The WFU Barber Shop is a traditional barber shop specializing in male haircuts of all kinds. The shop is completely open to the public as well as the WFU Campus community.

History

Established in 1961.

The Wake Forest University Barber Shop has been serving the Wake Forest University and Winston-​Salem community for 54 years! We take great pride in helping you to look your very best!

Getting your hair cut in the WFU Barber Shop is a little like a step back in time. Sitting in a traditional barber chair you will find yourself surrounded by photos and memorabilia of some the the greatest Demon Deacons of all time. The walls and back stands are filled with vintage WFU jerseys and photos honoring such Demon Deacon greats as Brian Piccolo, Chris Paul, Tim Duncan, Arnold Palmer and Randolph Childress.

I’m now in my 10^th year at the WFU Barber Shop and have the honor of working alongside the shop owner, Lloyd Howard, who for the past 40 years has been providing some of the best haircuts in Winston-​Salem in his shop at Wake Forest.

To say I love my job would be an understatement. Lloyd and I believe we have the greatest clientele for a barber shop in the world! The WFU students, faculty, staff and the Winston-​Salem community are incredible!

I also work as a photographer for many events at WFU. This has allowed me to become a part of the larger campus community as I photograph the life at Wake Forest from sporting events to student charity and club events. GO DEACS!
