This place is really old school and reminds me of places I used to go to as a kid. This isn’t self-​serve style — they actually have a menu and you place your order at the front. Aside from their menu of around 12 flavors or so of yogurt, they have other stuff like sundaes and shakes. I tried a few of the yogurt flavors and they were all pretty good, but my favorites were the cheesecake and peanut butter flavors. I ended up getting a cup of the peanut butter yogurt with oreo topping, which was good. The staff was also really nice.
Zack’s doesn’t have anything too exciting, but for a simple cup of yogurt or something like a sundae, I like it. Their prices are also a lot better than most yogurt places.

Great pricing and even better customer service. My boyfriend and I were new to the area, it was literally our second day in town. I was craving shaved ice and the 2 ladies in the shop made me feel so welcomed. Great customer service, I will definitely be returning!

I have to admit, I’m not sure why this was so highly-​rated. I had the vanilla froyo with the hardening chocolate. The froyo was okay, but not the best I’ve had, and the chocolate lacked the great flavor I’m used to from that type of dip. The person who made it gets credit for doing a double layer of the chocolate (one half-​way up while filling), so there was some care that went into it (and that bumps to 3-​stars from 2-​stars for me), but overall I doubt I’ll come back, except maybe to try the shaved ice.
Also, just so you’re aware, this is not a self-​serve yogurt bar where you pay by the ounce (which I admit is what I was looking for).

What a tasty little yogurt shop! I can’t believe I haven’t been in here before. The ladies working the counter were really friendly and happy to have us sample things. The yogurt reminds me more of serve serve than traditional yogurt which I am all about. I went with a hot fudge sundae with strawberry yogurt, it was great, even added on some walnuts! My friend got their version of a Flurry and really enjoyed it as well. Their prices are really reasonable for the toppings etc.
They even have a drive-​thru which quite a few people were taking advantage of. I will be back!

It’s hard to even begin to describe my love of Zack’s. The fro yo is beyond amazing (favorites-​chocolate, red velvet, PB). And the toppings… I don’t know what is in that cookie dough but it is insanely good (way better than the Pillsbury from the supermarket). And to top it off, everyone that works there is extremely nice.
Going to Zack’s was a Wake XC tradition, and when we go back for homecoming, we make a point to all go to Zack’s.
I’ve been living in NYC for 2 years now sampling tons of different fro yo, and none has topped Zack’s yet. Not too shabby!

I really enjoyed my first trip to Zack’s. The staff was really friendly and it was a nice change from the make your own sundae yogurt places. You can still sample their flavors and I tried the pistachio yogurt. It was really delicious and not a flavor you see often. I got mine in a hot fudge sundae. The price was reasonable at 3. 22. They also offered milkshakes and hawaiian shaved ice. I will definitely come back to back.

I discovered them back in 2007 when I first came to WS. Now that I’m back, I still love their favors. Great, friendly, & fast service. They have a drive-​thru. And they accept credit cards.

We tried Zack’s yesterday, pretty simple place… awesome soft serves. They don’t have any exuberant offerings, but we tried a regular dip cone which was creamy, yummy and satisfying! Thumbs up! They also have non-​fat flavors for which we will be back!
