. The lobster(you get a whole tail) was so well prepared. It was soft and sweet and better prepared than almost anywhere else I’ve had lobster. The actual mac and cheese wasn’t my favorite, but everyone else loved it. The Asian beef is exceptional. Very tender and crazy flavorful. The shrimp and grits are also amazing. The grits were some of the best I’d eaten. The wellington was fun, but I wouldn’t order it again. The duck fat fries were insanely good and had an awesome dipping sauce. Overall, this restaurant is a perfect five stars and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic prix fix restaurant that is as good as any restaurant we’ve been to in Florida. Seriously our party of four had was outstanding — from the scallop starters to the chocolate bread pudding. Very thoughtful combinations of flavors and textures. Recommend highly.

The Chef’s Table might become one of our new favorite GF friendly restaurants. My wife Cristina was diagnosed with celiac almost 3 years ago and today we discovered an excellent & extensive Gluten Free menu at the Chef’s Table. * Shrimp and Grits * Ahi Tuna Tartare * Seared Scallops(Not listed on Menu) * Quinoa Salad * House Smoke Wings All of these items are listed on a dedicated Gluten Free menu in — The Tasting Room — You will not be disappointed! On a side note, we also learned that the Chef can put together a GF course menu, should you want to make a reservation for their Chef Table experience. We tried their Chef Table about 4 years and it was a very unique experience. No wonder this restaurant has so many awards, including Best Chef Table and Best Tasting Room.

Can’t say enough great things about this spot! Food is delicious, service is personable and attentive. Craft cocktails abound and most of them start with house made infused liquors(I adore the spicy, pepper infused versions).

We went there to celebrate my birthday. I wish I knew how good EVERYTHING was. I feel we have missed so many opportunities. We have been there several times since then. We tried the wine pairing and were very pleased. Best foie gras ever voted so by the entire family in attendance. Love the duck fries in the tasting room the Brussels sprouts with blue cheese the shrimp and grits the chicken livers the lobster mac cheese. Several other things we tried were very tasty.

Had a wonderful experience eating at the Chef’s table. They take you through the bar/eating area and into the back, visible to the kitchen and closed off in a quiet, candlelit room. The Pan Seared Foie Gras is perhaps the single best dish that I have ever tasted. I contemplated asking our extremely helpful waitress, Taryn, for a 2nd Foie Gras in place of my Sweet Potato Bread Pudding. Now in my top Orlando top 3!

This place is superb! Between the excellent food, and the attentive, friendly, knowledgable service, you won’t be disappointed. The Chef’s Table area in the back is ideal for a special occasion — a three course prix fixe menu with optional cheese plate and wine pairings(two generous glasses with the appetizer and main course, and port with dessert.) Our table had two main waiters and others who served us during our almost three hour meal. It was absolutely luxurious.

We had been to the Tasting Room several times and love it– which is attached and more of a tapas place– since we recently moved to Winter Garden. We had been wanting to try the Chef’s Table and so we went for my Birthday to try it out. It was AMAZING! No surprise from our experience at the Tasting Room, the service was top notch from everyone we encountered, Nick was our guide on this 3-course adventure which is a tasty delight of the senses. Love the selection of beers, wine and Jerigan is great behind the bar if you want a cocktail. You can actually view them preparing your food in the back before they bring it to you as well. You have several dishes you can choose from for each course which can change from time to time, we varied it up. We started with this Mushroom and Chive Crêpe Torte(their signature appetizer) and the Diver Scallops for an appetizer. Wonderful! For our main courses we had the Duck Breast and Fillet Mignon– both of which were exquisite, followed by the bread pudding and a chocolate cake for dessert. Now I have had bread pudding before and don’t even really like it, but Nick suggested to try it said he didn’t either and this was good. I was full but still managed to polish the whole thing off, was just that good. Like most of the area in downtown Winter Garden the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This little gem is more than just dining it is an experience that you will want to enjoy. If you get the chance to go, you definitely should!

We’d had a week of Orlando resort hotel meals, so our SF-based team was in search of real sustenance. The designated navigator charted the route, a good distance away from the resorts and unnerving theme-parks and across some rather discouraging barren landscapes. Who knew our destination Winter Garden was a charming historical resort town that time had forgotten? We walked into an old-town bar/bistro with some trepidation. A Chef’s best served here? After a slightly dispiriting wait at the front(we did arrive late for our reservation, having miscalculated the travel time), we were led through the dining room and into an intimate back room. The menu was a most delightful surprise: an intelligent prix fixe three-course dinner with a choice of selections for each course, with optional wine pairing. All for just under our daily meal stipend! I started with the hamachi tartare, which was eyes-roll-to-back-of-head perfection. My companions had the mushroom crêpe, a signature dish, and the foie gras. Everyone was happy and no one was offering share samples. My main course was the filet mignon, which I’d asked for very rare. I thought I detected some hesitation/slight disapproval from the host, but my order arrived just as I specified, gorgeous and so tender. My dessert choice was a peach tart. I think the Orlando taste might be towards a more sweet dessert, and this was a lovely offering in that style. All in all, an excellent meal. Well worth the drive, and a touch of comfort in a strange land and climate.

Wow, what a dinner. We shouldn’t have waited this long to go, book a reservation. The place in front was crowded and getting a drink a bit cumbersome. When we arrived, The bartender wouldn’t serve me and I needed to wait for a waiter even though I didn’t have a table. When they arrived the drinks were well made and generous. In the back our waitress was the best, no rush and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent.

This is a wonderful gem we found last year and come here on special occasions. We have not yet tried the tasting room, and I believe this is why I would not give them a 5 star rating. So, I’ll elaborate on my thoughts and experiences here. For starters, they are priced well. some people would argue to say$ 55 a person is unreasonable but look, you get what you pay for along with the perks to dining out.(Ex: no dishes, knowledgeable staff, catered to, and great food!) Any dedicated restaurant with a chef that takes pride in his work will charge something close to this amount or more. I truly feel it is priced well. Everything served is quality and unique. In our two dining experiences we tried to switch up what we ordered to try more. Completely loved the foie gras.(Please excuse if I mess up sorting) the mushroom app was amazing as well! We had a shrimp dish that was dish as well! For entrée the first visit my husband had the pork chops which were literally the best pork chops I’ve ever tasted! The second visit was a grouper which was very good, but still pork chops win for me! I had the lamb chops first visit over a red wine risotto, which were phenomenal! My only complaint is the risotto was salty for me. Eh, not a big deal though, the lamb was great! Second visit I had the filet which was very good but I will say I did have to send it back to cook more and even then it was such a thick piece it wasn’t exactly how I wanted but it was still good :-) it was a little tough for a filet but that is just my opinion. Hands down I would not hesitate to order the lamb chops and pork again! I went get into dessert so this isn’t drawn it but it has all been great for us! Ok besides the quality and taste of food, the waiter and waitress we had both times were extremely knowledgeable and knew how to do their jobs extremely well. The restaurant industry isn’t always easy but this staff is great. Oh the cocktails are awesome too fyi! The only reason this restaurant will not get a5 star is bc of the set up between the tasting room and the dining area. It is in the back by the chefs but is still affected by the noise in the tasting room and that may not necessarily be the sing you expect for a nice dining romantic experience. So I guess it’s the ambience that can sadly be affected. Floors are slippery too so be careful in heels ladies! Overall it’s a great experience with great food! The portions are smaller that some restaurants but not unreasonable. We walked out of there both times completely full and perfectly satisfied. This made me happy bc there is no waste of food and I felt I got to taste a variety of well put together meals. Overall, it’s a great restaurant! Check it out!

We went here on a Monday right before happy hour ended. They had four dishes(tapas-style) offered for happy hour at $ 5 each. As soon as we came in, the seating hostess let us know that we can sit where ever we wanted. The restaurant is dimmed and tables are somewhat close to each other. We ordered three of the happy hour dishes(Titusville fritters, livers, and tacos). They tasted good, but I should have waited a little before ordering because we got in about 5 minutes before happy hour ended. The other shared dishes on the menu sounded better, as most of our order was fried. We also ordered the beet salad and foie gras. Because beets weren’t in season, they didn’t really have any taste except for the balsamic on top of it. The foie gras was a pretty dish, and was tasty. The honey made it very, very sweet. Overall, a really good place to bring a lot of people to try all the tapas style dishes. Will try to come back to try the prix fixe menu.

Excellent meal! Had the Cuban sandwich. Fries were incredible, sandwich could have been a little crisper. Place was empty on a Saturday afternoon guess all the action is at the market and across the street. Would make one suggestion to this and other restaurants. You should always send out a female server to wait on single male customers. The dude on dude transaction is uncomfortable for both.

Everything about our Chef’s Table dining experience was amazing — the service, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere. My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were so impressed by the whole experience — we plan to come back for many more special occasions! Our server, Nick, was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Every dish he described sounded absolutely divine. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, everything was just that good! I ordered the foi gras(so dreamy), the fish of the day(fresh and delicious) and the cheesecake(heavenly). Definitely worth the price and visit! Tres romantic!

This experience is worth the drive and money for a well-catered meal and perfect dining experience! Looking for a place away from the touristy draw of Orlando? Want incredibly flavorful and well-crafted food? Then the Chef’s Table is the place to go. Out in the Winter Garden area, about 30 minutes away from the main attractions, is a restaurant behind a restaurant. The Chef’s Table offers the chef’s table experience with personalized care from a server, a changing menu throughout the year, food to meet a variety of food desires. My experience was simply incredible. The server was more than attentive and did a great job of answering any questions we had about the meal, Orlando restuarants, Orlando to-do’s, the history of Chef’s Table and Winter Garden, and so much more. The server was never hovering and never too far from the table to know what we needed. She knew the menu and the preparations to the T. Now, let’s not forget the best part: The Food. From pre-meal bread roll to Appetizer and through dessert, every piece was perfect. A savory paired perfect with a little sweet. Mushroom torte and Foie gras are not to be missed. Our dinners included the black grouper and the pork chop. Both were cooked perfectly. The chop had me brimming with exciting nearly passing out at the table from sheer bliss. Served Med-rare to med, the chops were served over tasty mash potato and the best candied collared greens ever. An apple cider jam atop the chops added a little salty sweetness to the whole dish. Complete with enough food to overwhelm hungry foodies, Chef’s table does not skimp on portions. Dessert was awesome too(as if the first two courses weren’t enough). the bananas foster bread pudding is the way to go. We also tried the chocolate crème brûlée, but I must warn you about it. Unless you are a choco-holic, I would avoid the temptation to try it. Essentially, you’ll be eating delicious chocolate pudding with the iconic sugar top of a crème brûlée. So, this reviewer says, bread pudding all-the-way.

We came for a birthday dinner here. Where do I begin… We opted for the cheese platter first although they recommend it for the end of the meal, we felt we wouldn’t be in the mood for it then. It had wonderful pairings with the different cheeses each so complimentary to the flavors of one another. A must if you are a cheese lover well worth the extra 15 $ to the set menu. We then were brought the starters. This is where you may have the best froie gras of you life!!! A must must must!!! So incredible, crispy seared on the outside and laid upon a panko crisp crust; delicate and a taste of class. Fantastic would come back just for that! We had the mushroom torte also which had a fantastic creamy sauce which was another winner. For main course we had a rack of lamb and filet while we were excited for the rack of lamb the filet min was hands down the exceptional winner. the creamy marscapone sauce paired with the veggies was exquisite. The lamb had a poor pairing the olive tapenade just didn’t cut it and it had too much salt on the skin. For dessert we had crème brûlée it was delicious. I’m still dreaming about when I will meet the froie gras again…
