Our DIY Moving Helpers service– we can offer a truck rental with moving equipment (for local moves only). Moving labor is also available to load or unload rental trucks. Call for pricing a rental truck or labor.

History

Established in 2015.

Winston-​Salem Moving & Storage was started February, 2015. The owner Chad Stewart is from Winston-​Salem. Chad has been in the moving industry for 28 years. Chad does all the estimates and has the experience doing in home site surveys. By doing the survey Chad will determine the weight and packing required for your household move. Based on the weight of the household Chad can provide you an estimate of how many guys will be needed for the move, the time it will take and how many truck loads it will take. This is very important skill, it will help you budget for your move and will guarantee you get a quality move in a timely manner. Nobody wants a bad experience, we have all heard moving is one of the most stressful life events. Chad can guarantee to relieve a lot of the stress when it comes to the budgeting for the move and moving process.

In 1987, Chad started in college working for Lentz Transfer & Storage in Clemmons, NC. Chad then went off to work for Ryder Truck Rental for 13.5 years in Winston-​Salem. In 2007 – 2010, Chad returned to Lentz as a Relocation Consultant and finished the last 4 years working for CORE Lentz Moving Services helping the company startup a moving and storage business from 2010 to November 2014.

Winston-​Salem Moving & Storage was founded by Chad in February, 2015. We are still getting everything in place but have made a profit already. We appreciate the work and getting a chance to quote your moves in 2015. We have no doubt our business will grow, like the farmer plows the field and plants the seed, we have great expectations for Winston-​Salem Moving & Storage.
